Hi everyone! My name is Sahara, I am 25 years old and this is the restart for me. I have changed my major so many times and have been to a another university, trying to figure out what I really wanted to do, but I think I finally have. My current plan is to get into the radiology technology program at FSW. I have taken a humanities class before but it was more about the way of thinking and the professors tried to get you to think the way they think. An Introduction

Hello, my name is Hannah and I've been attending FSW since 2020 at the peak of COVID. I have a degree in Human Services AS with a specialization in Addiction services that I completed in 2022.

While my initial career and education interest was psychology and mental health services, my first job shifted my focus to health care. I have worked at an outpatient cardiovascular surgeon's office for a little over two years now and it greatly impacted my choice of career and education. I have since signed up for the cardiovascular tech program and am working towards that goal while juggling my current job!

I have always found how humans behave and think very fascinating and I think this will be a great class to explore just that! We are artistic and emotional creatures and our behaviors are very in tune with our psyche. Can't wait for the class.

Enough of that serious talk, I enjoy long walks on the beach... Just kidding. I like cooking, playing video games, shopping, watching shows and movies, and taking care of our many pets.

About Me

Hi everyone!

My name is Kayla and I was born and raised in Florida! I'm originally from Orlando but moved to Naples about 10 years ago. I am currently a full-time student here at FSW and I am also working full-time as a medical assistant. I have pretty much known what I have always wanted to do and that is becoming a paramedic. I already went through the EMT program through FSW and I plan on going to the Paramedic program next August. I am working on getting my Associate in Science at FSW and continuing my education through their paramedic program to get my bachelor's as well.

I love the outdoors and being around friends and family! There are also times when I am a homebody and love laying in bed and watching movies all day especially when it is raining. My favorites to watch are crime documentaries and Nightwatch: New Orleans.

I am excited to see what the future holds!

Canada Invites 1,470 Candidates in the Latest Express Entry Draw

Canada has issued 1,470 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residence to candidates in the Express Entry pool in its latest draw, which took place on February 29, 2024.

The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required for this draw was 534, which is one point lower than the previous general draw on February 28, 2024.

This was the second general draw of the week and the sixth draw of the year. So far, in 2024, Canada has invited 14,230 candidates through the Express Entry system.
