Sandrock build pt. 2
Another example of the green and pink shading
Just have the shoulder left. I’m also Considering painting the shotels bronze, I’m just not sure and I like the way the silver ones look. It also came with the red ones but I don’t want to paint those in case I plan to use them in the future. What to do? 😩
Set it on the shelf to show color differences. Can’t wait to get an action base.
Got an action base for it! :D As you can see not all five will fit so I’m planning to mount a shelf and get a plexiglass case for them. Now to take proper pics!

This is the Master Grade Sandrock EW which is one of my favorite models kits of kits from Gundam Wing and that is mostly because there is more color to break up the boring white. It’s just a really nice model kit!

Finished another Wing boy. Am I the only one that kinda likes the original Deathscythe over the EW version? Giant wing’s and it’s red and black, should be a win, but I like the originals silhouette better. The sweeping shoulders are nicer than the spikes. Also not a fan of the purple/grey they use instead of the white. Plus is has the buster shield. Love that thing. Looks good with the others, and now I work on Sandrock next! The Ver Ka Wing Zero is pre ordered and I still need to get Epyon, Tallgeese and the TV Wing Gundam, but my Gundam Wing collection is coming along nicely.

In my honest opinion the Master Grade ver. EW are the most solid kits. Sandrock ver. EW is no exception! The joints are nice and stiff thanks to the ABS plastic inner frame. This kit will make any Gundam Wing fan happy i guarantee it.

New photography shot! This time from Gundam Wing! . I loved the Gundam Wing series and I have a few from the converge series. This one being Gundam Sandrock Custom EW ver. . Gundam best for the desert and since had a decent location, made use of it too. Only edit in the whole photo was a mini removal of a house in the far background. Sandrock build pt. 1
Starting Sandrock tonight. I'm so excited to finally do this. I've really been looking forward to it. I had all the custom colors premixed over a month ago. And yes all the yellow parts will be bronze.

I am. SO happy the way the purple came out. Spent some time color matching. Based it of the manual color but didn't use black, used more white and purple. Also, old tamiya bottles make great custom mix bottles. :)
I am very pleased with the way these colors have been coming out. 😍 everything is exactly how I want it. The final step is to paint the “white” parts but I’m not planning to have it white. The two Paints on the right are the colors I will be painting it.
I’m proud of myself for getting the colors the way I want them. This is the most excited I’ve been for a build. :}
The decals really start to bring it together
About halfway done. I’ve been taking my time on this one. I messed up my back somehow so sitting is limited. Oh! Side note. The “grey” is actually light pink/purple and mint green over tamiya grey primer.
