Dark, heavy clouds hung over the junkyard making the colour of the sky above undistinguishable from the gravel underneath her feet. Weird as it may have been, such type of weather was her favourite, the danger of rain successfully scaring people from staying outside. Wrapped into abundance of clothing (she wasn’t the best with cold), the scrawny looking girl walked around the junkyard, stopping every so often to pick up any garbage trinket that caught her eye.

Her mildly cheerful attitude did not last long however; over the years she had developed a sort of ‘sixth sense’. If there was anyone around, shivers going down her spine would let her know. Feeling the level of paranoia increasing already, Mephys nervously chewed on her hair - it was a bad habit, certainly an welcomed one as a quiet, irritated grumble drew from her mess of a hair.

“ ₛₜₒₚ dₒᵢₙg ₜₕₐₜ ₛₕᵢₜ.”

“I’m sorry..” she mumbled out an apology. “I j-j-just- I think someone is near---”

He didn’t understand this holiday but he at least tried his best to commit. He had a few presents he had to give, but one was meant for his partner. An immense amount of time was put into wrapping this gifts, A pair of neat pointy wrecker shades, a small Autobot keychain to go on Blurr’s chainsaw and Big rocket launcher just to show how much he appreciated Blurr.  

He’d never celebrated it before but he was willing to, for Blurr... atleast the gifting part. Roadbuster had sent a message to Blurr’s comm. 

:: Blurr. Ya wanna come over to the junkyard for a surprise? Or did ya want me to come over the Emporer? Cause I got something for ya!::

“Do you really like that form you stay in? I like it, I’m just curious if you think so.”

The question gave Tarantulas pause for a moment - he put a claw to his mandibles, his visor quirking sideways a bit.

“You’d think that the fact I deliberately and painstakingly created this frame for myself would mean I do like it. But see... now you’ve got me wondering if I’ll continue liking it for the rest of the foreseeable future. I did abandon my previous frame, after all.”
