I definitely recognize the value of saying things like ‘Greg was a super irresponsible parent, actually’ and ‘everything that’s happened to Steven has been really messed up and he’s Traumatized about it’ and ‘happy endings don’t exist-- doing good takes a lifetime of ongoing work’ out loud but to be completely honest su future just stressed me out too much to enjoy it

#I think it might have been okay if it was JUST 'steven finally recognizes his own trauma and learns to heal' #and I mean even a rough and honest 'STRUGGLES to heal' like they did #but 'hey another person shows up who hates you and wants to kill you and destroy the world' #and 'hey during the course of trying to work through your shit you accidentally do a literal murder' #just felt like......... it was just hard to watch #AND LIKE I SAID I recognize the VALUE of 'your trauma doesn't define you and doing bad things doesn't make you a bad person' #I don't think su future was *bad* I just personally hated watching it ksdjhfkfdhgjg #all this for no particular reason except that su music came up on shuffle and made me think about greg lol #SHRUG #steven's been through so much already I really didn't need to see him shatter somebody!!! that fucking sucked!!! thanks!!!! #about me
