sorry okay I'm so sorry but
The visual of Engie sing-yodeling a cute little southern serenade is damn good. Think about the yodeling in Let's Ride Into The Sunset Together or a Texan'd-up cover of Mary Schneider's cover of Toselli's Serenade. He'd probably do it for Medic or Heavy - Medic not knowing how to react in the moment but showering him with love after and Heavy sitting down and soaking in the song with a happy little sparkle in his eyes (he adores operas because I said so (do you understand me? Is this making sense? Are we connected?))
Anyway, I genuinely love the idea of Bidwell and Jeremy being brothers, Bidwell being older OF COURSE! It's so much more funny to imagine spy being both of their fathers just like seven years apart, with Bidwell soaking up Spy's composed and eloquent side and Jeremy inheriting in the impulsivity, the bloodlust, the pip-squeak-ness (and the "charm.")
Their sibling rivalry just exists despite them not sharing a childhood, every time they have a chance meet there are just. daggers in their eyes. I mean - they've met before by "coincidence" and their personalities just contrast so much, they annoy each other by existing. Everyone else on the team (besides spy) is caught so off guard because "why does this random guy who works for the munitions supplier seem to know scout??"
Still, neither of them knowing about spy could be interesting, though I feel it's better that Bidwell would. Also - when they're all three together it's SO funny because the whole dynamic is just Spy and Spy 2. And uhhhh... Spy himself wrapped in a twister of weird feelings and shame when Bidwell confronts him all upset. Like as much as Jeremy annoys him, he DESERVES to know, man..! My thoughts are as scattered as Spy's children around the globe...
Finally ahh... Imo, Bidwell's mother wouldn't be the same as Scout's. One way or another, she isn't around. but when all comes out about parenthood aand.. absent fathers and.. mothers and family and stuff... Scout's ma welcomes him in with open arms. it's quite healing, okay? She's a genuine sweetheart (because I said so.)
Maybe overly fluffy but considering the TF2 universe it's what they deserve. Found family is wonderful but re-found family... ourgh...
