The funny thing about trying to think about an Undertale Omori AU is that ANYONE heavily involved with Hitori could be either Basil OR Mari and it would work.

Just been thinking about it #Specifically how like plotline wise Nageki SHOULD by all rights be Mari in a Hatoful Omori AU #But he would make SUCH a good Basil it's insane #I just want to draw them as eachother !! #Including like. Shadow Nageki and STRANGER Basil #I could make like. a series of slightly esoteric Spoiler-y images that if you've seen either game will instantly obliterate the other one #Nageki and Hitori Final Duet is something I've wanted to do for forever #But there's other much more vague but INTENSELY SPOILERED things I could do #Yuuya standing at the top of a flight of stairs looking horrified #Shadow Nageki as any of the Phobias/STRANGER #The King also #I have had a mental image of drawing The King as any/all of the Phobias for FOREVER now #It fits SO WELL #Nageki and Basil sharing the same aesthetic and then both having a dark Shadow!self that lives in someone's head makes me go insane #I feel like there is more esoteric only-a-spoiler-in-context type things that I could do with this #I think it has great potential. I just need to organize my thoughts on the matter a little better

So, yet another new, fun addition to the roleplay to keep you lot entertained will be player tasks! These will be randomly dropped small, relaxed tasks to help you fully explore your character and their storylines.

This first one will focus on developing some details of your character that you may not of thought about before. Beneath the read more is 45 questions to be answered as your character. You may answer as many of them as you like but don’t feel pressured to complete them all. Please feel free to use images, drawings, collages, etc in your answers.

Any posts related to this task must be tagged with romtask and character development.

If your character is a changeling may I suggest answering the questions as your core character or pick one of your personas.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT QUESTIONNAIRE

PERSONALITY - 13. Are they more optimistic or pessimistic? 14. Are they introverted or extroverted? 15. What are their pet peeves? 16. What bad habits do they have? 17. Do they have any phobias? 18. How do they display affection? 19. How competitive are they? 20. If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be? 21. Do they have any obscure hobbies or routines?

BACKSTORY - 22. What are the names and ages of their close family members? Parents, siblings, etc. 23. Is their family alive and are they still in contact with them? 24. Where are they from? City, nation? 25. Did they have a childhood best friend? 26. Have they had any pets? 27. Did they grow up rich or poor? What were their living conditions like? 28. What is their educational background? 29. As a child, what did they want to be when they grew up? 30. What advice would they give to their younger self? 31. Growing up, were they ever bullied or were they the bully? 32. Who do they look up to/who is their role model?

PRESENT - 33. Do they currently have a place of residence? 34. What is their most treasured possession? 35. What is their drink of choice? 36. Which king/queen are they loyal to, if any? 37. Have they ever killed anyone? 38. What was their last promise and did they keep it?

LOVE - 39. What was their first kiss like, if they’ve had one? 40. Are they in a relationship/have a love interest? 41. Have they ever been in love? 42. Have they ever had their heart broken?

SPIRITUALITY - 43. Do they follow a god, if so who? 44. What do they think happens to them after death? 45. What is their spirit animal?
