Mariama Spector was created by Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder for Avengers: Forever (Vol. 2/2021). So far she has appeared in issues #1, #3, and #4, but as the series is ongoing, there is a good chance that we might see more of her at some point.

Earth-818 is characterized by being a wasteland ruled over by a symbiote-bonded Red Skull and Mariama is described by Tony “Ant-Man” Stark as follows: “A one-woman global rebellion. The ultimate shadow soldier.” (Good for her).

Some interesting points is that she continues the Moon Knight Lady theme of, in addition to her firearm, carrying a big ol’ sword and that she frequently refers to a “mother moon,” implying that Khonshu might be a female entity in Earth-818 (???).

Finally, I just adore her costume design, especially where it seems to combine elements of a head covering with a knight’s helm.
