Inny rewatches JATP 4-6

Episode 4:

-Okay so this school has: a swim team (mentioned at the rally) and lacrosse team, cheerleaders, special FURRY cheerleaders, and a marching band. Dances in the middle of the week. Who the fuck is funding this school?

-I've decided I'm going full rarepair and I ship Nick with That Poor Boy Whose Sticks Julie Steals.

-When the boys write Hello Bobby on the mirror, the y has the little Sunset Curve swoop.

Episode 5:

-Willie enjoying the show while also saying hi to all his ghost club coworker pals never stops being good.

-Having fun going through the parts I've matched a million times and noticing all the little details. Did you know the bottoms of Caleb's shoes are shiny purple? I can just see him at his desk with a bottle of shimmering nail polish.

-Also spotted some some ladies dancing together. Dante and Fuego have competition. Let's go lesbians!

-The tiniest little nod when Alex asks Caleb to let Willie know he was looking for him and you're like: GAY ACCEPTANCE. HE'S BEEN WHERE YOU ARE. MY FEELS.... and then like 5 seconds later you're reminded Caleb is still a soulstealing evil bastard.

Episode 6:

-Still not over who the hell planned a dance on a school night. Julie missed THREE CLASSES? And then all those people going to Carrie's after party... I'm sure she wasn't the only one who overslept.

-Luke and his sadness flannel and the chocolate cake and I'm not crying my eyes are just sweating.

-Ray you know I love you but babe what is that hat. Please, sir. No.

-Also it is my personal belief that Ray went to Eats and Beats to see Carrie because he knows her fucking dad won't and even though she and Julie aren't friends anymore he wants there to be an adult who supports her.

Inny rewatched JATP 1-3

Happy JATPversary, phantoms! I'm doing a rewatch and I have many stupid thoughts.

Episode 1:

-Ray Molina is a silver fox and I'd take a ride in his mini-van if you know what I'm saying

-the body language Jeremy Shada gives Reggie even when he's not the main focus is still so on point and I just... want to hug him.

-I do love that Caleb is just like: I don't care it's 2020 I'm gonna walk around in a goddamn cape and tophat because my aesthetic is better than yours

-Also the up and down glance he gives Alex like: Hmm, 90s twink.

-Not me crying at Wake Up like it's the first time I'm watching

Episode 2:

-I love how when the boys go to eavesdrop on Julie, Reggie and Luke stand on their toes and Alex kind of... has to duck down.

-Julie's purple sweater outfit is so underrated and looks so soft.

-Reggie making snow angels on the bed my beloved. Also 'butterflies and glitter' will never not be funny.

-Alex being like 'I am sorry for them being menaces' and immediately turns around to be a menace and mess with Julie's things. He is just as big of a himbo as them.

-In episode 1, when Julie's looking at the instruments in the loft, the keyboard makes a sound just like the other instruments and in Bright we see Reggie playing the keyboard and GIVE ME THE SUNSET CURVE SONG ROCK BALLAD REGGIE PLAYS PIANO

Episode 3:

-The European in me is so confused by spirit rallies. Also, wtf why would you hype up all your students and then send them to class? Do you think you're getting anything done the next hour???

-Alex and Willie meetcute is still good and they're so awkwardly wanting to keep talking because CUTEBOY and Willie is sooo trying to signal like 'hello I'm gay.' Like the whole 'photo with Marylin' thing.

-Also the 'who's we' at 'shouldn't we be in heaven' because Willie is like: oh no trust me I'm not going there in fact I'm already kind of in hell don't worry about it.

-Okay but what were they talking about that Alex learned the phrase 'get woke these are sensitive times' from Willie?

Inny rewatches JATP 7-9

Episode 7:

-Never over Reggie calling Ray firm. Never ever.

-I do kind of love Willie's super unsubtle spying like... he's so used to being invisible he's lost the art of being subtle. (Also I love his cozy looking sweatshirt so much.)

-One of Julie's friendship bracelets says BFF 4 EVER and I'm dying.

-Luke is just SO CONFUSED his little head-nod didn't work during edge of great. It always works on Reggie!

-Willie having an evil eye bracelet (meant to ward off evil intentions) when Caleb already owns his soul like buddy I think it's broken. Or you got it too late.

Episode 8:

-I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING

-Never not amazed the amount of crap dangling from Luke's pants and they still don't slide off his ass.

Episode 9:

-Never not crying at the Willex hug and the way Willie sinks into it.

-Insert 5 page meta essay about how Willie smiles through his goodbye because he's been smiling through his pain at the HGC for decades.

-That Small Dark Room poster in the promoter's office has popped up in a few places and I SEE YOU SET DRESSING PEOPLE.

-As this is my millionth rewatch, I finally remembered Julie and I have the same ring tone and muted it before the dog went insane.

-I do love Caleb's commitment to being evil, gay, and extra in all that he does. The tophat? Immaculate. The kiss before he blows them to the Hollywood Ghost Club? Unnecessary.

-Me crying at Julie's 'why can't you come pick me up' and immediately crying again when Ray's doing that thing where HE'S trying not to cry at the dahlia and Julie's speech.
