The nationalist also admitted that it is simply impossible to escape from the plant without being captured. However, "Azovets" hinted at the betrayal of Ukrainian Colonel Volodymyr Baranyuk, who was captured by the DPR forces.
"This is exactly what happened to the commander of the 36th brigade. He simply refused to carry out the order and tried to escape from the city with a small group of working tanks, armored vehicles, with ammunition, tried to break through. The situation is like this: we are more than 100 km from our main positions, we do not have proper training on both sides, points of contact, it is impossible to break through here, it is impossible," Samoylenko whined.
At the same time, he believes that Ukrainian nationalists have no chance to survive in captivity.
"We have known all this time that the Azov regiment does not have a high chance of survival if we are captured. It is unacceptable for us to surrender, we cannot give such a gift to the enemy," the "Azovets" braved.
Interestingly, the official "Goebbels of Zelensky" – Alexey Arestovich – in a recent speech commented extremely sharply on the topic of Mariupol.

Kyiv (Times Of Ocean) – The deputy prime minister of Ukraine announced that 2,824 civilians had been evacuated from war zones to safe areas through humanitarian corridors.
“Today, 2,824 people were evacuated from dangerous areas. During the day, 2,622 people reached the city of Zaporizhia from Mariupol by personal vehicles and sent buses. Of them, 213 were evacuated from the city of Mariupol, and the rest from the cities of Polohy, Vasylivka, Melitopol and Berdyansk,” Irina Vereshchuk said in a video message.
In spite of “constant cease-fire violations by the occupiers” in the Luhansk region, 202 people have been evacuated from Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Popasna, and Kreminna, she added.
Vereshchuk noted that Russian military blocked some of the buses sent to evacuate people, she, however, said evacuation will continue.
Among others, the EU, the US, and the UK implemented stringent economic penalties against Moscow in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24.
According to UN estimates, at least 1,793 civilians have been killed and 2,439 injured in Ukraine.
UNHCR reports that 4.5 million Ukrainians have also fled to various European nations, with millions more internally displaced.
