hi!! i hope this isn’t an annoying question, but I’m really curious if you and the Hilda team had a solid idea in mind for how many years the time skip to season 3 was or if it’s just kinda left open? I thought at first that it was just a year or so but the kids are sassy teenagers now jksjskh

its not ! but I'll just say for the record im not gonna get too deep in the weeds answering or confirming anything about the show - but this one is easy at least because theres a line in the 3rd season confirming shes 13. (honestly not that I think anyone really cares about offical ages or what year its set in on the team, ) as far as her age in season 1/2 , no one ever really came out and said anything but she was always around like 10/11 years old -ish-. That age where you really want to start branching out on your own. And the 3rd season could very much be viewed as a transition out of childhood and moving forward into her teens. andy and luke would know more as far as ..if they had a solid idea. but I always picked up the vibe that it was around 2 years time gap for that reason . So its not too long ! I think a lot of what makes them look older is also an evolution of the directors style, he always intended for the show to grow with its audience (albiet at a slower rate haha)

Scene That Lives in Your Head Rent Free - not exactly one scene but two dialogues. kanan and ezra are asked “are you jedi?” and at one point ezra answers “we do our best” and at another point he just says “let’s hope so” i’m loSING MY MIND HERE, there’s so many layers here, so many things to unpack that i can’t even do right now. also the freaking *contrast* to luke skywalker in the mandalorian when din asks him the same question and luke says “i am”
