The farmhouse is too small for so many people! Time to renovate. (The original version of the farmhouse was downloaded from someone on LJ many, many years ago, but I could never find the post again and now I'm even blanking on their username. >_> The perils of playing an antique game. I basically redid the floor plan from scratch at some point. Basically the only remnants from the original are the sidings and windows.)

@kayleigh-83 posting Brightmaple's new retirement home reminded me that I did, in fact, want to take another crack at building my own again. I think I'd rather live in Kayleigh's tbh, it looks nicer

I built it in the center of town (not that you can see), as opposed to the last one on the outskirts. It's built with dorm doors, and I use BoilingOil's dorm key mod with it. There are currently five suites, and a big empty space on the second floor that I just left closed off because I'm not sure what I'd like to put there yet. Outside there's a lovely, sunny patio with a pool and hot tub, chess tables, vegetable garden, and a telescope for Knowledge sims/spying on the neighbors..

This lot feels huge to me. Fingers crossed for no pink flashing when I get around to moving people in. The small room on the first floor, bottom right, is intended for a Servo caretaker. I might have Clove take the role eventually, or else a new Servo.

Harper: Art, mostly painting. At least I can set my own hours.

Gaius: Mmmm... this could pair well in a sandwich! Maybe mozzarella, or a nice sharp cheddar and a dab of dijon mustard?

Harper: ...You're pretty, so I think I'm willing to look past this.

You don't even play basketball! I decided at the last moment to keep Lily and Jayne as roommates until Lily figures out what's going on with her romantic situation (because if she's marrying Arthur, there is zero percent chance Jayne would be willing to live under the same roof as him, but also she kiiiiinda has a date want for Ashley now). Harper is moving back with her moms to save money; Rosalind and Camille are moving in together; and neither I nor Ashley know where he's ending up.

Anyway, it's time for my favorite uni moment of all: seeing what ridiculous outfits the game puts everyone in.

9/10, not entirely Ros's style but extremely close! They might wear this with a different colored shirt!

2/10. What is this, summer business casual? Where is the color???

7/10, points docked for mismatched seasons, but he would wear these separately.

3/10. Why would you do Harper so dirty like this, game?

9/10, not his color palette but I'll probably put a different version in his wardrobe.

Bonus: Camille! 5/10. Not for Camille, but I wouldn't change it if I saw it on a townie. Thanks for the 19,000 simoleons, btw!

After thinking it over, Maria decided to use part of it to move into a larger house, one with three bedrooms so the twins can each have their own space as they get older. Maria shared a room with her own twin brother for years, so she understands the appeal of having your own room, even if it's small.
