AGSHSHSHAHS I GOTCHU BABY this isn’t an essay but it is me being deep in my soft nonu feels 

as we all know, wonwoo is a certified sucker for a ballad. he’s such a hopeless romantic. he loves a simple love song. motherfucker would absolutely sing along to nice n easy any time it played. he’s probably got a playlist of ratpack hits that he hums along to while doing menial shit around the house with his sweet deep tone DHFJDSFD

but while you’re trying to sleep???? i imagine you haven’t been sleeping well for a while because you haven’t been able to sleep over and you got too used to having him around. and he’s worried about you. he can tell you’re exhausted and even though he’s not tired at all, he climbs into bed with you and pulls the covers up to your chin and you just curl up and your hand is gripping his tee. he’d be laying next to you, head propped up on his hand as he ran his other hand over your hair and face just watching you and quietly singing. he doesn’t know all the words but he knows the important parts and hums the melody when he doesn’t know the lyrics. 

“in other words,” he sings quietly, hand dropping to where yours is holding his shirt. “hold my hand.” your eyes are closed but you smile softly, not quite asleep but completely unable to open your eyes. “in other words,” he continues, bringing your hand to his lips and kissing your knuckles gently.

“baby, kiss me.”

and you just pry your eyes open and look up at him, your lids heavy from lack of sleep and too much work. he just drops his cheek off his own hand, leaning down to press kisses to your forehead, and all you can do is sigh happily and wrap your arms around him to cuddle him properly, listening to his sweet voice as you drift away.

it’s the best you’ve sleeped in a month.
