-a/n- 😭 one of my new favorites. Love me some soft leeknow and I definitely do not see enough soft leeknow. This one was a little more self-indulgent. Leeknow and Stray Kids really are my safe place and one of the only places where I feel safe. Id love to hear from others on how StrayKids has helped them or made them happy. 💛

"I love you." You confessed, lying down with your head in Leeknow's lap. He placed a hand in your hair and softly massaged your scalp. "Love you too." He murmured. You nuzzled your face further into his lap, seeking his warmth as you felt yourself drifting off to sleep.

The warmth coming from his body and his comforting scent made you feel at peace, safe. Before you knew it you started rambling to him, too tired and comfortable to even worry about saying something that could come back and hurt you.

"Thank you. For letting me stay here like this, for making me feel so comfortable that I can fully relax around you. I can be myself around you and not worry about getting hurt." You let out a small laugh in disbelief, thinking back on your childhood. "You're the only person that i've ever felt this comfortable around. Even when you're not right here with me. All I have to do is read a text from you, or remember something that you did, and I feel better." Your eyelids droop as you feel sleep overcoming your body. "I feel like everything will be okay, when you're here. No one and nothing can hurt me.....because of you."

You fell asleep before you could say anything else but what you said was plenty enough to make Leeknow feel all warm and fuzzy. He never felt like he had an impact on other people's lives so he was overjoyed to know that he had such a big influence on your life. He was really happy that he made you feel so safe when no one else did.

With that happiness he also felt pained that you never felt safe enough to be yourself around other people. You never had a safe place before him.

He protectively placed his hand on your thigh as he stared at your sleeping form with a content smile on his face.

He promised to himself then that he would do anything it took to keep you safe. To make sure you knew that you could always go to him for comfort or help when you were struggling.

And just like he was your safe place, you were his. He felt safe with you, comfortable, at ease. Just being able to see you made his day. Knowing that you were waiting for him at home gave him the energy he needed to get through the day.

"Thank you y/n, for being my safe place."
