Jazz regards Red with amusement. Fingertips trace along the edge of his datapad. They're currently in the tunnels under the third layer of Cybertron's Rust level. The datapad is tucked into his subspace as they continue towards older conduits that lead to his Clade's meeting dens. "Considerin' ah was emerged in these tunnels? Know 'em even if ah was blind, deaf, an' without mah olfactory senses." A small, almost shy smile is flung towards the courtesan. " 'Sides, wantcha t'meet my grandcarrier."

🌸 - He enjoys Red's sense of humor. It might seem like a major cop-out, but Jazz genuinely enjoys talking to Red. There's a scathing wit there he appreciates, along with the other's adorable dorkiness that just sort of charms the spy despite himself.

🌸 - Red's pragmaticism. They've both lived in some harrowing times, and in some not-so-great circumstances. However, both of them can figure out how to use it to their advantage, but also know when to step back and let things happen accordingly.

🌸- Red's affection. Again, it may seem like a cop-out, but Red has NEVER been stingy with his tactile affection around Jazz. The saboteur comes from a clade where touch is just as important as speaking and eating. It's a whole form of speaking without words, and a form of reassurance. The fact that Red has NEVER shied away from touching him, even when he's showed up at his absolute worst and covered in energon means the WORLD to Jazz. The mech has unwittingly garnered quite a lot of the Polyhexian's loyalty.

And until the day he betrays Jazz utterly, he'll keep it.

Jazz+ Redstrike + Rivalry

They come together after each party: the highly trained courtesan, and the buymecha. Before he had been a feared member of the Special Operations, he'd been just another member of the disposable class. Their rivalry had started in one of those aforementioned parties, but it had somehow managed dissolve into friendship.

It had become Redstrike picking Jazz up after a bad client, of Jazz hiding Red from nobles who wanted to hurt- to break their contract. It had turned into a sort of fighting-for-fare into companionship.

And when the war broke out, Jazz didn't forget about the other.

He helped Red escape off planet, helped him find a place on one of the colony planets. He visited him on every trip, checked on the other who was his brother-under-the-metal-skin.

And sometimes, when the rains fell on Red's adopted planet—

they just curled, and breathed each other's air...

-reminding each other that they still functioned.

Redstrike is just gonna snuggle up to Jazz, maybe give a few kisses. He misses spending time with the handsome spy.

You know what, he's absolutely okay with this. Red's one of the few mechs invited to his little hide-y hole that he uses on the occasion. He'll shift his weight and his position so that the other can snuggle up a bit more effectively. Plating flares a little in relaxation, along with the strut- vibrating purr that Jazz is a bit infamous for.

"Been a whole-aft lil bit, Red-" the ex-agent murmurs, optics lidding behind his customary visor.

Redstrike is just gonna pick up the tiny Jazz and snuggle him. "So cute."

His plating is warm, and the small little mechano-gecko is confused about being picked up. The other doesn't smell like carrier or clade, so he's not entirely sure who they are. However, they -are- warm, and holding him very gently.

His helm tilts a little as he squeaks softly, little claws and pedes magnetizing to the other's plating and allowing himself to mimic some of the other's plating coloration and patterns. A soft croon escapes the bitlet as he allows himself to be toted off.

Redstrike is hella attractive, and Jazz wouldn't mind climbing that snake like he's the last rope in the obstacle course.

A certain snake mech just waits for Jazz to return to his habsuite, waiting just outside the door for once. He knows better than to try and break into Jazz's room after all. He smiles, a bit playfully, mostly mischievous and his tail swishes behind him. "You've been gone awhile. I've been busy."

The door chimes, letting him in quite willingly. Said Polyhexian is currently sprawled out on his side in a heavily pillowed nest he's built in one corner of the room. Blankets are piled up here and there, and sometimes- they move. Little claws tug here and there, along with furious squeaking as one or another pounces their sibling.

However, Tempo- ever the aloof, hangs near Jazz, watching Redstrike with wide, curious purple optics. He sticks a finger in his mouth, glancing at Jazz, and squeaking- before turning back to Red with a light wave.

Jazz, meanwhile, merely grins easily at the courtesan- reaching out with a clawed hand to offer him into the nest. "Eh, half a dozen of one, an' a dozen of the other."

Redstrike is gonna slip in and picked Jazz up. "The boys and I have gifts for you. And leftover treats and cake. Besides I want cuddles."

He's gonna dangle there like a ragdoll, but Red'll feel the purring as he's lifted. Jazz very much enjoys being moved about by people he trusts- and Red is in that very narrow scope of being so. His optics lid as he soaks in the other's frame-heat, indulging in a wide yawn.

Sharp, vicious dentae are briefly bared- and then are once again covered.

He blinks as Red comes up to look over the hanging bough of organic foliage with him. His helm tilts to one side, then the other - curling a claw to get the taller mech's attention.

Once Red bends down, however- Jazz surprises him with a kiss, and a wide grin.
