TRSi | King Roman Visits Tinijia, Honors Island’s Ties to Freret

The relatively small palace known as The Isle of St. Louis has fully operational once again. King Roman of Freret visits his territory for the first time since the revolution.

Freret is the only kingdom in the Union of Kingdoms to have a territory, especially one that can technically function as a sovereign kingdom. Before and during the revolution, King Roman's father, the late King Louis Orleans, was the only monarch willing to listen to the indigenous people of Tinijia (Sulani), resulting in the island people's undying allegiance to the Crown of Freret. An advocate for technological advancement, King Roman has since made Tinijia the center of the Fretetian Space Exploration Program. 

From what TRSi sources have uncovered, the Dauphin and his twin brother, HRH Prince Remus, will use this visit a chance to embark on their first royal engagements since becoming young adults and full-time "working royals." 

While we can't confirm their schedule, Louison Palace did release official photos to confirm the arrival of HM King Roman and his sons, the Dauphin and Prince of Freret. We'll keep you posted as updates come in.

TSRi | King Iman of Mal and Princess Anne of Valencia Engaged, Treaty Finalized

There's a regional saying that nothing makes better jewels than Mali pressure. We assume that's the case for brides as well. Nearly two-weeks after images of King Iman and Princess Anne surfaced and speculation of their living situation at Britechester became news, King Iman has officially proposed. Although this engagement has more to do with geopolitics than love, the couple does appear to have organic chemistry.

Shared from personal social media accounts, the risky fashion choices of HRH Princess Anne have received heavy criticism, especially from the very traditional and religious Mali elite. Queen Paige of Valencia, Princess Anne's cousin, has congratulated the couple on being a hallmark of what "modern and tyranny free reign" is all about.

It's improbable that the Sultan and Sultana will release a statement, as King Iman, since coming of age, is technically the head of state, with the Sultan and Sultana serving more religious and symbolic roles. Since the revolution ended, this arranged marriage the bridge between Valencia and Mal, two countries with a tumultuous past.

While mourning the loss of Dowager Queen Mary of Valencia, the Palace of Five Kings touched hearts by releasing a photo of HRH Princess Bria to celebrate HRH's birthday.

Since the family is in mourning, no statement was released with the photo.

We wish the royal family of Valencia the best. Happy birthday, Princess Bria!

Fun fact: HRH Princess Bria and HRH Princess Clare of Freret are both named after their 4th great grandmother, Bria Paul. Princess Clare's full name is Clare Bria Marie (Mary in Valencia).

TRSi | Royal Princesses of Freret Celebrate a Birthday

Louison Palace released a photo in celebration of Their Royal Highnesses, Princess Elise, and Princess Clare of Freret, the youngest of the four Freretian royal kids.

For their birthday, HM King Roman (who recently celebrated a birthday) created the titles of Madame Royale and Madame Seconde for the first and second-born daughters of Freretian monarchs. The eldest of the two, HRH Princess Elise, is Madame Royale, and her sister, HRH Princess Clare is Madame Seconde.

TRSi | Queen Lila Hosts Private Citizen Dinner During State Visit

As we shared earlier this week, the Alexandrian-Marian state visit included a private “state” dinner for private citizens residing in Alexandria or Santa Maria. The purpose of the dinner was to hear from families how relations can be improved to help families with multinational connects in the region.

While we weren’t allowed to photograph the dining area, TRSi was able to capture photos of the couples in the Queen’s Waiting Hall outside of the state dining room. 

The couples also posed for individual portraits and we’ve shared a few below.

In terms of jewels:

Queen Lila: HM wore her favorite tiara, the Santa Maria Sunrise Tiara, a custom gift from the Imperial Family of Windenburg and SanMyshuno. For this occasion, HM switched out the turquoise gems for pearl inlays, creating a more subtle appeal. She also were her Diamond Quarter necklace and Ivy Diamond-drops, both gifts from her husband, HRH Prince Alejandro.

Queen Robyn: HM wore Frederick’s Tiara, the unofficial state tiara named after her father-in-law, the first king of Alexandria, King Frederick. This is the simple piece’s first public appearance. She paired the tiara with simple diamond drop earrings.

TRSi | King Iman & Princess Anne Spotted in Britechester, TWICE

Although we've known for years that King Iman of Mal and Princess Anne of Valencia would wed, no one expected them to seemingly move-in together before marriage, especially so soon after Queen Mary's death.

Students hungry for fame sent TRSi a few photos of the young couple hanging around campus and the town. Usually, this wouldn't be a problem. However, King Iman, as the official head of Mal, has taken certain religious oaths that prevent him from living with any woman he isn't married to...in addition to other things he's banned from partaking in.

We've reached out to both the Mali and Valencian press offices, neither of which has commented. An insider close to Queen Paige, Princess Anne's cousin, says that this isn't even on their radar as they deal with the death of Dowager Queen Mary.

Let’s at least hope a proposal is on the way to quiet the critics.

TRSi | Twin Princes Share First Royal Engagement

The last time we saw the Dauphin of Freret and his brother, HRH Prince Remus, it was in celebration of their teenage years. In their first major public appearance, the two opened a new park honoring the kingdom’s commitment to space exploration. Now graduates of high school, the Freretian Twin Princes are spending time as full-time royals before starting their service in the Freretian Royal Navy.

Before shipping off for naval training, the two joined HM for a brief tour of their kingdom's island territory, Tinijia. For the first engagement since officially being created Princes of Freret, the similarly-dressed royal twins opened the King Roman Space Memorial, a park designed to honor the people of Tinijia and their efforts to help launch Freret into space.

Tinijia is the home of the Regional Space Station, founded and predominantly funded by HM King Roman and the government of Freret. The park also memorializes the six astronauts who lost their lives during the space station's first rocket launch.

In a joint statement, the Princes shared the following:

We are honored and privileged to be welcomed here by the people of Tinijia. Although we never met our grandfather, our father, His Majesty, the King, has shared tales of the strength, intelligence, and loyalty of the Tiniji people. That is why it was evident to my father that the only logical place to locate the space station created to take us forward and beyond on this island. We know the people here have the strength and resilience to be the stewards of progress for the kingdom of Freret and Union of Kingdoms.

TRSi | King & Queen of Alexandria Arrive in Santa Maria for State Visit

TRM King Johan and Queen Robyn of Alexandria arrived at the Apostolic Palace of Santa Maria to mark their first state visit to the desert kingdom. Following royal security protocol, Their Majesties arrived in separate cars, escorted by the Santa Marian guard.

The first Alexandrian-Marian state visit was planned by HM Queen Lila's government, with the hopes of strengthening ties between the two kingdoms already bound by the treaty of the Union of Kingdoms.

Due to its religious and historic status, there are strict limits on photography in the palace. The Apostolic Palace allowed TRSi to take a few photos of the royal couples meeting in the St. Gabriel Reception Hall. We snapped a few of the couples touring the palace's Santa Marian Gallery, a three-story art collection.

The state visit has four major events:

A private state dinner with local citizens of Alexandria and Santa Maria who've moved to either kingdom

TM Queen Lila and Queen Robyn will visit a local village of affordable housing units for Santa Marian women

The opening of a national park dedicated to HM Queen Lila

TSRi | New Portraits and Exciting News from Santa Maria

The Apostolic Palace of Santa Maria released a series of family portraits of the Royal House of DeSuerte in honor of HM Queen Lila's 10th anniversary as monarch of Santa Maria.

The first photo is a family portrait of HM Queen Lila, HRH Prince Consort Alejandro, and HRH Crown Prince Miguel, who will celebrate a birthday soon.

The second and third photos, taken in the Apostolic Gardens came with two extraordinary announcements from HM's press office,

"Her Most Anointed Majesty, Queen Lila DeSuerte, would like to ask all Santa Marians to lift her and the royal family in prayer, as the palace is glad to announce HM's pregnancy with her second child. HM will host King Johan and Queen Robyn of Alexandria for an official state visit before taking maternity leave, where HRH Prince Alejandro and the Church of Santa Maria will take over official duties."

TRSi | Queen Anne of Valencia, Dead

The Palace of Five Kings released a statement announcing the passing of Dowager Queen Mary of Valencia. According to the Dowager Queen's private secretary, the first Queen of Valencia died in her sleep at Orleans Cottage in the Freretian countryside.

Although critics and historians will remember her as an unimpactful and somewhat troubled Queen, her supporters will remember her fondly for knowing her role and playing it.

She is survived by her only daughter, HRH Princess Anne of Valencia, who recently enrolled at the University of Britechester where she studies computer science.

Following HM's request, she will have a private funeral at the palace chapel.

HM Queen Paige released a brief statement, sending condolences and asking for Princess Anne's privacy during this time.

The Royal Press Office of the Blue Palace released an official statement and photos from the first Ceremonies of Investiture in Alexandria, a new ceremony created by King Johan for...a variety of reasons.

On this day, the King and People of Alexandria, have made through decree, birth, and sovereignty, Frederic Johan Alexander Augustus, the Crown Prince of Alexandria. As Crown Prince, His Royal Highness swears absolute allegiance and faith in the kingdom of Alexandria and its people. As such, he is now charged with leading the Duchy of Frederickson as the voice and liaison of the King.

His formal style and honors, according to the King's Statute of Prince Frederic's Birth (01.x2) are:

It was an exciting day as citizens of the Union of Kingdoms were treated to a live broadcast of not one but two Queens of the Union of Kingdoms! TRM Queen Lila of Santa Maria and Queen Elena of Freret traveled to the Union of Kingdoms Soundstage to film a live Q&A and info session about their joint project, The Lavender Foundation. 

The Lavender Foundation, a foundation started by HRM Queen Lila, is committed to increasing the number of women engaged with STEM. During the social isolation, the foundation has been raising funds to ensure all girls throughout the region have access to technology and distance learning during these troubling times. Read a brief excerpt below to learn more about the queens and their project with The Lavender Foundation.

Georgia: Queen Lila, you’ve spent a lot of time raising funds and awareness specifically for women in STEM. While this is admirable, I wonder if there’s a reason why STEM gets more attention from you than any of your other patronages and policies--you do have constitutional powers after all.

QL: Thanks Georgia. For me, it’s all rooted in my belief that education is an equalizer and can be the vehicle used by the most vulnerable citizens of Santa Maria and the Union of Kingdoms to change their lives, our region, and the world. The data, which I follow, shows that education is one of greatest tools to close achievement and wealth gaps in our region. That’s why it was imperative that I do my part in supporting the Union of Kingdoms by partnering with my eastward silicon neighbor, Freret.

Georgia: Beautifully put, Ma’am. And for you, Queen Elena, why The Lavender Foundation? Freret is the most technologically advanced kingdoms and actually, some would say, economically benefit from other kingdoms lacking said technology, no?

QE: As Her Majesty so beautifully said, access to a high-quality education levels the playing field for all citizens of our region. We cannot ignore the inherent inequity that exists in our society. Our mere existence as royals are proof of it. We cannot forget that accepting somethings doesn’t mean accepting all that comes with it. We can change our present by investing in our future, which we believe is better if we equip all people, especially women, with the necessary technology, personal, and academic capacity.

TRSi | The Union of Kingdom’s Very Own Romeo and Juliet

Sometimes life seems a tad too poetic, especially for people who live their lives under constant public observation and scrutiny. Soon after news of the volatile meeting between HRM King Johan of Alexandria and the regions Elected Minister (EM), the rumors about the two leaders' teens dating were discovered to be true.

Paparazzi snapped HRH Princess Cora, and Mr. Sebastian cuddled on the grounds of the Blue Palace this weekend. Initially reported as just friends, the photos circulating the web imply that the dad-crossed lovers are developing something much more than a platonic friendship.

With recent news sources indicating that the EM is listening to public sentiment and may soon use his executive powers to audit The Royal Treasures of the five royal families, we doubt this relationship will be encouraged by either the King or the EM.

While I haven’t been able to play  much, I have been in CAS more and downloading a lot of CC. With so many active royal families, I sometimes get things mixed up when it comes to ownership of different jewels. With that, I’ll be uploading a photo series of what the “Royal Sim Insider” will cover as The Jewels of the Union of Kingdoms. This will also help my legacy/history in-game play as the families grow.
