Above is Vince Staples said in a recent, interesting interview with L.A. Stereo T.V. It was a bold statement that he made along with his frequent collaborator & producer Michael Uzowuru who went on discussing how some listeners can be selfish when it comes to their music and not support a musician's other ventures. This video was uploaded led up to the release of their mixtape Winter In Prague, the latest effort by both Vince & Michael.

On the mixtape, Vince's character isn't hesitant to retaliate with violence for whatever reason. Assuming by the number of times he mentions firearms, Vince is packing serious heat. He's a guy that runs on greed & getting what's rightfully his as noted on "Waterpark", where he stated that he wouldn't do any features if money wasn't involved. Another great track that comes to mind when I think is "Twitch", a story of an unfortunate teen mom.  In contrast to Uzowuru's production on projects such as the calm Paisley Palm Trees, he packs more a of punch on Winter In Prague. "Traffic", "Black Opera" & "Matlock" (you can download the instrumentals here) are examples of Michael's instrumentation matching the intensity of Vince's delivery. Vince & Michael's affiliate SK LaFlare (hear "Ariana Grande" from his Lost Atlantis Vol. 1 mixtape) makes his presence known on throughout the tape.
