I was thinking about Nina being so young in her original story (11 is an ugly number and she'd be even younger than Sally, and so I was grumbling about it a bit,) so I accidentally went down a bit of a rabbit hole, found the original creator's DeviantArt page, and... CHAT WHAT

I think most people know about the Eyeless Jack thing, but her never being in love with Jeff is totally new to me 😭😭 especially her whole thing with being an obsessed Jeff fangirl...

Some other points of interest: They say some interesting things in this DA post about their motivation behind creating Nina and their experience with the fandom, and they also rewrote the Nina story in 2021 (this version seems to only be in Spanish at the moment).
