Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 4 Review
Anya vies for better grades while Freddy tries to better his chances with a potential girlfriend in the latest edition of Spy x Family. Read our quick review of Season 2 Episode 4.
Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 3 was a snooze-fest, but thankfully things are back to being fun in the new edition. Titled “The Pastry of Knowledge/The Informant’s Great Romance Plan II”, episode 4 is split into two parts, while the first follows Anya’s shenanigans in her school, the second half involves Loid Forger’s funny informant Freddy’s quest to locate a missing cat.

I watched episode 29 of Spy X Family earlier today, but it got really cold where I'm at because it started to snow, so I just wanted to stay warm play some more Super Mario Wonder with my brother since he was off today...!! 😁 I'm a little bit warmer now, so let's talk about episode 29!! 😆
I FREAKING LOVED IT!!😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Today's episode adapted Missions 42 & 43, I think they hit out of the park!! 😆 I adored how they animated both chapters in this episode and here are some of parts...!!: 😄
Anya eating the macaron and getting a power up: 🤣
Now, I thought this scene was already funny in the manga, but I think that what they did in the anime was EVEN MORE HILARIOUS!! 🤣 Just seeing Anya basically go Super Saiyan in anime is just COMEDY GOLD in my eyes...!! 👏😂
Yor being attacked by cats:
In the manga, it was just in one small panel...
...But in the anime, they had Yor going around in circles (like in the gif above), which was both adorable and funny...!! 😆

They translated this scene from the manga EXTREMELY WELL!! (Here's the manga version: 😁)
I just think that this episode was very well made and I truly appreciate that...!! 😄
I only noticed one change again (I'm probably still not used to reading subtitles and paying attention to the screen at the same time, so what ever else I miss I'll most likely see it in the dub when I watch it 😌), which was actually something other people have all ready pointed out...:
This image of assassins. In the manga, there are fewer assassins and one that looks like Yor behind the speech bubble... While in the anime, there are a lot more assassins and the one that looks like Yor is gone...! 😲
I honestly think that it's a cool change because all the assassins (expect for the one that looked like Yor) that were already present in the manga and the new ones that were added in the anime could potentially show up one day in the series (but of course, I won't say if any of them have shown up or not...!👌😉)
Anyway, I think that about does it for my review on episode 29 of Spy X Family!! And if the family gathering that me and my family were gonna go to gets cancelled because of the snow, then I'll most likely be here tomorrow for the new chapter of the manga... So until then, I'll catch you SXF anime fans next week and see you manga fans possibly tomorrow...!! BYE!! 👋😄

Hugh Jackman will be reprising his role as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, much to the surprise and delight of, well, everyone. Hannibal, which ended on August 29, 2015, trended again because sure why not? So I had a thought while re-reading Spy X Family for the millionth time to celebrate the first episode of the anime dropping,
What if Operation Strix has a secondary goal of getting Loid/Twilight to retire?
The original goal of Strix is still getting close to Donovan Desmond and all that jazz, but the other part of the process is to reintroduce Loid to normal life.
I mean, why else would they give him that mission but not have a wife and kid lined up?
It’s just a thought, but it’s a headcannon that I’m liking.
