Well this bamboo fibre is much more finicky than any wool and really wants to be thread.

Been so busy during the tour (with other stuff... Like moving :p), I haven't really had much chance to spin any. But today I said frick it all! I wanna play with some wooly fluff! So I grabbed my latest fibre acquisition and blended up a gradient. I can apparently not help myself. If I can do a gradient of it, you know that I will try. And then threw that at my medieval spindles.

This is Shetland, corriedale and merino respectively from Maruchi Fibers. Just a quick little sample spin of about 5 grams. Very un-scientific in my blending, no weights or calculation, just purely feel. The plan is to do a 2-ply, where the colors match up as little as possible, but the two plies will still follow the same color progression.

It is truly a luxury to work with pre-prepped fiber. That I haven't had to wash, dye, comb and card myself first haha!
