The Big Help is a community outreach program made famous in 1994 by Nickelodeon. Kids who volunteered in their community reached out to let Nickelodeon know what they were doing. The network contacted some of them to create commercials for Nickelodeon about various volunteer opportunities to inspire them to be BIG HELPERS IN ACTION.

Nickelodeon would hold a two day event (Starting Saturday, October 18th, and end Sunday October 19th) and had a huge turn out of various celebrities.

On this day, Aaliyah would meet and greet fans, and performed her hit song, "The One I Gave My Heart To".
