The cutesy Aperture animations and the three(!) voice actors! #I've completely fallen in love with GLaD's P1 design but honestly what could possibly compare to her P2 design she's so pretty <3 <3 #Stepping over her corpse to wake her up I'm normal I'm fine #And that we start in Test Chamber 1 and then fast track to 19 and end up in the toxic goo ravine fjdlsakfjsdf #I'm Fine I Swear #I forgot so many little details like the floor falling out or the buzz of the portal device (don't like but! Learned a new thing! - #- If while you're carrying Wheatley and you want the buzzing to stop just ''set him down'' - since he can't be set down lol #It cancels the noise :) Much nicer on the ears) #And Wheatley's voice actor ♪ His little flusters and chuckles hehe he's quite personably #I am So excited to get to the audio commentary fdjsalkjfdsf I found it and I'm biting biting biting #I have taken so many screenshots don't even get me started #Like all told for Portal 1 I probably took what like maybe 50 total? I'm probably already at 20 lol #Oh and I picked up a turret and it exploded on me :( I'm so distressed #I only want to knock over turrets I don't want them to explode!! #WPVG #WPMC #Minecraft #Big Explore #It's already quite a bit different just from this! #I built a wool farm to speed up my carpet production #I also don't know why I take most of my pictures as night I guess I'm busy during the day #Probably not the safest since Phantoms are usually gunning for me #I stand on top of my mob farm to take the pictures - I hadn't built it yet for the first one #As evidenced by being able to see that side of the island and there being no mob spawner lol #You can't see my Nether Portal island either unfortunately #Or the Water Temple! It's off the upper right #Part of why it's taken me so long to terraform over there - I keep getting mining fatigue despite being Plenty of blocks away! Sheesh #I do want to keep it mostly as is as far as beach-grass goes but I'll probably widen the grass area a bit #And of course clean up all the stone grossness that I dug up under the sandstone hills #I'm considering keeping the upper right at least a liiiiiitle bumpity as a water feature #I can always change my mind later

Unfortunately, as much as I love this mod - I mean, it’s beautiful! Just look at it! - it does have a game-crashing bug D: For some reason skeletons can’t get jobs, it crashes the game lol, so as much as I’d love to have Gaster in the Science career, he is a stay-at-home parent! That’s fine, nannies suck in TS2 lol. There’s also only a few clothing options but I’m gonna try some poking around to at least expand upon what’s there already :D

I ended up using the stretchSkeleton cheat - hehe, skeleton - to make Papyrus a bit taller and Sans a bit smaller. It’s only really noticeable in their ankles, and their animations are a bit misaligned, but other than that it’s very cute! :D Sans is also chubby but it’s kinda hard to tell :0

Also, and I did not edit or plan this - they naturally started falling into their relationship dynamics! Gaster and Sans have a much lower Short Term Relationship here than Gaster and Papyrus haha

There's only so much I can do with them until I get them some Slightly better clothes haha #You can see I didn't even bother making them a proper house in this lot lol #I also keep accidentally making just ''normal'' Sims in this town - this is meant to be a test town to see clothes and mods in action! #I have made a couple more skeletons dotted around town just to double-triple-quadruple check about getting jobs and yeahhh #One went so sideways that her house caught fire and she died so I had to reload - it was a whole thing lol #But other than the limited clothes and inability to hold down gainful employment - lol - skeletons seem to work just fine :) #Chubbiness on kids is like - barely different pft #There Is a difference but it's so subtle! I guess it's fine #I know there are ways to make specific outfits their own body shape mesh - I wonder if that would be easier or harder for skeletons haha #It's not like I'd be changing the body shape just the way the clothes settle around it #Though I think there is actually a ''physical'' body it's just invisible? Undertale good game

#WPUT #WPVG #It feels so silly to be playing it finally Now after so long haha #I've put my Pacifist run away for the moment - it's still my first playthrough and I'd like to keep it that way #But I finally went and looked up how to have ''multiple saves'' and first of all #Lightweight games my beloved <3 <3 Being able to drag-and-drop files and it just works makes me So happy #I feel the same way about renaming Sims 2 town folders and just Having all my old towns saved ehehehe <3 <3 #So yeah! I backed up my Pacifist run and now have a Neutral run going - planning to play around with resetting #But even just casually - I missed an animation (one of Papyrus' weird physics things lol) and needed to do a soft reset to get it #i.e. quitting and going back to my last save #And Papyrus noticed :] #Of course I expect it from Flowey! And I ''know'' that the font brothers are weird lol but actually experiencing it ♪ #That was one I wasn't actually expecting #I was even prepped for the handshake with Sans when I reset! Big day for the Sims 2

#WPVG #WPTS2 #The Sims #The Sims 2 #Things accomplished: Made ZEX and DAX and had them fall in love <3 #Then moved in the Captain :3c For shenanigans #He looks like pirate fic!Captain lol #Made a set of I BELIEVE classic green alien boxers (lol) #And upgraded the Vargases' church so there is now a place to pee #And also the confessional booths are prettier - curtains! - and there's a little play area for kids and toddlers #I was gonna add a balcony but the windows got in the way :( Next time - in the real town when I actually move them in #I've also been working on the Vargases' clothes in the background - I am actively choosing to be very extra about Scriabin's coat lol #Does it even count if it doesn't have the wrist and waist ties tho - I think no #Which means hopefully! Soon!! I will actually have the correct clothes to move them into my actual real town!! #I went ahead and put their lots down hehe #Also planning on doing a Whole Thing with Squee - I've heard there's a way of setting up specific adoptions by timing CPS visits? #I haven't tried it myself and I'll make sure to save a version of him separately just in case but like #I think if I have his parents neglect him and he gets seized and then I have the Vargases call to adopt him he'll be like - queued first? #I think that's how that works... Starting with ZEX nad DAX! I moved them in by themselves first and had them fall in love and, forgot, to take any screenshots of it lol oops. They are In Love, but not committed :) I’m also really silly-pleased with how they turned out haha, using Zarla’s VUX retextures as well as these red horns and Namekian antennae haha - anything to make them just a little more alien!

Moved the Captain in and he immediately rolled a Want to flirt with ZEX lol. You’re so judgey Captain not like I intentionally made it so he and ZEX would be attracted to each other but not so much him and DAX cough

Talana in the Sims 2!

I don’t have any of the “correct” accessories and that is stopping me exactly 0% lol - I love this galaxy blush so much, it’s even blue and matches her skin tone! :D

Initially I wasn’t actually sure what to do for her clothes because I didn’t have anything suitably sexy enough, but as I mulled it over I realized hey, didn’t Revenge of the Jedi come out in in ‘83? And SCII came out in ‘92....huh. I’d still like to do my own retexture, but it’s a decent base to work from!

Of the neighbors that initially came to greet her, only DAX was another SCII member, so I had her greet just him, hoping they’d be friends :D They did not! >:0 DAX was rude to her immediately! DAX!

Interestingly enough, I had only had her interact with DAX at this point, but she had seen multiple other people while I took her clothes-shopping earlier - she didn’t greet any of them, but they’re still stored in her hidden memories! I just think that’s a really cool design :D She doesn’t have a relationship with them, but she does have eyes! It’s little touches like this that make me love this game

I decided after they cooled down that I could try and have them get along by slowly building their relationship over the phone - they probably would get along better if they didn’t have to look at each other lol

Overview of the party - we’ve got Mariella on the ballet bar, ZEX and the Captain talking about robbery, the Curator in her bathing suit chatting with Talana, a broken shower in the middle there, Stanley and Phoenix in the hot tub together, DAX stepping out into the backyard, and Miles eating some chips at the bar. Pretty sick party :D

Something about these three from such different games all hanging out in a hot tub together is very funny to me lol

I am still holding (most) judgement until I actually meet them lol #So like most things with SCII - I'll get there someday! #And as always it doesn't Actually change my thoughts about Syreen as what they are - I like them a lot! :D - just development etc. #ANYway lol #Jocasta was really fun to play :D #I don't usually go for a Sim's LTW - usually too many per household or I get bored lol - so it was fun as a challenge! #And all the steps to make it reality for her! #Making friends was definitely the biggest factor #DAX why >:0 But he came around eventually lol #Her and the Captain were quite fun to play against each other as well haha #I'm also way more used to having couples be in the same household so having to rely on the popout to see his Wants was different #She'd sometimes get bored by herself and roll the Date Want so I'd be like ''Yeah alright'' lol #They're not committed or anything but they do like each other a lot :) #And for the record the party was awesome lol #Pretty sure I got the highest possible score - I love how janky parties are in TS2 lol #So dissimilar to the date mechanic! Too big I guess haha #Just so fun to see everyone interact! That's the best part of the Sims haha #I am tempted to move a Sarah and Jocasta in next door sometime :0 #Although I don't have a human uniform for male or female Sims yet lol #Then again I just stuck the Captain in a pirate coat :P #He's cosplaying! The first play session went rather well

#The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe #WPTSP #Yes I played for five hours at one stint and got almost half the achievements what of it #I wanted to - even though I had just - replay all of the endings from the HD Remix - not counting the Real Person Ending #Because I see it as the perfect bookend - Freedom to start Real Person to finish and that's that for the play session #I didn't even get that far I got all the way through the 14ish endings from the HD Remix and then went to check out the new stuff and #It's so much more than I could've guessed. I'm so glad I stayed away from spoilers #Yes of course there were the things I couldn't avoid and momentarily had a ''Ah yes'' or ''Of course'' but the rest #I had to take a break to eat and stretch and not be Stanley for a bit but I still fully intend to jump back in after a short rest #Also some things from the new content I think I'm gonna need to Talk about later lol - not in a bad way!! So y’know how how every Sim made as an adult starts out with the generic “Mystery Sim” as their teenage love?

(Which I mean. Is fine. Personally I’d prefer nothing but it’s not bad as such lol)

Well I finally dug around in the SimPE memory tab to see what I could mess with without - hopefully - breaking anything this time, and well :3

And as further proof that that wasn’t just him getting rejected after I put them on the lot (though “Very First Kiss” is only a teen option and I made them both as adults) -

I modified his very first memory to be meeting Dex!

I also gave him this very rare memory of being attracted to Dex for funsies hehe ♥

#WPTS2 #WPVG #The Sims #The Sims 2 #I love SimPE <3 #Apparently that ''Attracted to'' memory can be flagged in the game but it's really hard to come by! #From the very cursory glance I took around it seems like it's initiated by seeing a Sim - not necessarily meeting them - with 2+ attraction #So at least two lightning bolts - and Sims tend only to notice other Sims when they use ''Scope Room'' #The chances of seeing another Sim with enough for 2+ bolts is pretty low admittedly haha - it's cute tho! I like it :D #And I especially like the idea of Max meeting Dex and being like ''Oh. OH'' lol #Oh I just realized the ''Be Rejected'' memory is green oops - I'll have to go back in and see what setting I missed lol #I'm just pleased I was able to mess with them at all! :D Definitely planning to do this with the Vargases and the ''official'' Helix boys ♪ #I've moved Max in! I found a custom house in my lots that had basically the exact driveway that I had envisioned so I had to use it ♥ #The house itself could probably use some work - honestly I'd like to sit down and make a floorplan of how I see the Helix house sometime #But the point is!! I can make and modify memories!! Getting the Speedrun achievement in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is a very stable and completely glitchless experience

Okay so this is how Stanley’s door is supposed to look (don’t mind the boxes)

And here’s how it looked while I was attempting this achievo. What was I doing to cause this glitch? ‘Cause believe you me, it is repeatable - I was hitting Forward/W during the loading page so I’d start walking as soon as it dropped me in. It really hated that lol

As you can see from this one, it tried to load the Whiteboard Ending but I was faster, which ended up locking me outside the “closed” door 427

I’m also not sure what those little guys are down there, as I couldn’t look at them directly - it actually looked like two rooms that were clipping through each other, but I didn’t see any particularly recognizable features

This was the short hallway right to the Two Doors room - I stepped through it too quickly so it only half-loaded the short hallway, but this time it didn’t lock me out so I was able to step back into the glitch!

And then I fell through the floor again

But hey, I did get it!

I'd still prefer not to run into them but I can't say I'm not at least somewhat entertained haha #I'd be really curious if anyone else had these same kinds of glitches #Oh yeah and I had just come off the heels of getting the same achievement in the HD Remix and absolutely Zero glitches in that one #I was able to get both :) I'm pleased! #I'm surprised? that there are more people who've gotten it in Ultra Deluxe even tho HD Remix has been out for so much longer?? :0 #That just leaves Commitment for both of them and then TSPUD's 10 years away achievement lol - I'm not ready for that yet at all #I also stumbled on Ultra Deluxe's 3 Button thing????
