Okay but i found it's interesting the changes they had made like:

Evan and Bronwyn being together already (maybe it is to make it more dramatic when Nate and her start to hang out more)

Keeley and Coop's relationship, i think that was a nice choice of K already knowing, although idk if i like too much about the changes with the relationship with Kris (my beloved)

Changing Nate's secret it's making me wonder what they are going to do later(maybe about his mom?)

Addy is going to have her sister? That's all im wondering after those 3 eps, like i wanna knooow does Ashton exists? Addy needs her pls

Also idk how to feel about that Maeve storyline... It's...weird.

Last 2 eps

Ms Avery and Vanessa's plot was an addition that was interesting, and probably what motivates V (also clout) to be all sus at the end of the series with what happened with Jake

I'm glad that contrary to the book Coop was able to come out and not force to (tho i would have liked it more if Kris weren't that pushy-at least it felt that way to me in the previous eps), sad that his dad was still a homophobe, i wish coop's grandma and his bro were more present in these last eps

Sad that they butchered Addy's whole character arc, like ???? wwwhyyyy😭 (i feel like she did it btw the Jake 🔫)

Big F to Nate and the parents he got, specially his mom, like bro i was so sad for this guy whose parents never asked him whether he had done or not, nor did they believe he was innocent, i wonder whether his mom stayed

I'm still sad that we lost maeve and bronwyn relationship, like they were my fave investigators sis duo, and these last 2 eps they just kept drifting apart until that ending

Also sad that janae and maeve's relationship just disappeared like i get it they probably got apart bc the whole bay4 and her agreeing about simon's involvement in his own death

I think they made a big mistake with the way they handled jake character, like they should have made more subtle things than just people telling addy she was better off without him , like sure i knew about how shitty he was and the twist bc of the book but during the book you get little things that make u weary about jake and when u get back to reading you get those subtle hints

Idk if i want a 2nd season honest djdjsj

Okay so 4-6 eps

I didn't comment before but changing Cooper's race was something that could have been interesting if the show didn't overlook at it sometimes and in this eps they just kept going back and forth, honest i got scared when the police went.

The search warrant was and interesting bc addy was the only one that didn't look like they were actually sus about her, which could be about her race or the fact they never actually consider her a threat, which got reflected when she cracked.

I can't say if i liked it or not, i just can say I'm interested on seeing more about Janae, like compared to the book when we only got a few mentions here and there until she became key to all. I must say I'm glad they didn't go to the girl underdog in love with the underdog guy, but the guy is in love with the popular girl. Still, i don't like very much Maeve x Simon thingy sorry.

Adding to the last, i guess they decided to change the whole background of Simon and Maeve's relationship for smth more juicy bc the whole making fun of her when she got drunk on her first party after she entered in recession didn't happen, and it wouldn't have the same impact as her sending him nudes and Bronwyn pissed about that and being scared for her sister.

In these 3 eps i always had a moment where i went omg poor Addy always getting ignored was getting frustrating, i get no one was really sus about her but c'mon( the water park scene broo chills, i thought i was in scream for a sec). Also i hope the last 2 eps shows her full arc about being able to be her own persona like the book did, here we still see her struggle with her self worth, especially in the end of the 6th ep.

This point is just to highlight the 2 moments with olivia rodrigo's songs: chef's kiss (although i was laughing when the 4 started to dance to good 4 u )

This is me complaining bc i miss Ashton my beloved

This is just to say, although i appreciate that we got more moments with Kris and Coop, I'm still bitter that they changed the whole dynamic of them, i get it you want to emphasize the 4 of them are always lying but i hate that affected theirs and Maeve and Bronwyn's relationships

I was expecting Evan and Bronwyn break up that's all.

Did i gasp when Nate's mom showed up even tho i knew it? Yes i did

That moment with Kris and his final, i felt seen, the amount of times it happened when i was studying.

Nate parents, they kinda suck but like i get it but also makes me sad that everyone always assumes the worst of him, kinda like no one listens to addy

It was interesting the plot of kyle (also kinda funny that everyone that has a romantic relationship with coop has a name started with k)

TJ being a sus was a good red herring

The hint of jake simon relationship

Can i just say i still found it hilarious that during six eps the bayview 4 kept fighting, being sus and lying each other? Like

*smth gets revealed*

The Bayview 4 meeting: 'WHY DID YOU LIE?' 'I DON'T TRUST YOU'

cooper being mood whenever Bronwyn and Nate kept having their couple quarrels

Im sad for Keeley but babe pls *hugs*

The whole trading secrets plot it's going to be smth for the next 2 eps huh
