Why is Obito's height and weight listed as 182cm/70.3kg while Tobi is 175cm/55.9kg. THATS THE SAME FUCKING DUDE HOW DID OBITO SHRINK HIMSELF?????

Imma be real, I don’t remember the end well enough to comment lol. Sasuke wanted to kill the kage, he and Naruto fight, he comes back to Konoha for some reason, idk, it’s all muddled. Sasuke shouldn’t have come back to that village, that’s all I’m gonna say.

I’ve recently been thinking about how a lot of fans feel Obito didn’t have a good enough reason to carry out the Tsuki no me, so I think instead of having Rin’s death be the main reason for him doing what he did I would make him go through/witness more traumatic things as a result of the shinobi system. Rin’s death could be the straw the broke the camel’s back. I rambled about some possible ideas under the cut.

When Madara took in Obito, he told him he was going to have to pay him back, right? Maybe Mdr has him do some missions for him that would further expose him to the horrors of war. Whether or not the events are orchestrated by Mdr is whatever. Obito could be monitored/accompanied by Zetsu and/or Guruguru so he couldn’t escape Mdr.

More specifically, Mdr could show Obito that Konoha was participating in some heinous acts. Their “Will of Fire” nationalist BS could’ve also blinded him to shit they were doing, y’know? Show him the state of Amegakure. Show him how other small villages were impacted by the war. Show him the remains of Uzushiogakure. I know Obito was like ‘being the hokage is dumb’ during the 4th war, but in the end he still thought the position was meaningful. He needs to realize completely that the kage aren’t great.

Once Obito is disillusioned to the thought of being Hokage and shown just how badly peace is needed, then push him over edge by war personally hurting him: Rin commits suicide. Side note: It’d also be cool if Obito didn’t so hardcore blame Kakashi for Rin’s death, but rather blame the government for starting the war that killed his friend. I get that Kakashi promised to protect Rin and failed, but I just want him to care more about how Rin’s death also hurt Kakashi. He was so determined to get back to Rin and Kakashi, so please show that he cares for both his friends in that unfortunate moment. :(

Unrelated to Mdr, I know Obito was orphaned (I guess he had a grandma in the anime?), so you could’ve made the death of his parents have a bigger impact on him. It doesn’t have to be Sakumo grade bad, but I mean the death of Orochimaru’s parents made him unhinged so why not give Obito similar trauma?
