Ok so, before we begin, allow me to introduce what brought back the concept
The CW powerpuff girl live action reboot’s script leaked, and it is! A script! The CW is a tv company responsible for such shows as Riverdale (to my recollection, aka the edgy reboot of the Archie Comics) and Supernatural, which is something I didn’t think I needed to bring up on this blog!
There’s also another show I should mention, that Winx live action reboot on Netflix I don’t remember the name of... but it’s also a atrocious (mostly due to the whitewashing of the cast)
Shows of these brands usually follow similar steps; subjecting teenage characters (played by grown adults) to sensationalist topics while being. So weird. And really “OOOO WE’RE SO HIP WITH THE KIDS” moments.
Basically; it’s a fun time for live action reboots of children’s media. So lets see if we can make an edgy, atrocious reboot of Lalaloopsy! A franchise that’s already getting a reboot
I’ll be talking about a possible Riverdale-like Lalaloopsy live action reboot, as such, there will be some possibly triggering contents under the cut, so proceed with caution with the mention of drugs, all sorts of bigotry, death, general predatory behavior towards underage characters, etc etc.
I’m taking the piss, this will be incomprehensible. Lets begin.
-For starters, the hypothetical live action reboot would follow the characters as teens, so Lala prep but the boys are here too for some drama
-The characters look nothing like their dolls, except for SOME dyed hair, a bit of color coordination for the outfits and tons of blush on the cheeks.
-Spot is played by a white Actor but they pull a Netflix and make it so the Spot chatacter ISNT actually spot! Instead, not-Spot is Spot’s long distant relative. They are basically the same character personality wise, though.
-Theres a love triangle between Jewel, Storm E and Forest, just for some extra drama (at the end Storm E would probably end up with Forest anyway, they just want some juicy queerbait between she and Jewel)
-There’s a lot of drug cartels in these series’. Jewel’s dad probably runs a drug cartel.
-Patch is the token gay best friend character who kisses a guy on screen twice (maximum) before meeting a terrible end because he was actually a drug addict and overdoses
-Wacky is also apart of the drug cartel cause look at him
-Dot becomes the “angry black woman” stereotype because of course she does :(
-There’s a lot of serious scenes that are ruined because the characters are named shit like Peanut so ofc it takes away any leverage
-Jewel is given some sort of unnamed mental illness that is handled horribly because of course it is
-Storm E and Cloud E are secretly twins and their father is horrible (and he’s probably apart of the drug cartel) so he kicked Storm E out and continues to abuse Cloud E
-The only wlw couple out of all these women ends up being, like
Pillow and Rosy
So good for them, but they get no screen time! And they get sexualized because! WLW!
-Also keep in the mind the characters are still minors (high schoolers) but naturally there’s gonna be. A lot of 18+ jokes and scenes 🤮
-There’s a plotline of Forest’s maple syrup being like, drugged, and it’s taken way too seriously
-Ace dropped out of fourth grade, to run drugs, to support his nana. He has never experienced the epic highs and lows of high school football.
-Fatphobia towards Crumbs by the characters and also by the show itself
-Random musical episodes
-Cloud E gets horrible CGI wings and halo as some sort of Season 5 special reveal that. DOESNT get hinted at. At all.
-Sunny punches Mittens for no reason. Sunny and Berry ALSO dropped out of the fourth grade, to run drugs, to support their nana, and thus have never experienced the epic highs and lows of high school football-
-there’s a gross plotline of, like, idk Bea being Groomed by her teacher but for some reason it’s not as frowned upon/taken seriously as it should be
-Jewel is British
-The poster for the series looks like this

Same Sea, Same Soul, Same Heart
For wlw week, I’m posting the second chapter of my pirate au!!!
Danna is the daughter of a noble in Gatlon city.  Gatlon is ruled by King Hugh and King Simon, members of the Renegades, the gruop that saved it from the anarchists and Ace Anarchy.  Nova is the niece of Ace Anarchy and is the worlds most feared and dangerous pirate.  She kidnaps Danna as ransom, and while they travel back to Danna’s father the two girls begin to realize they weren’t so different after all…

link to Prologue
wc: 1207
Danna woke to see men flooding her room.  It was dark, and she was unable to get a good look at them, but judging by their outlines and smell, they weren’t average servants.  They yanked her out of her bed and clapped a hand over her mouth before she could say a word.
Danna tried to break herself free, but their grip was too strong.  She butted her head forward, and heard it crack satisfyingly against someone else's.  Someone uttered a low curse.
“Shut it,” Another voice whispered viciously.  “Captain’ll have our heads if we don’t bring her in.”
“Sorry,” a voice muttered back.
“I’m moving my hand off your mouth,” the first voice whispered.  Danna felt the cold kiss of a knife at her throat.  “One sound, and you’re a dead woman, you hear?”
Danna nodded.  If there was only one attacker, she probably would have stood a chance, but five?  She’d be dead before she could make a move.
“Glad we’re in understandment.  Now, you’re going to walk downstairs, without alerting anyone to our presence.  You will go directly to our horses out back, and get on.  Is that clear?”
Danna nodded again.  “Can I…” she mumbled, then stopped.  Normally she wasn’t this pathetic!  Why couldn’t she get a handle on herself?  She breathed in, and out.
“Speak up, girl.”
“Can I change?  It isn’t proper for me to go about wearing my night clothes.”  She almost laughed, but held it back.  She didn’t give a shit about what was improper and not.
The men exchanged glances.  Danna’s eyes were beginning to adjust to the darkness, and she could start to see their faces.
“Fine.  But make it quick.  Captain doesn’t like to be kept waiting.”
They released her, and Danna grabbed her dress off the floor.  She had thrown it there the night before, after her father had tried to convince her to start looking at suitors.  As if she would ever even have a say in who she wanted to be with.  The conversation ended, as always, badly.  She had stormed off, her mother had cried, and her father had screamed until his throat was raw.  She had ripped off the dress in a rage.  And now she was grateful it was here.
Danna slipped behind the changing screen, and shrugged the dress on.  She didn’t bother tightening the corset, she hated that thing anyways.
The dress was simple.  A light orange color, with black flowers speckling the sleeves.  It hung low over her feet, and the neck swooped slightly, exposing  her collarbone to the cold air.  But Danna didn’t want this dress because of the design.  She wanted the small daggers slipped into pockets on the inside of the full skirt.  She didn’t know if she would need them, but they would be a comfort to her regardless.
She stepped out from behind the screen, and two of her captors yanked her arms behind her, and fastened them loosely with a hard rope.  They tugged her forward, and Danna walked through her home, in complete silence, their breaths the only noises heard.  The servants door was open, and another unfamiliar man was standing guard outside.
“Good.  You’ve got her,” he said when they finally arrived.  “Captain’ll be happy.  Let’s go.”  They tried to move, but Danna drove her feet into the ground, and glared at them.
“I’m not going anywhere,” she hissed.
“Come on lass.  Just make this easier for yourself.  You’ll be here again in no time.  Once your father pays the ransom, you’ll be on your merry way.”
“No.”  Danna yanked her arms free of the rope, and grabbed a sword off one of the men’s belts.  She swung it wildly, and opened her mouth, ready to scream for help.  A form tackled her, knocking her to the ground.  Her breath left her chest with an oomph, and she gasped, trying to get air back in her chest.  She lay breathless on the ground, trying to summon enough energy to get back up.
“Cut it a bit close there,” one of the men muttered.
“Sorry.  You want to do it next time?” A new voice said sarcastically.
“What should we do with her?  She’s not going peacefully.”
“Knock her out, and tie her to a saddle.  She should still be asleep when we get back to captain.”
“Sounds good.”  A man approached her, and lifted her to her feet.  He forced her jaw open, and poured the contents of a vial down her throat.  Danna tried to retch it back up, but the drug’s warm embrace was already taking her.
---
Nova rested her hands on the ship's railing.  She could hear her crew drinking and telling stories down below, but she didn’t join them.
She gazed at the far-off dot, the small rowboat with the noble girl inside.  She was not supposed to kidnap her.  Her instructions were to capture the prince.  Her uncle had been quite clear.  Capture the prince, and use him for leverage  Not some random noble girl.  She was useless.  Her father would pay the ransom, and nothing would change.  But Nova was tired of following her uncle’s orders.  He only wanted to regain his throne.  He didn’t care about anything else.  But Nova did.  She was happy with her crew and the sea.  The sea.  Nova smiled.  She loved it.  The endless blue spread out before her.  The salty wind, the crisp air.  She loved it more than she loved anything.
Hopefully, her uncle would never even know that Nova had disobeyed him.  It wasn’t like they couldn’t use more money.  They always needed funds.  So, she could always use that in her defense.  But this girl… Danna Bell. She would not fetch a high price.  Which was stupid, Nova thought.  From watching this girl, it was obvious she was smart, and talented, and kind, and beautiful.  Nova thought she should be more than the prince.  What was the prince?  Just another boring old pawn who would follow the Council’s orders.  Danna didn’t seem like the type to follow orders.  That was what probably intrigued Nova the most.  She was rebellious, and fierce, and not afraid.  And pretty. Nova bushed slightly.  She had been watching Danna for some time, trying to figure out if it was worth the time kidnapping her, and holding her for ransom.  And Danna was absolutely gorgeous.  But that wasn’t important.  Nova was abducting an innocent girl.  Not that she felt bad about that, she was a pirate after all.  But it was foolish to think that they could become friends.  Or more than that.  She sighed.
“Who are you really,” Nova whispered to the night sky.  “Who are you, Danna Bell, and what are you worth to me.”
Nova glanced up, at the pale moon, just a sliver of light available.  The moon still shone brightly, as it always had.  The peaceful brightness comforted Nova.  No matter what happened, the moon would still shine, and the sun would rise again.  Her actions would not change that.  She needn't worry.  Everything would work out exactly the way it should.  Nova took one last glance at the moving waters.  She smiled slightly, then headed back inside, to join her crew.

Amalgam Cybertronia Neutralist Headcanons
Gender, sexuality, and romance edition. Reflected/displayed more explicitly in their human holoforms (which will be in a different post after I can draw them all). In bot form, sticky interfacing is involved.
Not sure if spoilers are really spoilers, considering some of them go into the pairing-centric AmCyb spin-off (which is not necessarily canon to AmCyb).
GABLE
Cis female, lesbian/WLW. Been in a few relationships with fellow anti-war femmes, but settled down in queerplatonic relationship (QPR) with Underfoot as “the moms” to the three not-as-responsible Neuts.
.
UNDERFOOT
Nonbinary, only slightly feminine. Pansexual romance-neutral aro. Currently in QPR with Gable, keeping themselves and the darlings alive and hidden. Had a brief fling with Wheeljack - it ended after Decepticons kidnapped her from the Autobots again. Thoughts on Dreadwing? Primarily: “What a nerd.” Secondarily: “It happened once in a dream.” Would be open to the possibility if she weren’t busy.
.
STANDBY
Queer male, gay/MLM. Fancied Orion Pax, naturally - but acknowledged that Orion is way above his league. As mentioned in a previous headcanon post, Stan has the hots for Soundwave, possibly also Shockwave. Had a few casual, no-strings-attached flings (in his holoform) with gay men in Australia.
.
SHRIKE
Queer trans female, pansexual. Had a messed-up history which gave rise to her seemingly unnatural fighting/survival instincts. With her stature and dangerous energy, she was one of her squadron members’ favorite partners to blow off excess charge with. After Mistake and self-imposed exile, usually self-serviced with spike when completely alone. “If Dreadwing calls Skyquake my boyfriend one more time, I am going to personally rip out his blue-and-yellow eyebrows.” Although if when Skyquake officially becomes “the boyfriend”, later Predaking becomes “the guy she tells [him] not to worry about”.
.
MANTICORE
Queer female, sex-neutral ace, demiromantic. “ADHD athlete, ace of diamonds. I like baseball, too.” Most of Manty’s relationship troubles arose from gladiators pressuring her into interfacing. Her own ideal relationship would involve emotional bonding and basis before going further. She adores Parker and Hardison’s relationship in Leverage. Began shipping Shrike with Skyquake around Chapter 6 of Amalgam Cybertronia. “I’m not the only one who sensed chemistry there, am I?”
.
LUMINYR (honorary Neut)
Cis female, bisexual. As Polymeria: Had an unrequited crush on Shrike, which she hid under cheer and good humor (practiced because of discomfort with war). First approached Shrike for interfacing only after other squadmates already had. But while Shrike usually went with the partners’ preferences, Polymeria was the first to truly care about what Shrike enjoys most. Almost-hopeless romantic. Used to talk a lot about “life after the war” (secretly fantasized about a future with Shrike, exploring places and flying together). Used to be turned on by how scary the Murderbird can be, but she didn’t know about the saying “be careful what you wished for”.
As Luminyr: Sure, Predaking is a hottie. But her thirst for a particular flyer’s spike transcends lifetimes. Skyquake ain’t bad either, not gonna lie...
.
Birdbrain: “Skyquake/Shrike/Luminyr/Predaking polycule? Sign me TF up!”

What characters can be submitted?
In short, whatever groups are underrepresented in the media. This includes, but is not limited to, the following groups:
LGBT+ members
POC characters.
Characters with disabilities
Characters with mental illnesses.
Addiction
Religious characters*
*This will be on a case by case basis; if the character is, say a Christian in America, they will not be accepted as they are already thought to be the norm. However, if a character is from a region where it is underrepresented (ex. Christians in India) they may be included.
Are there any characters that can’t be submitted?
Yes. representation has to be canon, number one. Non-canon examples, such as queerbaiting, will not be accepted. Please remember that fanon =/= canon. Although some headcanons are popular within a fandom, they do not count as actual representation - and this doesn’t mean the blog doesn’t love those headcanons, but this blog is about canon rep that people can watch and explicitly see rep in/is known for this representation. Examples include:
Dean Winchester from Supernatural - not a canon mlm character
Harry Potter - not a canon desi character
Peter Parker from the MCU - does not canonically have ADHD
Characters who are heavily represented - if a character is a white Christian man, for example, they are already represented heavily in the media. While they can obviously be important to you, they are not meant for this blog.
Characters who have threatened, attempted, or did rape another character.
Pedophilic characters, including “non-acting” characters.
Characters involved in hate groups (such as Nazis, KKK, etc.). For superhero/fantasy groups - if the character had to do it for a job, or was brainwashed, or realized they were wrong and stopped, they may be submitted, but characters who knowingly and willingly went along may not be submitted.
These are submissions that I will not accept under any circumstances; if I am aware/made aware that these characters fall under any of these categories, the submission will be deleted. I also reserve the right to deleted submissions that may also be triggering/offensive that aren’t mentioned here.
Does the representation have to be canon?
Yes. There are many blogs who will take non-canon submissions (who will be added soon), but we want to celebrate the characters who are canonically representing specific groups. Therefore, we will not accept queerbaiting, or any other implied subtext - we would like canon examples as a reference for people who want to see themselves represented.
In this case, canon counts as:
Explicitly stated in-canon: If the content specifically has the character say: “I am ____”, that is the most ideal form of canon representation, or if it’s stated by another character (*in terms of they know the character is this, instead of speculating). This tends to supersede all other forms of representation (ex. if a character says in-show they’re pan but an actor or writer later says they consider them bi, the pan label stands, as that was what was shown/portrayed/stated to the audience watching).
Shown in-canon: Unfortunately, most shows don’t have characters explicitly stating their rep. But, they do at least show it - for example, Tony Stark clearly has signs of a panic disorder throughout the Marvel series (not in a one-off episode like procedurals or superhero shows may show). There can be speculations on what it is, and signs point to PTSD, but it’s not explicitly mentioned. So, a submission for him would be “mental illness”. Or, a character who’s expressed attraction to men, women, and/or nonbinary people may be largely considered bi in fandom, but a submission would say “mspec”, “mlm”, or “wlw” as we do not know the specific label used.
Actor-stated: if the content shows the character as [xyz] and the actor gives a specific label, it is fine to submit the character as what the actor says (ex. Sara Lance in Arrow wasn’t stated to be bi until years later on LOT, but she was in a relationship with both a male and female character at points in the show, and her actress specifically stated that she is bi throughout this time).
Word of God: There may have to be an “issues” section in these submissions due to the fact that many Word of God (aka creator-stated) rep isn’t explicit to the audience, but it still counts as canon as it comes straight from the creator
Coded representation: This is the one I want to be most careful with, especially because there are many coded characters - of all types, but I’m going to go with characters coded to be gay/ace/lesbian/etc. in this example. I don’t want to accept say, queerbaiting, as representation. I generally reserve this for shows/books/movies/etc. that had to censor their representation due to the network they were on (ie. Leverage, Legend of Korra) or had to be careful due to the time period (ex. queer-coded characters in Old Hollywood movies).
We prefer canon examples that explicitly show or state the representation in the piece itself; however, we understand that certain types of representation can be hard to find, and will accept a writer’s words to be canon.
Can I submit a character with [x] representation?
In most cases, absolutely. Historically on this blog, submissions tend to fall under these umbrellas: religious, disorders, disabilities, sexuality, race, and abuse survivors. However, there can definitely be other characters submitted who don’t “fit” into any of those umbrellas, and if you’re unsure, shoot me an ask!
Are there other blogs I can submit to?
We accept all characters, but we would love to suggest other blogs that also take in character sheets/submissions - and who will take both canon and non canon sources.
@c-ptsdcharacteroftheday
@bi-characters
@transcharacters
@jewishcharacteroftheweek
@acecharacters
How do I submit?
You can either use the submit button (while following this template) or this submission via google forms.
I want my submission to be anonymous
If you submit via submission box, please specify that you want to be anonymous! If you submit via Google forms, there’s an option right there on the form.
Can I request [x] character?
Absolutely! Just double-check that they’re not already on our requests list
What’s the posting schedule?
As of right now, the submissions have been on Mondays & Fridays at 1 PM, and should the schedule change; I’ll update it.
I submitted a character, but they aren’t in the queue. Should I resubmit?
Please give me a 1-2 week waiting time. I’m currently in school, studying for two boards, and will be starting rotations in the summer, so I’m not always on Tumblr, and when I am, it’s to relax on a break. If I haven’t updated anything within 2 weeks, please shoot me an ask or chat!
I don’t think [x] counts as representation/Why did you allow [x] to be submitted/Other clear discourse asks:
Discourse will not be tolerated on this blog, and if you send it you’re literally just wasting your time. I’m not going to argue with people on what representation is the “most” important or valid, and this is about celebrating the different and varied types of rep out there.
There was a mistake/update on [x] submission:
Please message or PM me for this instead of commenting on the post, as I might miss that notification. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible (again, please give me a grace period for responses) and update/correct a submission if needed.
