Inside the assembly hall crowded with medical professionals, the host came on the stage and was welcomed with warm silence.

HOST

(Deep breath, Sigh)

A pleasant evening to everyone, to our guests and to the host of our annual get together, Doctor Buenaventura and Family.

EVERYONE

(Claps)

HOST

And tonight! For our special fund raising event, we will be holding an auction for a cost. The money that we funded will be given to a charity for patients with heart disease. *Audience claps* For our first bidding, who would like to take home this luxurious painting titled lavandera, oil on board, 1928 by Fernando Amorsolo. *strides towards the painting* let’s start with the price of 100,000 pesos, anyone?

FELICITY

(Raise her hand)

110,000 pesos!

SEBASTIAN

120,000 pesos!

Felicity stares at Sebastian with shock and Sebastian look back with a little smirk. Felicity rolled her eyes as a reply.

HOST

(Smiled with excitement and ready his right hand for counting)

Going once… going twice.....

FELICITY

(Took a deep breath and stand up with poise)

1500,000 pesos!

SEBASTIAN

(Smirk and raised his right hand)

300,000 pesos!

Silence filled the air. Audience are waiting for another bidding. Smirk on Sebastian’s lips stayed. Felicity’s anger vanished with just one look of Sebastian’s deep black eyes.

HOST

I guess we have a winner! Mr. Austin! Come and claim your price.

Felicity’s eyes followed the man, who is walking towards the stage to get the painting. Sebastian faced the crowd and gave his deadly smile that melt Felicity’s anger. Felicity left the assembly hall not knowing that Sebastian is walking behind her.

SEBASTIAN

(Walk faster to block Felicity’s way to the exit)

Guess it’s not your lucky day huh?

FELICITY

(Raise his eyebrow)

Do you really need to mention it? Look, I do not really like boys who are so full of themselves. Therefore, you better shut your mouth, baby.

SEBASTIAN

(A small smile form on his lips)

You do not like boys who are so full of themselves. But you called someone like them ‘baby’. Am I right baby? I didn’t chase you to annoy. The truth is I want to give you the painting.

FELICITY

(Turns around to face Sebastian properly)

What do you want in return? My number?

Sebastian took his phone from her back pocket and gave it to Felicity. Felicity gave Sebastian a flirty smile and dialed her number on the phone. After giving Sebastian’s phone back, Felicity turns her back on him and left him hanging. Weeks later, Felicity received a text from an unknown number.

FELICITY

(Puts her pen down and read the text out loud)

Hi, can we go on a date? I would love to know you more.

Felicity remembered the man at the auction. She look up and think if she’s going to reply or not. She took a deep breath before typing her decision.

FELICITY

Can we? I mean…our parents are against this kind of situation. Daddy doesn’t want anything to do with your family. I just don’t to get caught.

Sebastian read the text from Felicity and felt the anger of being born by his parents who are the great rival of Felicity’s parents. He started playing with his phone by encircling it with his fingers. He keeps on doing that until he stopped.

SEBASTIAN

(Smirk with his own thought)

Can’t we keep it a secret from now? If it gets deeper then we’ll face it together. If not, then let’s just forget what happened between us.

The next day exactly 5:00 in the afternoon, a loud horn came from a mustang car in front of the coffee shop that Felicity decided to stay. A vibrate from her phone was felt by her. A text from Sebastian came. She did not read the text and just left the coffee shop and went near the mustang. The door opened and Felicity hop in.

SEBASTIAN

Where do you want to go?

FELICITY

(Made a humming sound)

Amusement park, please.

SEBASTIAN

(Smiled)

Amusement park it is.

Felicity squeal with delight when she goes out of the car and saw the roller coaster, Ferris wheel and other rides that Amusement park has. Sebastian smiled and shake his head because of Felicity’s cuteness.

FELICITY

(claps with pure happiness)

Get me one of the pink bears, Mr. Sebastian!

SEBASTIAN

(Laughs)

You are like a kid. Such a cutie.

FELICITY

(Blush)

H-Huh? I-I just w-want the bear that is all.

SEBASTIAN

(Holds Felicity’s hand and kiss the back part)

Don’t be shy. I’m just kidding.

Sebastian took the ball near the edge of the table and starting throwing the ball on the ring. Felicity smiled with the first shot. Until three shot was made and the man gave Felicity the bear.

FELICITY

(Shouted with glee)

Thank you, Basti!

Sebastian smiled and hold her hand but Felicity pulled her hand away.

FELICITY

(Whispering)

S-Someone might see us. I’m afraid, Sebastian.

SEBASTIAN

(Shakes his head)

They won’t. Trust me.

Sebastian holds her hand again. Then smiled at her for assurance. They walk towards the Ferris wheel, rode it together, and took selfies for memories.

FELICITY

(Taps Sebastian’s arms)

Look, we look cute together, Basti.

SEBASTIAN

(A questioning face was formed)

Why do you call me Basti?

FELICITY

(Smiled)

Because it’s cute.

Sebastian smiled at that thought. Texting turned into calls, calls turned into dates. Pictures were post on Instagram of Felicity. Relatives of her are starting to spread news about her and Sebastian dating.

FATHER

I heard that you are dating the son of our rival. I want you to reflect on what you are doing, Felicity. This is wrong. This is an act of selfishness because you are not thinking about me or your mother.

FELICITY

(Looks down)

B-But dad… Sebastian’s different.

FATHER

(Mad)

Break up with him, Felicity. I mean it.

The talk with her Father was clear that Sebastian was a rival. Felicity stayed inside her own library to study and decided to sleep when she have a break. She totally decided to stop her relationship with Sebastian.

SEBASTIAN

(Waiting at the side of the Mansion while kicking the stones on the ground)

Where are you Felicity?

FELICITY

(Whispered)

Sebastian?

Sebastian walks toward Felicity who is just 10 steps away from him.

SEBASTIAN

We need to talk. I fucking miss you, baby. Everyday, I don’t see you and you’re not texting me, it feels like I’m dying. I want to know the reason why you are doing this to me. You know that I love you, always. Right?

FELICITY

(Sigh)

This is wrong. We're not for each other. There are people who have seen us and we are aware even from the start that we can’t be because our family has rivalry.

SEBASTIAN

So? I can damn fight for us. Just dont leave me now and decide impulsively. I want you to think our happy moments and the reasons why are we here now.

FELICITY

(Tears starting to pool in her eyes)

I don’t want to be selfish, Sebastian. I’m thinking about my family now.

SEBASTIAN

(Holds her hand)

Please, I’m begging you. Let me love you fully. I-If you can’t fight for us then I’ll do it. J-Just let me

Felicity founds herself nodding at what Sebastian told her. Two days after, Sebastian still rarely gets any messages from Felicity and slowly, he’s losing his sanity. He has been hearing things about Felicity and another man and he’s not sure he can still hold himself together. While he was laying down on his king sized bed, he called Felicity and to no avail, he was directed to the voice mail.

SEBASTIAN

(Angrily throws his pillow)

I swear to God Felicity, if you didn’t meet me today I will kill myself. You understand? I will fucking kill myself.

Sebastian kept on texting and calling Felicity. He never stops on dialing Felicity’s number. He went back and forth inside his bedroom. His starting to throw things that are near him. Until Felicity answered his call.

SEBASTIAN

(Smile with pure happiness)

Baby?! Thank God you answered! I was su---

FELICITY

(Cold voice)

Meet me at the Art Museum tomorrow.

And with that, the call has ended. Sebastian’s smiled almost reach his ears. He picked up his pillow and lay down his bed. He’s so happy with the thought of him going on a date with his Felicity tomorrow. 2 in the afternoon, Sebastian came on the right time and stood near the entrance of the Museum hoping that Felicity is inside. Felicity saw Sebastian in the entrance and decided to let him wait for more minutes. Sebastian is starting to lose himself news starting to flash on her head that makes him more insane. He’s starting to call Felicity and texting her on where she is.

FELICITY

(Took a deep breath)

You can do this. It is just him. Do not be scared, Felicity.

She got out of the car and entered the Museum. Sebastian stood there near the door, emotionless. Felicity took a deep breath again and walk passed Sebastian and went towards the paintings. Sebastian followed her and wicked smile form on his lips when he smelled Felicity’s scent.

FELICITY

(Trembling)

This has to stop.

Sebastian didn’t replied. Felicity gathered all the courage despite the feeling of her feet shaking. She look back at Sebastian and fear consume all her body when she saw Sebastian’s eyes.

SEBASTIAN

What did you say?

FELICITY

(Manage to look directly at his eyes)

I-I said t-this has to stop. The something that we have. It has to stop, Sebastian. I-I can’t continue this

SEBASTIAN

(Grasps her arm hard)

What?

FELICITY

(Tears are starting to build)

I… I-I’m…. I’m getting m-married. I-I’m sorry

SEBASTIAN

(Grasps her arm harder that will surely leave a mark)

And you didn’t tell me earlier? I had to hear it from other people’s disgusting mouth? Did you ever think of what I would feel? This is selfish, Felicity. You are selfish.

FELICITY

(Tried to pull her arm back)

You’re hurting me, Sebastian. Please let go.

SEBASTIAN

No. You will go with me whether you like it or not. You will go with me or I will kill that guy you’re marrying.

Felicity tried to fight back but Sebastian made sure to shove her in his car violently that makes Felicity’s head hit the car’s door, which made her unconscious. Felicity woke up, feeling her headache. She was in an unfamiliar penthouse but she knew whose it is. Sebastian was beside her, stroking her hair gently. She had her hands and feet tied, making her hopeless.

SEBASTIAN

Princesses’ thirsts for happy endings, to live happy ever after. They fight for romance, they do everything for romance. *Pulled Felicity’s hair* I thought you are a princess, I thought you loved me. Was I not enough?!

FELICITY

(Weakly cries)

Please let me go. This isn’t you, Sebastian. Please I know deep inside you want to make me happy and set me free.

SEBASTIAN

(Slaps Felicity)

Shup up! you don’t know me. They don’t know me. People are goddamn easy to manipulate. They only want me for my looks and my money, and that makes me powerful. What else do you want?! I have everything, Felicity. And you choose that man? I bet you want him just because he’s a doctor.

FELICITY

(Tried pushing Sebastian away)

No, no that’s not it. Please

SEBASTIAN

You’ll have your happy ending with me.

Leans in to kiss Felicity. Felicity cried with so much fear. Sebastian hands are starting to roam around her body, which made Felicity fight back. Sebastian was enjoying her struggles; he finds entertainment with her body struggling to get away from his grip.

Sebastian’s left hand slowly presses around her neck, strangling her unconsciously making her lose her breath. Felicity didn’t move, her cheeks are pale. Sebastian let go of her neck and holds her shoulder.

SEBASTIAN

(Pokes Felicity’s cheeks)

Felicity? baby? Wake up baby.

FELICITY

(Opens her eyes)

Hi, baby

SEBASTIAN

(Smiles and hug Felicity)

I love you, baby.

Days go on and they lived a normal life together. Sebastian waking her up and Felicity giving him her usual sweet smile before walking out of the room. Sebastian entered the kitchen and found no food on the table. He just shrug his shoulders. Then went towards the cabinet to get some utensils.

SEBASTIAN

(Shouts)

Felicity? you seemed to forgot that you had to cook dinner again.

With the house’s gloomy atmosphere, Sebastian was greeted with nothing. After that incident, felicity seems to lost her ability to hear things that fast.

SEBASTIAN

(Opens the stove)

Felic---

FELICITY

(Hugs Sebastian from the back)

Sorry! I forgot, basti baby.

Holds Felicity’s hand and kiss it. Before facing her and kissing her forehead. Sebastian saw Felicity smile which made him smile too.

SEBASTIAN

(Kiss the tip of Felicity’s nose)

It’s okay, baby.

Dinner started, felicity was the usual reserve and quiet, not daring to touch her plate. Sebastian eyes her.

SEBASTIAN

(Shakes his head)

You’re not eating again, baby.

FELICITY

(Smiled)

I’m just tired. That’s all.

Every night, Sebastian could feel the suspiciously cold breeze from outside even though he always make sure that he turns the heater on. Sebastian turns around and hug Felicity to get body heat. He kiss Felicity’s shoulder.

SEBASTIAN

(Hugging Felicity harder)

You’re cold.

FELICITY

(Smiles)

You made me cold.

SEBASTIAN

(Surprise)

W-What?

Sebastian stand up and saw felicity’s rotting body. Realization hits Sebastian. He killed Felicity days ago and he didn’t realize it sooner. There on his bed is Felicity’s dead body, it is where he left her, it’s still on the exact same spot and position. That’s why she’s not cooking, not eating, barely closing her eyes and always cold. He realized it now, the one he’s been living with is his hallucination. He couldn’t grasp the reality anymore. Sebastian picks up gun from the drawer beside his bed and places it on his head

SEBASTIAN

(Glances at Felicity’s dead body)

I’ll be with you, love.

Then pulled the trigger.
