I really think that if the writers of Picard had cared about the new characters they would’ve continued Elnor’s character progression from wanting to help the xB’s to specializing in medicine or law. The xB’s don’t need someone to defend them with a sword in Federation territory, they need someone who can advocate for them and help them heal! So did people on Vashti! I really think medic or psychologist or defender of the defenceless legal advocate Elnor all make a lot of sense!
