not sure if between heaven & earth is becoming too nihilistic or the warriors' lives are, in fact, hell. I'll look over it again and think. I'm confident that it won't ALL be doom and gloom, even if it starts that way. the titan trio should be offered moments of humanity, even from their enemies.
the animosity between reiner and annie will soften with distance and a little self-reflection as the stakes are raised with eren as the wrench in everyone else's plans. but I don't want to get completely self-indulgent/navel-gazing with the angst.
I say titan trio bc the 104th are important but they're not really the main focus. the reiss family, the tyburs, grisha & kruger are the actors at play. it's their world and everyone on paradis is stuck in it.
