“Was there something troubling you, my dear?” Vivienne remarked, not having looked up from the piles of letters and schematics for plans and such sprawled about her desk.
Even in Skyhold, much of her life in Orlais followed her wherever she went...         which meant so did the politics and constant messy affairs.

What- what had happened? They had been fighting... a haze... was it his usual Berserker haze, or magically caused? Something didn’t feel right. When Mikhail collapsed, Xavien darted forward to catch him. He didn’t move fast enough to stop him from hitting the floor, but he at least caught him before his head crashed against the ground. A bleeding head wound was not needed along with the wound Mikhail had already sustained. The elf’s teeth chattered, as the panic and fear the other felt spread to him. This was a lot of blood. He’s seen a lot of wounds in his life, and this much blood... never told a happy ending.
“H-Hey, hey- just. Stay with me.” A poor attempt to comfort the young adult. The Warden tried to even out his breaths to remain calm, one of them had to, as he went to examine Mikhail’s injury.
“You’re gonna be fine.” The true tragedy was that he didn’t know if this would be considered a lie or not.

ON MATERIAL POSSESSIONSAn abundance of wealth portrayed in gilded trim and plush furnishings leave a numb sort of taste in the back of his mouth. Dhruastun doesn't scorn the idea of putting value in material possessions, however glorifying them and having them act as tokens to display power or status don't sit well. He had been within that environment without actually being a part of it, acting as a sort of gilded trim himself. He was a possession, something to be used as a thing, an item that did a job and otherwise kept silent and obedient. The grandiose display usually associated with things that have too much value placed into them is, in his opinion, not favorable. However, Dhruastun is very much a hypocrite in this area, because the meager bits of material possessions that he has kept with him through the years are things he values immeasurably. He knows he should not put stock into things, that they can't keep him warm at night or protect him from the world at large, but he can't help it. He perpetuates the very ideals that he will admonish as being shallow or frivolous.ON PRIVACYIt's a strange blend of privacy and openness that makes up a great deal of Dhruastun, the bits of it often not making much sense when looked at from far off. He doesn't bat an eye at undressing before others, doesn't hold back when asked as to how he's doing, and doesn't shy away from divulging information regarding plenty---at and the same time he hardly speaks up about personal experiences of his past, and rarely breathes a word about his faith despite it being such a core portion of who he is. He doesn't shy from explaining his thought process or how the horrors of the world can keep him up at night, but the moment the topic strays too close to the contents of his heart he'll completely redirect the path of conversation.Likewise his understanding of privacy with others is a bit skewed. Due to the culmination of the various ways he's lived, he doesn't think much to physical privacy, but respects the distance of emotional privacy a great deal. He wouldn't think to turn his gaze away if someone was pulling their garments off before him, however moments where someone bears a bit of their understanding or thought process with him are treated as if they're wrought of glass.
