I'm really boring when it comes to Chinese food, haha.  I got myself some fried dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, and chicken lo mein.  I hate the dumplings and chicken, and I'm keeping the rice and lo mein for a rainy day.

i dont think i've ever seen a good manga summary ever, Nila. this has been the case especially with DNAngel. haven't seen a single one in a magazine or elsewhere that described it well.

Saga was quite actually quite surprised at seeing this many new people already.  Given that the white-haired boy from earlier hadn't known who he was, he figured that it would be better to introduce himself.

Anna, it's just a suggestion that I thought of somehow so it's ok if you object somehow. I think I might understand your complicated emotions since I also kind of pride myself on my scanning... It's great that you found a cheaper place for magazines though. Where is it and how much does it cost? I'm curious.

Team Angel Scanlations report

it's settled: in light of recent events, I'm going to be typesetting tomorrow afternoon.

In general, I don't like the fact that, when it comes to our projects, there are poor quality scans that are already posted on manga-hosting sites. Out of respect to the author, I don't like seeing Sugisaki's work presented in such unsatisfactory ways. Since they're already up, and we have something better, I request permission to upload our high quality scans to replace the chapters that are already there. At least as far as 1001 goes. Once we catch up to the chapters that are out on the manga-sharing sites, we can continue our private releases. Does that sound alright?

Donations for scanlating Sugisaki series?

I thought of this when speaking to Anna. Some of us have the money but no place to buy Japanese stuff thus resorting to ridiculous shipping fees. Meanwhile I have the place to buy Japanese stuff (a Kinokuniya just a bus ride away with magazines costing at most SGD$15 including shipping) but no money since I'm a student who has no income.

So here's a proposal: If I can get enough donations, I am willing to buy the magazines from my local Kinokuniya and scan them.

This will save you all a lot of money on shipping since shipping to Singapore will cost around SGD$6-8 instead.

So far I think there's 1001 Knights and Junkissa Neko right? That would be around SGD$30 a month for Asuka and Birz. To make things easier and considering Paypal transaction fees/my transport fees, I'll make it USD$30 that I require a month to buy the magazines.

So uh, is this a good idea?
