You’re not really 100% to sure how it happened. You were a new interviewer to the brands of Raw and Smackdown, starting out on Smackdown. You didn’t come into contact with the bloodline until about your 5th week. The aura that they carried and held was intimidating to say the least. But once the cameras were off, they all relaxed into a more casual demeanors, still intimidating to you if you were honest. They all introduced themselves and apologized for not coming around to say hello sooner. From there a small friendship with the faction began, as well as romantic feelings for two of its members, Josh and Leati or Jey and Roman.

It wasn’t until one night you had to go to their locker room to do an interview with Josh and Leati. You knocked on the door and Paul opened it letting you in. Paul gave you a rather nervous smile but chalked it up to that being how he always was with Leati.

“Wiseman, go accompany Jimmy and Solo to their match” Leati had demanded in his tribal chief tone.

“Yes my tribal chief” Paul said and left the room leaving you, Josh, Leati and the camera guy. You got on with interview when you were told to by the cameraman. Once you finished the interview, the camera man made his way out, you following behind until a voice stopped you.

“Y/n, stay for a moment” Leatis voice rang through your ears. You turned your head slightly to look back at Leati and saw him sitting manspread on the couch, Josh sitting on the back top of it, his feet on the cushions.

“I have interviews…” you spoke with nervousness in your voice. Something about being alone with the two of them made you feel different. Leati looked at Josh than you. He started shaking his head.

“I had Paul check when your next interview would be after ours, you don’t have an interview till end of the show…”Leati trailed off. He looked down at his phone and smirked, looking back at you.

“That means you have and hour and forty five minutes.” Leati finished. You tried to take a quick deep breath and went to sit down on the chair opposite the couch.

“Okay. So what’s up then?” You asked nervousness laced within your voice. Josh hopped off the couch and circled your chair, standing behind you. Josh leaned in behind you, moving your hair to the back so your neck and ear was exposed to him.

“Relax mamas,” Josh started. His voice sent shivers down your spine. Josh left a small light kiss on the lobe of your ear. You quickly shut your eyes and tried to take a deep breath. Leati watched with a smirk and nodded to Josh for him to continue.

“Me and Joe, we’ve had our eyes on you for a minute.” Josh says. Another kiss left. You choked on your air.

“Excuse me” you whispered out. Leati chuckles. Josh looks at Leati with a smirk and Leati nods to him. Josh brings his arm around and brings it up to your throat, gently grabbing a hold of you.

“You see mamas, me and Joe have an interest in you” he says. His thumb caresses your jaw.

“You are quite exquisite and perfect” Leati says from across from you. You lock eyes on Leati and he licks his lips. You let out a small squeak when Josh gently bites your earlobe. He then proceeds to kiss down your neck to where his hands are holding you, his beard tickling you, eliciting small giggles from you. Josh moans in your personal space as he pulls his head away from your neck.

“God your giggles are delightful” Josh says.

“I’m ticklish” you whispered. Leati smiled widely and sat forward, his elbows on his knees.

“Uce you wanna let her know what’s up?” Josh says. Leati nods.

“I’ll get to the point, we both want you Y/N…” Leati trails off. Your breath caught in your throat.

“I’m not that type of girl” you squeak out. Josh let out a small chuckle as did Leati. Josh lets his hand drop from your throat and caresses your arm.

“It was figured as much. But we aren’t asking for one night or many nights. We’re asking for all nights, days, weekends, anytime. We both want a romantic relationship with you” Leati says standing up. He walks over to the mini fridge and grabs a water and brings it over to you. He crouches down and hands you the water bottle.

“B-both of you?” You ask quietly. Leati puts a hand on your knee, his thumb rubbing back and forth. He was trying to calm you but it was making you more hyper sensitive.

“Yes babygirl.” Leati says, his hand coming up to caress your face. You flutter you eyes closed at the warmth radiating from Leatis hand. You feel a kiss on your other cheek and flutter your eyes back open and Josh hangs his head around to your view.

“What do you say mamas?” Josh asks in a gentle voice.

“But you guys are cousins…how does this work?” You say finding a small fraction of a voice.

“Well we wouldn’t be with each other if that’s what you mean babygirl. But you’d be both of ours and we’d be yours. Just like a regular relationship just with two people who know the other is also with you.” Leati explains.

“But what if I wanna be near you both, non sexually…”

“That’s fine baby girl. That’s basically what’s happening right now anyway.” Leati says. You slowly nod.

“What about your families? You both have kids with your ex’s…i don’t want to put them in something that could confuse them. Hell what about your brothers and sister, and parents” you could feel the panic rise slowly. Josh took to putting both his hands on your face and bringing it to look at him.

“Mamas, chill. Just like any relationship we take things slow. Our children will always be thought of in any aspect but you don’t need to worry. They’ll be let known when the time is right. As for our parents and brothers and sister, well, it’s only Summer who doesn’t really know but Sefa and Jon are already aware of things. Kinda busted me a few weeks ago and busted Joe last week. As long as we have communication, things will go at their own pace.” Josh explains.

“There’s no need to worry baby girl. But you do have to answer if you want this. If not let us know and we will do our best to make sure to undo romantic feelings.” Leati says. Josh drops his hands from your cheeks, you immediately missing the heat they provided. You take a deep breath. Is this what you wanted? You open the water bottle and take a gulp from it trying to clear any warmth that was within you. Leati looks at Josh and nods his head to the couch and both men go and sit back on the couch, watching you with gentle eyes. Your eyes were cast down at your hands that were holding the water bottle.

“I…I” you took a deep breath. You’d never been in a situation like this. You liked the both of them, Josh was a good with you but so gentle, and Leati was like a giant teddy bear ready to be on the defense TK protect anyone that threatens his family. Both made you feel special and always took time to make sure you were okay. You looked up at both of them and gave a nod. You couldn’t trust your voice. You’d hope that be good enough but it wasn’t.

“Words babygirl” Leati says.

“I’d like to try out this relationships with you both” you breathe out. Both leati and Josh smile big at you and your heart flutters. Both men stand and leati holds out his hand for you to take. You set the water bottle at your feet and put your hand in his and he gently pulls you to your feet. Leati looks down at you with a gentle look and kisses your forehead.

“If you are up for it, we’d like for you to travel with us…” Leati says. You look at both Leati and Josh and slowly nod.

“Is that allowed?” You ask. Leati chuckles.

“Babygirl you’re looking at the tribal chief. What I say goes, I have a lot of pull and if they want their best interviewer to be on tv for each event, they’ll let travel be.” He says. You nod your head.

The weeks following your acceptance for a relationship with both of them, grew your feelings for both exponentially. When you didn’t have a lot of interviews, you stayed around the bloodline, sometimes with Leati other times with Josh. Whenever they filmed you made yourself scarce behind the camera and watched them film. As the months passed by Leati and Josh had become more accustomed to having you around. Josh loved having you play with his hair and you helped him dye it a few times. Leati loved having you sit on his lap, his arms encircled around you, his face hurried in your hair. He loved the shampoo you used, it made his heart feel like it was at home.

By the time a year hit, you were madly in love with both men. It wasn’t long after, the men introduced you to their children and their parents. Of course their sets of parents had reservations but ultimately saw how happy both men were. Their bond as cousins grew as well, which helped strengthen some old doubts their parents had. Their children were confused at first but eventually got used to having a ‘bonus mom’. Even their ex wives seemed supportive, which surprised you, but when they had spoken up and told you that they themselves had never seen their ex husbands so happy, they couldn’t be happier. Their love with their exes had died off but we’re glad to see it resurface with you.

By the time a year and a half hit, you got a surprise. A little baby was growing within you. You weren’t really sure if it was Josh or Leatis, both had super sperm, in your defense, Josh did have 2 kids and Leati did have 5. Both men were overjoyed with happiness when you told them. You were scared but they both helped ease any doubts.

The wwe universe was mostly in the dark for your relationship but both men would post pics of you without capturing your face. The world knew they both had someone, they just weren’t sure who. By the time you started showing in your pregnancy, Leati and Josh had taken on the role of being more attached to you physically in public and backstage.

For a few months the universe was debating on who was with who. So when you did give birth and it was announced, the babygirl had both of their last names. Aianna Lea Fatu-Anoai.

Jacob Fatu is the only person who should dethrone Roman Reigns

I can see the value in having Seth Rollins, Sami, Cody or Bron Breakker to be the one to end Roman Reigns reign in WWE. But to me there is only one person who can and sadly we won’t see him leave MLW for another 2 years. And that person is Jacob Fatu.

The storyline is there. The black sheep of The Anoaʻi family. The one member of the family who has not and will not bend the knee or acknowledge Roman as the Tribal Chief. You could even bring Rikishi in as his manager to introduce him to the WWE. And as I recalled Rikishi hasn't bent the knee either. So it could be Rikishi and his nephew against the whole damn Bloodline. Either he acknowledges his Tribal Chief or the Samoan Werewolf is the one to dethrone his cousin.

And hey, Jacob could even start a civil war in The Bloodline. First Jacob recruits Solo Sikoa to his cause and Solo turns on his brothers and Roman. and then bring in Lance Anoai and we can have Jacob, Solo and Lance vs Roman and The Usos

Memory Lane

AN Inspired by this throwback pic of Jey! You can't tell me they all weren't swimming in it LMAO! Enjoy!

You're both 17. I do not own this image.

Year of 2002

Jey. "Mama, I don't want to be here." You groan as you fold your arms in annoyance. Your parents were forcing you to join them for one of their co-workers/ friends kickbacks at the beach. You sat in the backseat of your parents SUV with annoyance written all over your face. You'd rather be at home in your bed watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or reading a book while your grandmother watched Jeopardy downstairs in the living room.

"Come on sweetie, it's going to be a nice little family and friends get together. Besides Joshua is going to be there." She grins.

"Of course he's going to be there mama, it's his dad hosting it." You roll your eyes.

Joshua Fatu, or Jey as everyone in school called him was a classmate of yours along with his twin brother Jonathan and his cousin Joseph Anoai. You didn't know much about these three except they were voted as Most Handsome in your senior yearbook. They also played football together, basketball, baseball, and pretty much any other sport that they could have a ball in their hands. They were quite literally the popular kids of your school. You, on the other hand, kept to yourself. You were the top student at your school, in the poetry club, a part of your school's student government association, and were even active in your community. Not to toot your own horn, but you were also in the American Sign Language, Spanish, German, French, and Chinese clubs.

You often try to stay clear of boys like Joshua as they seemed to be nothing but trouble. It's crazy because while you tried to avoid them, boys and girls flocked to them. Boys envied them or wanted to be their friends and girls wanted to date them. You remember when Joseph Anoai started dating one of the cheerleaders and she thought she was the shit. But truth be told, you're sure any girl these three guys associated themselves with would.

"I could be coming up with a cure for the common cold or the world's first solar-powered car and yet here I am being forced to party." You sigh. You weren't trying to come off as rude and ungrateful, but you just preferred your solitude.

"Sweet heart please, try and live a little. It's not going to hurt you to enjoy the beach and free food. I'm just as invested in your future as you are, but honey, please. You're 17 years old, not 30. Have fun while you can."

"I have to agree with your mother princess, this could be good for you to make friends."

"I don't want friends, they disappoint me."

"You look very beautiful today sweetheart." Your mother says changing the subject as you arrive at the beach.

"Thanks, mama." You mumble as you look down at your selected outfit for this afternoon. A Juicy Couture tracksuit with your matching purse and sneakers. Your hair was pulled into two curly pigtails, gold bamboo hoop earrings adorned your ears and your lip gloss was poppin' and shinin against your naturally brown and pink lips. You looked good!

You scan the beach as you see numerous bodies moving around freely with no care in the world. Music blasted, food was eaten, and laughter and smiles filled the air. Your dad found a vacant park, turned off the car, and then turned to you.

"Look sweetie, try to have fun, okay? It's not that bad and I'm sure you'll turn out to like it more than you think you will. Promise you'll try." He says, giving you a small smile.

"Yes sir. I promise."

You walk behind your parents as you all walk through the sandy beach to the area that Mr. Fatu or Rikishi as some call him, had designated.

"KISH!" A tall stocky-looking man turns around with a gap-tooth smile.

"USO! Y/M/N! WELCOME!" You watch as your parents approach him and give him a friendly hug. He then turns his attention to you. "Well hello, you must be y/n?" You step up and take his awaiting hand.

"Nice to meet you, sir." You say shyly. You always found it awkward meeting new people.

"Nice to meet you two sweetheart. Please enjoy yourselves, get some food, and enjoy the music, we have the reservation til midnight. If you'd like, the teens are over by the fire pit." Your parents stand talking with him and you ease your way away from the adults. You sigh as you find an empty chair on the beach before settling down. You were glad that you had decided to bring your diary along with you so that you could write in it. What else would you be writing in your diary beside your imaginary relationship with Chad Murray from One Tree Hill? You were so engrossed in your diary that you didn't hear someone shouting for you to look out.

"AYE WATCH OUT!!"

"Huh?" Before you could move, you were suddenly struck in the face with something hard, knocking you off the chair. You hear sand being kicked around as someone kneels to your side.

"Ayo, you okay?" You look up confused as ever to see Joshua and his twin brother Jimmy standing over you.

"Y-Yeah I'm-"You stop mid-sentence feeling something warm pouring from your nose. You look down at your now blood-stained jacket.

"Oh shit she bleeding!" Joshua smacks Jimmy's arm.

"Don't be cursin in front of a lady." He scolds his older brother. Soon Joseph appears beside his cousins.

"My bad. I didn't mean to hit you! I called out but you didn't hear me." Of course, he was the one that threw the ball. Josh helps you to your feet as he inspects your nose.

"I don't think it's broken."

"Do you need anything....maybe some water?" Jimmy asks.

"Smh foo what she gone need water for? She needs a towel." Josh says rolling his eyes. Jimmy shrugs.

"I'll be fine." You mumble stumbling to your feet. You grab your diary, throwing your jacket off you and holding it up to your nose. You hear all three of them arguing as you walk off to find your parents. You soon find them sitting with other adults in a circle. When they see you approach, they immediately jump to their feet.

"Sweetie, what happened?" Your mom asks running to your side. Before you can answer, you feel a presence beside you. You turn to Josh whose face is a little red.

"We threw a deep ball and it accidentally hit her in the face." He says sheepishly. "We weren't paying attention, my apologies Mrs. y/l/n."

"What did I tell y'all about throwing that ball around too close to others? I-"You cut off Mr. Fatu's rant.

"It's okay Mr. Fatu, they called out to me, I just wasn't paying attention. They didn't mean to." You reassure giving a small smile. "Mama, can I see the key so I can get something else to wear?" Your mother nods as she hands you the car key. You were thankful that you had some spare clothes in the trunk or else you'd have to walk around with this bloody outfit on. You quietly thank your mother and walk off. That is until you hear Josh calling out to you.

"Hey wait for me lil mama." You inwardly roll your eyes. You bet he says that to all the girls. You keep walking despite him calling out to you. He finally runs up beside you and walks with you in silence. You finally make it to your parents' car and get your spare clothes out of the trunk.

"If you don't mind, can you please tell my parents I'm going to the convenience store across the street to change?" You honestly just wanted to get as far away from him as possible. No, he hadn't done anything, it's just that you're super awkward in front of boys; especially cute ones.

"No, I wanna walk with you." He says an annoyingly beautiful smirk on his face. Rolling your eyes you walk off, once again leaving him behind. You make it across the street to the all-too-familiar convenience store. You come here so often that the owners know who you are.

"Um....I'll wait out here while you change," Josh says rubbing the back of his neck. You only nod as you walk off to the bathroom. It takes you about fifteen minutes before you're satisfied with your outfit and walk out. Your stomach growls and you realize that you haven't eaten since breakfast. You had to get back to the beach to get your something to eat. You search the aisles for Josh and finally find him in the snack aisle.

"Zebra caaaaaakes! Mmmm!" He was stuffing his face with the delicious Debbie cake.

"Joshua! What did I tell you about eating the products before paying?" You both turn around to see the store owner, Mr. Jones standing at the end of the aisle with a broom in hand. You cover your mouth to keep from laughing as you watch cream and crumbs fall from Josh's mouth.

"Sorry Mr. Jones." He smiles guiltily as he picks up three more of the delicious Debbie cakes.

"Smooth. Very smooth." You laugh as he goes into his back pocket and pulls out a $20 bill.

"Want anything?" You say nothing as you pick up a bag of Doritos. You turn and walk down the aisle with him and walk to the fridge to get a watermelonflavored Arizona.

"Thanks-" Your words cut off by him pulling you into a mind blowing kiss. This was your first kiss in a long time. Well, the first one doesn't really count. I mean it was in second grade.

You quickly pull away from him and slap the hell out of him.

"Ssss oooo damn. That's gotta hurt!" You hear Mr. Jones mumble behind you before sweeping off down the other aisle. Josh looks at you shocked while holding his cheek.

"What was that for? I thought we was vibin-"

"Boy you don't know me to me movin like that! What's wrong with you?" You say glaring at him and folding your arms. His cheeks flush red as he looks away embarrassed.

"Y-You're right, my bad lil mama."

".....At least ask me first." You say biting the corner of your lip. Now that you're getting a good look at him, he was looking fine as hell right now. He was decked out in a red and black jersey, durag on and not to mention he was iced out. No wonder the girls went crazy, he was a looker. But then again you should know cause his daddy was fine too! Hell everybody in their family was.

He licks his lips as he approaches you, you getting a good smell of his cologne as he pushes you up against the fridge locking you in. Your heart began to pound a million times faster in your chest. You look up at the tall male as he grasps your chin gently.

"Can I kiss you?"

"Yes." You lock your lips with his and its like heaven. You can't help but wrap your arms around his neck pulling him closer. He tried slipping his tongue pass your lips but you pop his chest.

"Aight nie, don't y'all be back there hunchin! I know both y'all parents!"

Youtwo finally pullaway, hearing Mrs. Jones, Mr. Jones mother says as she pulled down her glasses and eyes you two suspiciously. You both can't help but laugh.

"Don't be getting greedy. You can't have all that."

"You gave me a taste and now I want the whole plate." He smirks biting the corner of his lip. "Hey would you like to join me for the movies tomorrow? 1408 just came out and my friends and brothers are bringing their girls. Maybe you'd like to be my plus one?" Your ears perk up.

"I don't know, it's a school night and-"

"Don't worry Cinderella, I'll have you home before the clock strikes 12." He smirks. You playfully hit his arm. His smile grows bigger and you can't resist.

"..Fine. I'll see if I can get my parents approval."

"Fair enough lil mama. Here's my phone." He takes out his sidekick phone and hands you his phone. You playfully roll your eyes and put your number in after handing him your phone.

"Let's head back, our parents are probably looking for us."

"Yeah you're right. Listen, I know we know who each other are because we go to school together. But I want to formally introduce myself, I'm Joshua Fatu." He extends his hand for you to shake.

"Y/n." You say softly as you give him a small smile.

"Y/n? Y/n? BAE! WHERE YOU AT?!" You're knocked out of your thoughts hearing your husband step into your bedroom. You were currently folding clothes when you were putting away his old red and black jersey with the #7. The same one he wore when y'all first met officially.

"Baby you good? I been calling you for the past ten minutes." He says walking over and wrapping his arms around you. You wrap your hands around his neck with a smile. Who knew you two would be together for more than a decade.

"Yes baby I'm fine, just going down memory lane." You grin holding up his jersey. He breaks into a smile.

"I still remember you slapping the hell out of me. Hurt a brotha pride."

"Whatever. You just knew you had me." You whisper against his lips.

"Of course. I love being yours and you being mine."

"I love you too."

"My lil headache. My smile. My frown. My right. My wrong. My pain. My happiness. My present. My future. My everything. I've given you my all. My heart and I don't want nobody else to have it. I love you Mrs. Fatu." He says kissing you with each word.

"I love you more."

"Mmnn, Jey, c'mon", Kim said, Jey leaving sloppy kisses down her neck as she applies her blush.

"Nah, ma, you lookin a bit too fine, what's goin on?" He said, sucking her neck.

Kimberly moved from him before he could leave a love mark. "Is it so bad that cho girl wanna look good today? Leave me alone boy", Kim giggles. "Stop playin games, woman" Jey says, giving a quick smack on her ass and walking away.

*15 minutes later*

The doorbell rang for a good minute before Kimberly shouted at Jey.

"Daaanggg! I'm getting it, shoot.." Jey says as he rushes towards the door. "Heyyyy!" Trin squeals as she rushes into the house, sitting the wine down on their kitchen island. "Wassup, dawg?" Jey greets Jimmy with their 'secret' handshake.

"What's good?" Jimmy returned his energy. "YEET!" "NO YEET!", they said at the same time. Jimmy glared and mugged at Jey, Jey does the same thing, and enters the house.

Jey walks over to Trinity and gives her a short hug. "What's up, Trin, how y'all been?" Jey questioned.

"I'm good. We been good." Trin says, smiling at Jimmy.

"Yurrr" (means u heard fa da non vernacular ppl) Jimmy added.

"That's good."

"Where's ma girl?" Trin asked.

"Oh, uh, BAE!" Joshua called out.

"ONE SEC, BOO" Kim called out back.

After a few seconds, she finally walks down the left stairs and runs over to Trin.

Trinity does the same thing and they give each other a huge bear hug. "Girl, I missed chuuuu!" Kim speaks, pulling apart. "Not more than me fa sureee!"

They all laugh and joke around until a knock on the door and a doorbell is heard.

Kimberly gets up to open the door is is surprised to see Montez and Bianca with a new face. She lets them in, greeting the new girl politely but looking over her shoulder at Trin who seems to be skiking at the girl. They all sit down after saying their 'hello' s to eachother and Bianca began to explain.

"So this is Jade, she's new on Smackdown and we are in this lil' group thang or whatever. She's really cool and sweet, we have a feelin' you gon' like this girl!" Bianca beamed.

"Oh..heyyy, Jade!" Kim stuck out her hand for her to shake.

My biggest regret? I don't have very many to be quite honest with you. Ive done a lot of amazing things in my personal life as well as my career, but i do regret not being able to be around more for my family.. more than right now i should say.

MLW Fusion 158 Review/Recap

Hey all, another week, another MLW Fusion recap/review. As always, if you want to see older ones and other wrestling reviews, check the tags below. We open with a recap of Cesar discovering the attacks last week. The commentary team welcome us to the show.

Here comes Willie Mack! He’s only on commentary, though. I have no idea why Impact let go of this guy, he was one of the more entertaining people on their dire roster, but hey, now he’s here on a much more entertaining wrestling show, so.

The first match is a tag match – La Anexion from IWA Puerto Rico vs the Samoan Swat Team. Samoan Swat Team take Anexion to separate corners and attack them. Anexion try to fight back, but Lance hits them together. Juicy hits them in the corner, then Lance does with a cannonball.

We come back from ads as Lance does a pretty good looking tope con hiro on Anexion. They then brawl on the outside a bit. Juicy goes for a cannonball, but hits the barriers. Back in the ring, Anexion beat up Lance. Anexion hit a muta lock/dropkick combo which looks cool, but Juicy is back in the ring and clotheslines them both.

Juicy gets one of them them both in a fireman’s carry and hits a double samoan drop. Lance Anoai gets a big splash for the win. Rich Bocchini gives an interview to the Samoan Swat Team. Fatu is still feuding with Enzo, I guess, but Fatu also sees Willie Mack and welcomes him over. Willie challenges him, and Fatu accepts.

The Bomaye Fight Club have a promo, Alex Kane just sorta gloats. Then Davey has a video promo. He’s been training a friend from overseas, and teases Alex Kane will see him soon. Davey is also coming back for the Opera Cup, of course.

We get a video package for Lio Rush. Hell yeah always love some Lio. We see outside of Court Bauer’s office, where he yells, and Cesar leaves. Mads Kruger does a promo. His voice is a bit silly, but he calls out Mance. We get a recap to Jacob Fatu’s promo from earlier.

Sultan del Aire comes down to the ring. He’ll face EJ Nduka. EJ takes Sultan to the corner and throws him with a few big biels. Sultan gets some kicks, but EJ slams him. Commentary says something about kicking Pikachu? Sultan gets a few kicks, but gets clotheslined by EJ. EJ tries to pull the mask off, but slams Sultan to the floor. He goes for the Nduka bomb for the win, a sort of Blue Thunder Bomb with many more spins. Not sure I like it. EJ looked fine, though. EJ does a promo, but the audio on the mic is bad. Hammerstone comes down to the ring to attack EJ. They brawl for a bit, and Hammerstone tackles Nduka through the stage. Hammerstone gets cut open.

Backstage, Fatu looks like he might cash in his title shot, which I guess he can do, but we go to ad break. I’m not sure if this’ll be fixed in post, but watching live, there was a production error where the Fatu segment flashed a few times on screen before the same Davey Boy hype package played. Fatu decided not to cash in because he wants Hammerstone clean.

Flammer and Taya will have a match in 2 weeks. I probably won’t care for it that much to be honest. Cesar leaves the building. Now the main event, Shun Skywalker vs Myron Reed for the middleweight title. Let’s go.

Davey is accompanying Shun to the ring. Alex Kane is on commentary. Myron and Shun start off hot with a lot of acrobatics. They tease a lockup, but don’t. Alex Kane says one of the commentators is being a fanboy for Davey and accuses him of having something more with Davey which is funny. Myron goes for a clothesline, but Shun dodges and kicks Myron in the gut. Myron whips, but Shun comes back and locks a hold on Myron’s leg. Myron takes the lead for a little, but Shun fights valiantly and hits a monkey flip.

Shun hits a nice tope, and we go to ads. We get more production errors during the ads. I also just realised Hammerstone kind of looks like the chad “yes” meme. Anyways, back to the show, Shun hits a big boot for a two count. He hits some chops on Myron. Myron goes to the top rope, doesn’t hit a move, but his a superkick on Shun and then gets him in a fireman’s carry and slams him off the ropes for a 2.5. Kane is still funny bickering with commentary.

Myron keeps Shun in the corner, but Shun whips him out. Myron whips Shun, though, but Shun gets a big dropkick on Myron. They fight for position and Myron gets a chop, but runs into a backelbow, chop and ddt. Shun goes for the ultima weapon, but Myron misses. Hey, if Mikey Bailey can barely hit it, I doubt you can, shun. Shun goes for a crucifix but drops Myron and hits the ultima weapon this time for a two.

Myron his a nice cutter on Shun. He even hits a big cutter on the outside to Shun. Myron goes for something from the top rope, but Shun hits an anti air dropkick and hits the SSW for a two count. Shun goes for a moonsault but gets hit by a cutter – a little sloppy, but it looked fine. Only a 2 count, though. Myron goes for a springboard cutter and some athletic shit goes down and they jockey for pins and Shun gets a surprise 3 for the win.

This was the first time I watched an episode as it aired. My verdict? I didn’t expect to really be that into Samoan SWAT Team but that opening match was pretty good for what it was. Juicy Finau is especially good at his role, and Lance had a damn fine tope. EJ’s match wasn’t bad, it was basically a squash. He looks alright and I wouldn’t mind seeing him face Hammerstone. The main was amazing, obviously match of the night. Shun is good, Myron is definitely good. I might watch some Dragon Gate, but I’ll definitely be looking forward to seeing more Myron.

I think the Hammerstone/EJ segment went on a little long, but it’s the main title program, so that’s to be expected. The calling card storyline was barely touched upon in any meaningful way and again, I think the recaps were unnecessary – especially to a promo we already saw earlier, but I’d say this was probably the best time management I’ve seen in an MLW show yet, and the main was awesome. As always, if you want a weekly hour of wrestling, you could do much worse. See you next time with my abridged NWA review.
