if i were to give my two cents, i think he may not wear it irl unless nahida (or you, if you're someone important to him) asks him to go undercover or just any good enough reason besides 'catching up with the latest trends' because he could care less about that.

don't take wanderer as someone averse to new things, though — heck, he even uses 'the divine favor' or a vision or whatever you wanna call that measly thing despite his absolute hate for gods because it's a new source of power — but this? his current clothes are perfectly fine, so new ones just for the sake of it are pointless. of course, if you say "because it makes you look good" to him as a reason, he'd smack you.

but in the case that he has to, i think he'd modify it a tiny bit. probably said it's too 'suffocating' and then pulled the collar down to his shoulders or smth because he loves seeing mortified expressions on people when he's "not doing something he's supposed to" LOL (what a twisted sense of mischief). jkjk, but he'd just adjust it to his own liking since well, you gave these to him so he can do whatever he wants with them, right?

how do you have different font and colours on your navi? usually tumblr only allows n or the other

hi there, anon! i tried my best to explain as best as i can, so bear with me here ;^;

for the fonts, the ones that you say tumblr allow (which i assume are quote, lucille, chat etc.) are only what tumblr itself provides; this doesn't stop you from copy pasting any fonts you'd like from another site. i personally use the igfonts.io site to change my font to different ones! >:)

as for the colors, it has a little something to do with HTML and i promise you this before you give up — you do not need to know how to code in order to use HTML for changing colors because i, for one, don't know how to code to save my life but can still do it!

firstly, you need to go on desktop and manually change your settings from "Rich Text" to "HTML" on your post (you can search up tutorials on google but make sure to specify "on tumblr"), then you can find a template code for changing font colors and just copy paste it into the code anywhere you'd like. iirc, the template code is:

<span style='color:[insert color hex code like #D4002A]'>[insert word/letter like hey there]</span> — and that is it!

i personally use this text colorizer site; there, you just have to type in whatever and choose the colors you want (it also allows different gradients) and it'll write the code for you! BUT when you copy paste it into your tumblr codes, you need to erase the semicolon (the ; symbol) after the color and you're done!

for more elaboration in case you want to use this site, it adds a semicolon after the color in the code given to you initially. so it'll be like this:

do you notice the blue semicolon after [insert color] and between that quotation mark i highlighted for you? yeah, get rid of that one thing and you're good to go!

Random Ayato hc I made a while back bc you’re conveniently married to him, and because why not? 😌

I think Ayato would find it incredibly endearing if you rope him into doing “childish” activities, like skipping giddily through an open field or dancing underneath the rain until both your hair and clothes are soaked. Although admittedly cliché, these moments are a wistful reminder of fond and carefree memories from years gone by. As such, they are precious to him, and he holds them close to his heart with steadfast devotion. For with you, he finds he is able to rekindle the wonder and innocence he believed had been left behind in his fleeting childhood so long ago.

^^^Slight allusion to his backstory as well since I feel it’s often overlooked/underrated. His character stories are insanely well-written and really portray his values and just who he is at the core. I could seriously go on and on about how good they are adkdsjkd 😭

AGHHHHH this is so beautiful i am holding back from malfunctioning!! first thing first, we shall not talk about such a minor detail that is my marriage of convenience .... my loyalty might have changed places, but it is still there 🥸

secondly — and i really, really need to inhale a deep breath for this — I AGREE!! ayato's backstory isn't as crazy deep as characters like ei or wanderer, but it fits because he isn't a character related to immortality and i think his story does a good job telling the story of someone who is in constant spotlight since childhood from a realistic perspective :(

this man's sense of (weird /j) humor will always be precious to me !!! i love how only those closest to him know about it which means they're the only ones he puts down the 'politician' persona around and can freely express himself with. not to mention, it must've been a lot for him when he had to 'grow up quickly' when his father died and he had to take on responsibility of cleaning his clan's name ... i wish this part was told more during his story quest <//3
