Pitstop Valley needed a community center. And because I'm really not a builder, I decided to make one anyway.

And because I really wanted a challenge - I made it CC free!

Welcome to the Pitstop Valley Community Center! You'll notice that one of its best features is its sunlit, spacious entryway.

Pitstop Valley's residents appreciate the community center as a place to hang out with friends and neighbors.

Just look at those big windows! All of that light, so lovely.

To the left of the front doors, we have the dining area.

It's nothing fancy, but it's a good place to stop to chat with friends, drink bad drip coffee, and catch up on gossip.

Just past the dining room is the community kitchen. Where people come to take cooking classes and participate in community dinners.

Lots of space to make a spaghetti! Or burn a cake!

Hallway area out to the library and the kid's playroom.

Small but cozy - the community library, with a few alcoves for relaxing in.

And outside of the library - the kids playroom! Full of donated toys.

The reading nook, and even more toys!

Back out in the hallway, past the bathrooms...

...we have the men's locker room...

...and the women's locker room...

...and the basketball court! Gooooo Mutants!

Go sports!

Just off the women's locker room is the aerobics room.

And just beyond that...

...is the computer room!

With posters put up over the windows to keep out the glare.

All of the 'art' is required.

On to the technical stuff...

The community center has lots of big, big windows and no lights. Why? Because Pitstop Valley is the home of my Apocalypse Challenge. According to the rules, if a member of the founding family has not cleared the Science restriction, no one can have lights.

There is no landscaping of any kind! Not only because the lot is pretty much all taken up by the building itself, but because no one has cleared the Natural Science restriction yet in Pitstop Valley.

It really is 100% CC FREE! I play with 'Mr DJ'.

This lot has been thoroughly playtested to make sure there are no weird glitches. But please - contact me if you see something weird so that I might be able to fix it!

Hi all! If any of you are readers of Apocalypse C.O.W, please know that part 2 of chapter 23 is coming soon!

Work has been unexpectedly busy (summer is supposed to be our slow season), which has been a factor. The chapter is actually like 85% done, but it’s been hard to find a long enough stretch of time to sit down and finish it. Some of the pictures have been ready to go since *January*.

But, I’m also not going to put something out that I’m not really really pleased with. I’m not one for pushing out something just because I want it finished. Besides, I find that time left in between edits of a draft helps crystallize stuck ideas!
