Closed Starter (Forgiven Secrets & Friends): Recovery

Violet stands next to the crib, watching Bee sleep with a soft smile. The last thing she wants to do is leave her daughter, but she needs to bring Daniel home. She'll be home soon, and then Bee will have both her parents here for her. They'll finally get to be a family together.

Stiles slips in the room with a bag full of everything she'll need for this mission. He gives her another moment before he holds it out to her. "You ready to go?" His voice is quiet, to keep from waking the other people in the house.

She looks up at him and nods, gently rubbing her thumb against the tattoo on the back of her other hand before she reaches out and takes the bag from him. With one last look to her daughter, she takes a deep breath and follows Stiles out of the bedroom.

They both slip back out into the hallway, doing their best to stay absolutely silent as they make their way to the door. Everyone wants to keep Violet here to rest and recover first, but none of them understand that she won't be able to until she gets him back. She pauses when she finally notices someone else waiting for them. "Are you gonna try and stop me?"

Robin Faulke walks up to Freddy with an innocent smile. She twirls her hair slightly as she meets his gaze, intent on compelling him. "Why don't you come with me, handsome?"

Aolani made his way to meet up with Adelphia after double checking that his girlfriend was safe. With a sigh, he waited patiently for her to meet him. Normally he wouldn’t play hero, but he was genuinely concerned for this girl. Nobody was willing to look for her, check in on her, make sure she was at least alive until Adelphia.

When she walked up, he offered a weak smile, “hey… so, any idea on where to start to look for your friend?”

Annie sighs as she knocks on the door, everything sort of running through her mind at such a rate she's not really cognizant of any of it, leaving her almost sort of neutrally...

Distant. But she forces herself to find something, anything, any of what's there to focus on, finally settling on him.

On Hakkai. She was here for Hakkai. He wasn't in great condition, but he was alive, and she could work with that. She could. He... had to be okay.

He would be okay, she decides optimistically. He's going to be fine. I'll make sure of it.

Closed Starter: Going to Be Okay (James/Ciri/Bonuses)

He's through the woods as fast as his legs can carrying him, clearing obstacles including a small flame, coughing but not stopping, never stopping.

He has to find her.

There is no other option.

James coughs as he bursts through the treeline, seeing her, not even seeing the others, running straight up--

Hitting a barrier and backing off slightly, his hand coming to his head, shaking himself off quickly and recovering. "CIRI!"

Cora looks up, alarmed. What the--? She looks to her brothers. Cal looks surprised and a bit confused.

Meredith has her head down, arms curled over her head. She'd stopped crying a long while ago. She didn't have any tears left. She doesn't look up at the cry. She didn't have any hope left, either.

Brandon Breyer glances to his sister and her counterpart, raising an eyebrow. Was that... his uncle, at a younger age?

Maruca's eyes widen and she looks to Atlas. They'd finally made it out here, for all the good it had been. Wylie looks up, lighting up with hope. It had to be, didn't it?

Closed Starter (Sense8 AU): Clusterfuck

Ozwell grins when he sees Laurian. He's reasonably sure it's not his Laurian, but goddamn he's hot in any universe. He starts making his way towards him eagerly, waving at him as he does.

Erin groans from where she's wandering the streets of Addersfield, looking for her sister. "Goddamnit, Ozwell, you better not be about to seduce some random guy just because he looks like your boyfriend."

Mariana snorts and shakes her head slightly. "It's Ozwell, of course he is."

Spencer goes to say something and doubles over in pain. He breathes through it, trying to keep it out of the bond as much as possible, if it even is possible. He's not entirely sure what's going on, but being here doesn't seem to agree with his existence. Wherever here is. He leans back against the wall where he's holed up, continuing to just listen to everyone else.

Sylvia hums, smiling as she watches Selene and Magnus playing tag and trying not to just fall apart. She hadn't seen Laurian or Ozria yet, and she had no idea if they were here or not. She wasn't entirely clear on where "here" really was, honestly. It looked like Addersfield, but there had been... some marked differences, beyond the general end of the world chaos she'd gathered was somewhat new.

She leans her head on Violet's shoulder. "I hope they're okay."

Closed Starter: Saved at Last (James/Perry/Voyagers)

It had taken a lot of work and James would 100% be lying if he said it was easy. It had been difficult. It had been very difficult. But gods, the work had been working out for them thus far, and they'd finally managed to make a rough path back towards Montressor. Home, they'd be able to get good food, supplies, and more of a crew, then get back to Earth and to Addersfield and get back to their lives.

Right now, he'd just appreciate getting the chance to rest. He leans against the side and smiles, appreciating the stars for a moment. Appreciating home, for a moment.

It was strange how it didn't quite feel like home, being out here, sailing the stars. He hadn't talked about it, but...

Something about it felt less like home than it used to, and he kept thinking of Addersfield, his dorm with Liam. He missed it. A lot more than he'd expected.

Laurian sighs, brushing hair from Ozria's face and holding her close to him, taking in the change of scenery. He's surprised to realize it's Addersfield, though... not the one he remembers from college.

One building still standing, he recognizes on sight. The Last Chapter stands, almost daring him. He brushes his daughter closer to him and turns them to walk away, not wanting, not able to acknowledge it, not really.

But he sees someone distantly, someone who seems to maybe have a sense of what's going on, or at least someone to ask. He starts towards the figure, calling out. "Hello?"

When she noticed him, he couldn’t help but stare confused. “Hope?… hi…. Are you okay? I thought I asked you not to get involved or put yourself in danger… why are you out here?”

Cassie winces as she turns up the dial on her headphones. Hearing all of the wreckage and commotion around town, it feels like burning in her ears. Her head feels as if it could split in two over the noise.

She takes several deep breaths, trying to focus. Come on, come on. She just needs to find him. She just needs to hear him. It takes her several moments to sift through all of the noise, but she finally finds him.

Once she knows where he is, she's off on a mad dash. She gets there as quick as she can, her heart pounding in her ears as she looks around for him. "Shane!"

Shane was honestly pretty fine throughout this whole debacle. He had been out shopping for groceries when everything went to shit and ended up spending his time helping some of the elderly into a safer place.

Currently, he was calming down some kids who had lost their parents through one of the earthquakes and was telling them the story of Mulan. Of course, he didn't like the soldier due to her transgressions against the royal family but the story was still decent to tell to scared kids.

Hearing his name he paused and turned in the direction of the voice knowing it instantly. "Cassie?"

The Hadley that answers the door is wearing a Starfleet cadet uniform and grinning like the cat who caught the canary. She turns back into the apartment and yells, “Your boyfriend’s here!” 

Hadley pinches her nose and sighs, beginning to walk towards the door. “He’s not my--” She shakes her head and sighs deeply. This argument is pointless, and she refuses to keep having it. 

“I hate you,” She says as she makes it to the door, looking to Navin for some sort of sympathy. “I hate her. Do you see what I have to put up with, Chicken? This is why I didn’t want to do this alone. Am I always this annoying?”

Robin smiles brightly as she knocks on Freddy's door. She'd gotten there, probably a bit faster than she should've, but she was eager to check on him after everything. With everything still going on, she just wants to make sure he's still okay. At least, that's what she keeps telling herself.

Freddy looks up from where he's sat on the couch, considering his options. He's about to call out that the door is open before remembering that she is, in fact, a vampire, sighing and getting his crutches back together and pulling himself up, coming over and opening it in a few moments. "Hey. I'm glad you're here. Please, come on in."

Stiles shows up at Nova's in record time, absolutely worried sick about Meredith. She'd been missing since this all started, and with Nova's message about Ciri, he worries his worst fears about what might've caused this might actually be true. As worried and terrified as he is, he takes a deep breath before he walks in the door. The last thing Meredith needs to see is him all freaked out right now. "I'm here. What happened?"

Nova looks up, silently glancing to Meredith with the vaguest shake of her head as she remarks, "I'm wondering the same thing. But right now you need to eat. Soup's almost done. You just need to stay awake for it right now."

Meredith waves her off weakly. "I'm fine, mom," with a small teasing tone that doesn't reach her face, curling up slightly into a ball again almost reflexively as her stomach growls rather aggressively.
