LUIZA MONTEIRO ARMLOCK // In this week's #BaleiasBreakdown video, we look back at the super slick armlock from the triangle, executed recently by Atos Jiu-Jitsu athlete, @luizamonteirobjj over Checkmats Catherine Ferret. - - The submission came off of Catherines passing attempt on Luizas De la Riva guard. Notice the 3 crucial grips made that allowed for this technique to happen. - - After pushing off and eliminating Luizas left de la riva hook, Catherine reached underneath Luizas leg for a peculiar grip, perhaps to set up a stack pass. Luiza took the opportunity to pull Catherines left arm through as she already had grips on that side. With the arm now through, Luiza was able to elevate her hips to trap Catherines head and arm in a triangle position.
