Autumn's Flags

In a forest ablaze with autumn's fiery hues,

With my thoughts, quiet woofs, and stray moos,

Amidst the rustling leaves and a gentle breeze's play,

With a tail wag, my loyal friend and I went on our way.

The trees decorated in shades of crimson and gold,

We're all wrapped in chunky sweaters against the cold.

A pumpkin patch nearby, its bright orange on display,

We ventured forth toward the harvest in full array.

With knitted scarves and chunky sweaters snug,

We strolled through nature on an autumnal rug.

A stunning corn maze with a scarecrow in place,

Amid fields of cornstalks to rid crows from the space.

Beneath the harvest moon with cider in our hands,

We marveled at vocals from rocking live bands.

Bonfires crackled, casting a warm, dull light,

A dance of shadows under the starry night.

So let us cherish these autumn memories tight,

like the embrace of a hug in the moon's soft light.

It's all about the laughter and excited tail-wags,

dancing under never-ending leaves like autumn's flags.
