#my art #dracula #dracula daily #the demeter #im so mad i finished drawing THEN realised i couldve drawn it from the back so that the wheel forms a halo & the rosarys directly overhead #but i was too focused on the idea of the captains corpse being in a praying pose AAAAA #based the background bit off nautical compass roses and sun illustrations #agh im still mad abt missing out on combining nautical and religious imagery but im reluctant to redraw #took some creative liberty in that the crucifix is in his hand rather than tied to the wheel. kept there by rigor mortis if you like #cw death #in a way?
