Henry Bowers x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1162 words
Warnings: Henry is cruel about the reader’s weight.
Summary: Henry isn’t capable of letting anyone get close to him
——————————————————————————————————
You never planned to be in this position.
Under Henry Bowers, his hot breath fanning your face, your body sandwiched between his own and the leather backseat of Belch Huggins Trans Am.
You knew better than anyone that before moving to Derry, you never would have even given a thug like him the time of day, but there was just something about him.
Something about this place that just forced your hand.
To be fair though, you liked Henry.
You really liked Henry or else you wouldn’t be here in the first place but there was one thing gnawing at you even as he peppered kisses to your neck.
...Henry was a bad guy.
In all the time since you and Ben had moved to Derry, he had been making your brother’s life a living hell, along with his friends. There was no other way to explain it.
Henry liked to torment other people, especially those he deemed weaker than him and that wasn’t something anyone should have just brushed off.
He’d practically mutilated your brother a few days ago, carving into him like a ham on christmas but you still agreed to come out with him tonight.
In a lot of ways, it made you no better than him.
What was wrong with you?
Clearly, a lot.
You knew that if he wasn’t attracted to you, there was a good chance Henry would have treated you just as poorly. In fact, you were almost sure of it.
You just couldn’t bring yourself to care.
“What are you thinking about?” Henry asked finally, separating from you ever so slightly in an attempt to look you in the face. It was dark, especially in the backseat, but he could see well enough.
You were thinking about something, Henry knew that much.
This had been your idea, getting in the backseat, but now that you were here, the faint taste of cigarette on your tongue, you weren’t nearly as enthusiastic as you had been.
...And you weren’t even sure why.
By all accounts, Henry Bowers was hot.
He was a bad boy with an attitude and reputation to match, though he clearly had a soft spot somewhere, even if you hadn’t quite cracked the code yet.
It was like catnip for a girl like you, but that pesky fact was just gnawing at you.
He was a bully, and a real jerk when he wanted to be. There was no way that you could avoid that sort of thing, even if you did like having his hands all over you.
“Do you like me? Or, is this all we are?” you wondered, genuinely curious. Frankly, you didn’t care either way but it would be nice to clarify first.
After all, if Henry just wanted to spend time with you in the dead of night, jammed in the back of his buddy’s car, that was fine by you. It just wasn’t lost on you that there was a potential for him to care about you.
In some ways, Henry was a broken toy and you’d always had a soft spot for people like that. Not to mention if he kept humming in your ear like that, your heart would probably burst.
You just wanted to make sure that he knew what he was getting into.
“What kind of question is that?” He groaned, leaning down to capture your bottom lip between his teeth briefly, biting down just hard enough to make you wince.
What more could you have expected from him, really?
“I’m just wondering if the kissing bridge is all I’m good for or if you’re gonna call me next time your pops pistol-whips you” you shrugged, admittedly being a little harsh.
You couldn’t help it.
Henry was harsh all the time, the least you could do was give him a taste of his own medicine on occasion.
You two hadn’t known each other for very long in the grand scheme of things but you could tell well enough that he was the sort of man who had to be baited into conversation.
...And you had no problem doing that.
He may have been rough around the edges, but he had no clue what he was dealing with as far as you were concerned. You may have looked like a sweet summer child, but you would be the death of him if he wasn’t careful.
“How did you-?” he started, but stopped as soon as you reached around, gingerly running your fingernail over the raised flesh of a scar along his spine.
You weren’t an idiot.
You may not have cared about very many people but you were perceptive enough. There had to be some reason he was so cruel right? You just assumed his bastard father was the culprit.
“This is fine, don’t get me wrong. I just don’t want you to fall in love with me” you teased, giving him a small wink that he just barely caught, still floundering some.
Now, you weren’t sure what it was exactly that made him act the way he did. Maybe it was because you’d struck a nerve, or maybe it was because you were right. In any case, you earned an eye roll from him. It took a second, but it did come, after he’d got himself back together, all proof of your earlier makeout long gone.
All he could do now was try to figure out how he could get the upper hand in this situation  and once he’d decided he couldn’t, he did the only other thing he knew to do.
He got mad.
“Get out”
It was little more than a mutter and even in the close quarters the two of you were holding right now, you just barely caught it. However, when you made no motion to move, he got more upset.
“I said get out! Get your lard ass out of the car” he yelled, shocking you at that.
You should have seen it coming, as Henry frequently acted like every other person in the world was nothing more than a mirror for his hatred. However, you thought you didn’t count in that regard. You thought you’d made it pretty clear that you weren’t just some kid he could bully.
Sure, whatever it was you two shared, it wasn’t all that personal but you thought it would at least keep him from being cruel but you were wrong.
This was who he really was.
You were tempted to speak, but upon seeing his reflection there, only lit by the faint glow of the streetlight a few feet away, you stopped. He had his arms crossed, jaw tensed as he stared out the window.
“Tell your dad I said hi” you spit, crawling over the front seat and out of the car, letting the door slam behind you without any care for the noise.
You should have known better than to think that he could ever actually care for anyone.

The Bowers Gang Being Overprotective Of Their Sister-Like Best Friend
Tumblr media
Request: Can you do a bowers gang x reader where the boys see the reader as a little sister and protect her to an annoying degree. PS love your work
A/N: This request is literally a year old and I am so sorry for the long loooong wait anon. Thank you for waiting this damn long and being patient with me
Warnings: None
You had been friends with Henry since you were kids
Then Reggie came
And Vic
Then Patrick
And your little messy ass family was viewed as completely
You loved your boys
You really did
But that didn't mean you wanted them to prevent you from going after any guy
Or especially any guy from going after you
The second you show any interest in a guy they dig up all the dirt they can on him
Or if it's the other way around...
Dear lord
Needless to say getting threatened by the entire Bowers Gang is more than enough crush replant
However on the few occasions where your boys didn't scare a guy away right from the jump
Just give them a few group hang outs
That should do it
But on some miracle that also doesn't happen
This man better hope he treats you right
Not only would you be on his ass
But having a target THAT BIG on your back
Yeah you have a death wish
But honestly while annoying
You know your boys mean well
And most of the time they luck out
Since the ones they scare away the quickest...
Usually end up being the ones who would hurt you the most
And when you do get your heart broken
Well expect your boys to be ready to take your mind off of things
Each having their own techniques
Some working better than others
One of them always tailing you at a party
Of course they can't have anyone trying to drug their girl
At the very least their protectiveness doesn't apply to how much you drink
Most of the time anyway
Like girl if you're on a bender Reggie would step in and get you to walk away before you hurt yourself
So if you get a hang over they're at your door the next day
With random hangover cures
Overall the five of you just look after each other

His Business
Tumblr media
Patrick Hockstetter x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1570 words
Warnings: reader gets hit, but not descriptive
Summary: Reader (Henry’s kid sister) and Patrick are dating. However, they keep it a secret until they can’t anymore.
———————————————————————————————————
Patrick cared about you a lot...or, at least as much as he could.
He wasn't the kind of guy to take you on romantic dates or bring you flowers and candy on valentines day. He didn't go out of his way to make sure you knew how much he loved you, not in the traditional sense anyway.
Patrick showed love in his own unique way.
He slid his hand in the back pocket of your jeans when you walked together or let you doodle up the entirety of his arm in black pen. Sometimes, he even called you cute little pet names like "punk" or "kid."
It wasn't exactly a fairytale but when it came to being with Patrick, you didn't want one. All you wanted was him, with all his issues and faults.
The only trouble was that you weren't able to actually be with him in public.
If you so much as looked at him for too long when you were all together, Henry would have a cow. There was no way you could actually date out in the open-it just wasn't an option.
At least, not right now.
"Hey dickhead, I sit in the front!" Henry barked, shoulder-checking Vic out of the way. The school day had just wrapped up for the weekend, and like every day, you had to catch a ride home with Henry and his friends.
Belch was the only one of Henry's friends who drove, and as much as he fought it at first, your dad didn't want you walking to school all alone. It was dangerous with all the kidnappings, so you had to tag along with them.
Where the Bowers gang went, you went, which wasn't always a bad thing.
"Looks like you're stuck in the back with us" Patrick sneered, gesturing between your two bodies and Victor.
Now, you were by no means the smallest of the three of you but due to your inferior age, you got stuck in the middle. Something that Patrick happily suggested, though he dropped his smile after a few seconds.
He didn't want to be too suspicious, after all.
Patrick personally didn't mind the idea of beating Bowers up if he needed to, but for your sake, the two of you had agreed to keep your relationship a secret. However, it any of the boys had looked closer, they would have put the pieces together.
As the two of you sat in the backseat, you between both Vic and Patrick, the latter kept bumping your thigh with his own, keeping your two bodies touching. On top of that, every time Belch would go around a corner, you slipped closer and closer to the greasy teen.
...Something neither of you was complaining about.
Though, you had no choice but to cover your blush, shying away from his sly whispers in your ear and sideways glances. He was only going to get the two of you in trouble.
Luckily for you, all three boys remained oblivious to your constant flirting.
For the most part, you were pretty good at keeping it hidden. The two of you didn't even talk about one other, until of course, you needed him.
Butch could get a little rough with both you and Henry, though Henry had always taken the brunt of his anger. You tried to keep to yourself for the most part, whereas your older brother had taken a more aggravated approach.
He constantly was getting into scream fights, which turned into all out fist fights with your dad-fights that Henry would always lose.
However, Henry couldn't always be there to take the punches for you. Like today for example, Henry and the boys had dropped you off at the house before heading off toward the quarry.
Which meant that you had to go through the backdoor all alone, if you were lucky your dad had skipped going to the bar after work. He was always more mean when he was fully loaded.
...But you were never that lucky.
As soon as you came through the door, you heard him, yelling at whatever was currently pissing him off. The noise startled you, preoccupying you from quietly closing the door like you normally would.
Instead the door slammed behind you, making you flinch.
If you had done it right, you would have been able to sneak upstairs without alerting him of your presence but that wasn't going to happen now. You could already hear him, getting up from the recliner.
His footsteps were heavy as he made his way over to you, already yelling. You were vibrating with nerves as he turned the corner, your blood running cold.
~
The actual events resulting from his rage were all a blur in your mind. It was more or less just a lot of pain, too quickly occurring to recall, not that you would if you could. Instead, you ran from the house.
You didn't have any particular destination in mind. You just knew that you had to get as far away from there as humanly possible. The last thing you wanted was to accidentally run into Butch again.
After you cleared the house, you slowed your pace, your heart hammering in your chest. You weren't all that sure what had actually happened, meaning that you weren't sure about the damage.
As far as you could tell, it wasn't as bad as it had been before.
However, as soon as you reached the shore of the quarry, all hell broke loose. As soon as Patrick saw you, he ran out of the water, not stopping until he reached your side.
"What the fuck happened?" he yelled, his hands gingerly holding your face, trying to get a better look at you. You clearly didn't realize it but there was blood dripping from a scratch on your face, already bruising all around it.
He was gonna kill whoever the fuck thought it was a good idea to lay a hand on you.
...If only he knew.
"Pat, stop" you pleaded in a soft whisper. He was drawing too much attention, standing too close to you. One of the guys were bound to notice something if he didn't knock it off.
But trying to reason with Patrick right now wasn't really an option. He was far too angry to give a shit about the opinion of your brother or any of his friends. None of that mattered at a time like this.
He was hardly breathing, red in the face as he tried to calm himself. You two had talked about this, he knew that right now you needed him more than his anger but he couldn't help it.
If he had been with you, this wouldn't have happened.
Though, before he could really focus on calming down, there was a touch on his shoulder...it was Henry.
"Don't touch my sister man" he ordered, looking between the two of you with a dark curiosity in his eyes. He had no idea what was going on, but whatever it was, he hated it.
Patrick couldn't help but roll his eyes.
Of all the things he needed right now, this didn't even make the top ten. Henry's biggest problem should have been the state of your face but he really didn't seem all that shocked.
He just wanted to knock some sense into the shorter man.
"Are you serious? Look at her Bowers" he ordered, gesturing wildly to the state of your face. You knew that he wasn't going to hurt you but flinched out of habit. His hands were just a little to close.
As soon as he saw your reaction, Patrick melted. He never wanted you to feel like you were in any kind of real danger with him. He liked to tease you and make you uncomfortable sometimes, but not like this.
It made him sick to see you act like that.
"It's none of your business, step back" he suggested, lightly shoving the taller man to try to put distance between you.
However, Patrick wasn't going to back down like that.
"She's my fucking girlfriend, I'm pretty sure it's my business" he barked back, shoving Henry in turn. He hadn't meant to do it, but Henry had crossed a line. If anything, you were his business.
You were more of his business than you were Henry's. He sure as hell cared more about your well-being than he did.
You assumed that the two teens were gonna go at it but they didn't. As soon as the words left Patrick's lips, Henry stopped. He wasn't sure if he should be angry or what but in all honesty, he wasn't surprised.
Sure, he didn't like the idea but of all the things he frequently thought about, you weren't really one of them. Henry just wasn't the touchy feely kind.
"I don't wanna see that shit, not ever-you understand me?" he grumbled, waving his finger between the two of you. He didn't give a damn what you two did, but if he every had to witness it, he would lose his mind.
All you could do was nod, unsure now why you'd waited so long to tell him. It shouldn't have surprised you that Henry wouldn't care. Henry didn't really care about anything at all.
...But now you had a bigger problem-You had to keep Patrick from killing your dad for what he did to you.

Bowers Gang; First Kiss HC
Henry:
Henry likes to give off the illusion that he knows and has done everything, at all times, but that isn’t necessarily the case. As far as kissing goes, for example, he has no idea what he’s doing. He’d never actually kissed a girl before, even if he liked to act like he had, and didn’t want you to know that. It was embarrassing, and emasculating, which Henry couldn’t stand. However, you didn’t seem to actually notice that, or at the very least, if you did, you didn’t say anything about it to him.
~Even being relatively inexperienced with this sort of thing, there are just some things that are never going to change. Henry is super aggressive by nature and his first kiss is, in no way, going to be an exception to that rule.
~His touches are heavy handed and rushed, like a teenager making out for the first time is supposed to be.
~It would be much more awkward than you would ever admit, for both of you. There is just this level of inexperience clouding your first kiss in a way that makes it hard to enjoy. However, it is far from the last time you and Henry would kiss one another.
~It would take some time to get him to soften up and relax, to be more sweet but it isn’t necessarily impossible.
~The two of you kiss a lot, and every time, it gets better. You and Henry would learn together, and improve as all couples did as they grew, but you would never really forget the soft, uncertain motions Henry made that first time.
~The memory itself is endearing.
Patrick
Patrick was the most confident kisser ever, even though he hadn’t actually ever kissed anyone before when you met. He’d never experienced it personally but that didn’t mean he hadn’t seen it on tv or in movies. He understood the basics and for a man like him, that was all he needed. The rest he could figure out on his own, and it didn’t hurt you’d be there too. If anyone was going to get him to do something he’d never done before, it was you.
~He would probably sweet talk you leading up to the kiss, towering over you with that grin of his on his face. For him, the whole thing was hilarious because for him, everything was one big joke.
~But it was something else too.
~The two of you were close, closer than he’d ever been with another person but kissing you took it a step further, and changed the relationship you shared. It definitely interested him.
~Not to mention the way you were looking at him. Patrick wouldn’t be able to resist making you his after everything you’d already been through. This just seemed like the natural first step.
~Nips at your bottom lip for sure, maybe a little too hard only to laugh when you pull away from him.
~Pat turns everything into a game, and kissing you for the first time or the hundredth time, it wouldn’t make a difference, it was all a game. A game that he intended to win, whatever that meant.
~This boys lips are soft as hell. You wouldn’t have ever thought they would be given the fact that he wore the same pair of grey jeans every day and only washed his hair twice a week, but they are.
Belch
Belch had never been more nervous in his entire life. Usually, he was cool as a cucumber, doing whatever he wanted or needed to do, but never when it came to you. Where you were concerned, he was always cautious, worried he would make some kind of mistake or cross a line that you weren’t ready for. Though, eventually, the two of you were bound to get to the point where you were ready to take your relationship to the next level. You were in a relationship, after all.
~His palms were all sweaty and clammy, held tightly at his sides like if he were to let them go, his fingers would physically fall off his hand. He just couldn’t make himself relax, his jaw tight and knees shaking slightly under the pressure.
~It was a lot to take on at once.
~Belch really liked you and the last thing he wanted to do was mess up the great relationship you two had already. You held hands any chance you got and that was enough for him if you weren’t sure.
~He didn’t want to make it weird.
~Belch would probably be rambling under his breath the entire time, petrified that he would make a wrong move or say something he shouldn’t. Naturally, he would assume he was being quiet but you could hear every word, loud and clear.
~All you had to do to get him to relax though was take his hands in your own. As soon as he felt your skin on his own and let himself actually look you in the face, he relaxed quite a bit.
~You made him feel safe and that was never going to change.
~Also, I am 100% convinced this man smells like pine. Don’t ask me why, I just know it to be true.
Vic
Victor is super sweet, in general, but he’s never sweeter than with you. There’s just something about you that brings the best out in him. He finds himself thinking about it more and more, about what it would be like to feel your lips against his own until he finally makes a move. Its a little strange, as he tries to maneuver his way around how awkward this whole thing is for you both, but it doesn’t take too long for you to figure it out. After all, it’s just Vic.
~He would want to go super slow, constantly making sure that everything he was doing was okay and you were ready for it. There’s no good way to tell how much you're both ready for until you’re in that moment.
~Vic doesn’t find a ton of comfort in other people, and it’s kind of new for him to do so, especially physically, but once he got to that point with you, it seemed like the thing to do.
~Holds your face lightly before, during, and after the kiss. It makes him feel closer to you, even while he’s being so vulnerable, and he likes the way your breath speeds up when he holds you tight like that.
~Presses a million kisses to your cheeks and forehead immediately after kissing your lips, just because he can.
~Victor feels like he’s on top of the world and nothing in the world can stop him. After that first kiss, he constantly has his lips on you.

The Quarry
Tumblr media
Bowers Gang x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1877 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Reader is terrified to swim with the boys in the quarry. She is worried about what they’ll think about her body, which she’s hidden from them up until now.
———————————————————————————————————
Objectively, you should have assumed that going to the quarry with the gang would involve you all getting undressed but for some reason, that simple fact that slipped your mind.
You didn't think about it until the Trans Am pulled into the dirt parking area atop the mountain that you would actually have to jump off in order to get into the water below.
Water that you couldn't get into in your jeans and hoodie.
No one in their right mind would jump into the water fully clothed, but that didn't change the fact that you didn't want to do it. None of the guys had ever seen you that bare before and it made you nervous.
It was easy to hang out with them when you could cover up with your over-sized clothes and be comfortable...but there would be no hiding as soon as you shed that safety net. All of your friends were going to see you, and that air of comfort would melt away forever. There would be no going back once they saw you.
"What are you doing?" Henry asked, pulling his own shirt over his head as the other guys all did the same. The five of you had been planning to go swimming for quite some time but now that you were all here, you were hesitating.
It didn't make sense to Henry, who had been waiting for this day to come all week long. It was the only escape he got from his shitty life, and you didn't seem even a little excited.
"I just don't know if I feel like swimming today" you lied, shrugging your shoulders as if nothing could be done to change your mind. Anything was better than telling him, or the other boys, the truth.
Patrick, for one, would never let you live it down if he knew that you were scared to let them see you.
And of course he wouldn't understand, he'd never had to feel that way about his own body. It wasn't something he'd ever even thought about, and you weren't about to explain it to him, or Henry, or Vic, or Belch.
It wasn't going to happen.
All you had to do was just stay strong and not let them see everything you'd worked so hard to keep hidden. How hard could it be?
"What do you mean? I couldn't get you to shut up about this place earlier" Belch piped up, his frame emerging from the other side of the car, now only covered by his Back to the Future boxers.
He had a point.
You had been looking forward to this, but that was before you realized what it would mean.
By now, all four boys were stripped down and ready to go, but before anything, they had to figure out what was going on with you. With nothing else to focus on but why they weren't currently in the water, all their attention fell solely on you.
"Come on Princess, you can swim...we aren't gonna let anything get ya" Patrick teased, assuming that your hesitance came from a fear of the height or the jump into the deep water.
If only it could be so simple.
You smiled slightly, turning your attention away from Henry, to the much taller Patrick. He had his eyes locked on you already but didn't shift away from you.
That was one of the most impressive things about Pat, he couldn't be intimidated.
Perhaps it had something to do with his slight insanity, but whatever it was...you needed some of it about now.
"I believe you Patrick, but it's not about that" you huffed, getting more and more frustrated as you kept going. There just weren't the right words to explain what you were dealing with.
Especially not in a way that any of the boys would understand.
He hummed, trying to get you to continue but you couldn't do it. It wasn't until Victor joined in the powwow that you were actually able to catch your breath. He had always been the most in touch with himself, and his emotions...it made you feel better.
It made it easier to get your words out, without feeling so afraid of their judgement. The worst that would happen was Patrick laughing, and Henry joking about it for years afterword.
You could always just put your clothes back on and go home, if it went that badly.
"I'm scared" you started, taking a deep breath again before continuing. All four boys were standing around you now, so close that you could hit each of them with your knees if you moved the right way.
They were worried about you, but each showed it in their own way.
Patrick was more distant, but still kept that calculated gaze on your face. He would have killed to keep you happy, but wasn't too outward with his expression of that.
Henry kept it calm, though you could tell from the rigid way that he was standing that he was just as prepared to obliterate what had upset you.
That left Vic, who was more focused on your words than any of the others. He was committing ever single syllable to memory, so he could talk you down. He had always been the best with his words.
Not to mention Belch, who by this point was holding your hand tightly in his own, letting you know in his own way that he was there.
"Scared of what?" Henry asked, his arms folded across his chest.
His voice wasn’t angry or aggressive toward you, he just wanted to know. If there was something that was bothering you, he and the guys would do whatever it took to make it better.
But before that could happen, you had to tell them what was up. There was no way they could take care of it if you didn’t open up.
“I don’t wanna get undressed in front of you guys, I don’t want you to see me” you huffed, giving up. You were tired of having to justify yourself to the guys, knowing that they’d never understand.
As soon as the words left your lips, you closed your eyes, expecting the boys to ridicule you. However, the jokes never came.
Instead, when you opened your eyes, they were all looking at you. They had curious looks in their eyes.
More than anything, they were just confused at what you meant.
As far as they could tell, there was nothing wrong with you. Sure, they’d never really paid too much attention toward what your body looked like under your clothes...with the exception of Patrick.
However, the idea that you were actually scared to show them was something else entirely. They could all be dicks in their own right, and they knew that but not to you.
The worst you had to deal with from them was a little bit of teasing and moodiness. Never would they actually make you feel bad about yourself. “Come on Y/N, We aren’t gonna say anything” Henry groaned, gesturing toward the lake below, that was just waiting for you to jump in.
You wanted nothing more than to just dive off the side of the cliff into the crystal waters below but you could hardly breathe. What they were asking you to do was nearly enough to make your heart stop.
“What if we don’t look?” Belch suggested, holding his hands up to cover his eyes. It was a childish suggestion, but might just be what you needed...strangely enough.
You nodded, waiting for the four of them to cover their wandering eyes before slowly stripping down right there in the open. If they had been anyone else, you would have just went home and given up but you had no reason to be scared of the guys.
They cared about you, no matter how cagey some of the members of the Bowers gang may have been about showing it. Hell, even Patrick was being a gentleman about this, holding his hands in front of his face as much as he didn’t want to.
You were giving him a chance to finally check out that rocking bod you had and you weren’t even going to let him...it was cruel. However, he understood that if you needed the privacy, he needed to give you that.
Maybe you’d show him later if he asked nicely, to reward him for his respect and patience in this instance.
A guy could only hope.
“Okay, I’m ready” you allowed, taking a deep breath. You kept your eyes closed, not wanting to see any of their reactions when they dropped their hands, though no one said anything.
Silence was a good sign, wasn’t it?
No one was laughing, so that was a plus.
When you opened your eyes, you half expected them to be gone, but that wasn’t the case. Instead, you found four teenage boys, all standing in their underwear, staring at you with wide eyes.
“What?” you wondered, not liking the silence the longer it persisted. The Bowers gang were known for being a group of loud mouth thugs and it wasn’t like them to be at a loss for words.
But there weren’t words for how each boy was feeling in turn.
They had been your closest friends since middle school but the idea of seeing you as anything more than one of the guys was never an option for them...until now.
You were very clearly, not one of the guys.
“How have you been keeping this from us for so long, sweetness?” Patrick asked, that sly grin finding its way onto his face the longer he admired every inch of your exposed flesh.
You shouldn’t have been shocked by that, with Patrick being the pervy, creep that you knew and loved but you were. Never in your life had you thought that they would actually be anything other than disgusted by you.
After having a look around however, you realized that they were very much not disgusted.
Henry looked as if his eyes may actually pop out of his skull, Vic was red in the face, and Belch couldn’t even look at you without feeling all flustered. It was almost funny.
“Don’t tease Pat, it isn’t funny” you pouted, folding your arms across your chest, which earned a slight groan from Henry, who was more or less drooling at this point.
The idea that he’d been driving around with you this whole time, with you looking like that, was killing him.
“Trust me, we know” he winked, adjusting himself in his shorts in a comical, and frankly cringey manner.
The only thing that saved it was the fact that he knew he was playing up the creep factor for your benefit, so you laughed.
“Alright, enough...Can we please go swimming now?” you begged, heading over to the edge of the cliff, getting ready for the best dive of your life.
When you hit the water, you knew that you’d never have to worry about your body around those boys ever again.
If you got that reaction every time you stripped down, perhaps you’d have to do it more often.

The Clown
Tumblr media
Henry Bowers x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1447 words
Warnings: Pennywise
Summary: Penny needs a better way to get to the teens of Derry, so *he* gets the reader to help.
———————————————————————————————————
You first came in contact with the clown in a dream, or at least, you thought it was a dream.
Everything was pitch black, leaving you in the center of your now empty bedroom with nothing more than a voice to keep you company. It was a sort of funny voice, with an odd, theatrical sort of tone.
Still, you couldn't help the chill that ran up your spine as you listened.
"Hello there Y/N, couldn't sleep?" it called, startling you more when it spoke your name. You had no idea what was happening but you knew better than to argue, assuming that this was nothing more than a lucid dream.
You had been known to have those in the past, so it wouldn't surprise you if that was happening now.
All you had to do was play along and before you knew it, you would wake up in your bed again.
"I'm pretty sure I am sleeping" you answered, a slight laugh at the end of your sentence. You were really curious, more than anything, as to what this mystery voice was.
All fear or concern had left with the assumption that this was all make believe and you were just after a good time now. Your brain had come up with some weird shit in the past, but nothing quite like this.
You looked around the pitch black room, finding that you couldn't even see your hand in front of you face. It was super trippy, but you shrugged it off, deciding to ask the mystery voice a question this time.
You couldn't help it, if curiosity killed the cat, then you were a tabby.
"Who are you? Why can't I see you?" you wondered, your voice echoing back to you off the walls. It was a pretty simple question, as far as you were concerned but still, you were only met with silence.
At first.
After waiting a few moments, the room was full with the sound of, what you thought, was crying.
"I think you'll be afraid of me" the voice called, sniffling like a child as the sound met your ears. You had no idea what was going on, but you knew one thing...you had to lay off the acid.
If you weren't dreaming, this was the worst trip you'd ever had.
"Afraid of you? That's not very likely" you grumbled, wishing that you had a cigarette right about now. This stupid disembodied voice was getting on your nerves. However, as soon as you said that, the crying stopped.
It was replaced by a slight laughter, like a far off giggling.
"And why is that?" you heard, rolling your eyes at the trivial questions. This was the most annoying dream you'd ever had, and you were just about over it. "Because, I'm not afraid of anything" you allowed, running your hands through your hair.
As soon as those words left your lips, the room wasn't empty anymore. In front of you was a clown, much taller than you with a smile on his face. He introduced himself as Pennywise, and told you that he needed your help...with a game.
You smiled, after he'd finished telling you his little story. Maybe this dream wasn't as boring as you thought it was.
Once he was finished telling you what he needed, you woke up in your bed, with only the memory of what you'd seen. In fact, you would have just waved it of completely, if it wasn't for the scribbling on your wall.
Don't be afraid of the clown
~
After the events of last night, which you'd pretty much come to the conclusion had actually happened, you decided that doing as the clown asked was your best chance.
You had never really had much care for the people of Derry anyhow, and playing around with a creepy clown was the most fun you'd been offered in all your time here.
However, agreeing to help Pennywise meant that you'd have to convince Bowers to do the same.
You didn't really know why the clown wanted him, since you could do anything Henry could but you knew better than to ask questions. If nothing else, Henry Bowers was dispensable and could take the blame.
After all, Pennywise had made it pretty clear that people were going to die...and you weren't exactly in the mood to spend the next few decades in an asylum.
-But what was the best way to convince him?
You asked yourself that question over and over again as you huffed on your cigarette, watching him and his gang from across the courtyard. The last class of the day had just let out, not that you'd been in it.
All that meant for you was that you had a perfect opportunity to introduce yourself to him. Getting him on board with what you were proposing would be a process but if anyone could do it, it was you.
Few people were twisted enough in the head to actually agree to what the clown had suggested to you but Henry was a man, and you were sure that you could get him to come around.
It wasn't until your eyes fell on Belch Huggins Trans Am that it hit you...
Without missing a beat, you stood from the bench you'd been perched on and made your way over to where they were. "Hey guys, Give me a ride?" you called, not even bothering to introduce yourself.
The five of you had been in class together for a while, but you'd never actually met.
The closest you got to interacting with any of them was when Patrick offered to do you in the junk yard, followed by his asking you about your tongue piercing. He was kind of a creep but you didn't mind him.
He thought that he was dangerous, but in all honesty, you thought he was kind of a pussy. Though, when he offered to show you his fridge, you had to admit that you were a little intrigued.
Patrick was twisted, but not in the way that you needed. Pennywise wanted his anger, something that Pat just didn't have. He found joy out of torture but he didn't have that rage behind it.
Henry was the only one who could do this.
All four teens looked at you like you'd lost your mind but there was something different in each of their gazes. Vic and Belch looked confused, probably because they weren't sure where they knew you from. Patrick was sizing you up, like he always was-like a predator after its prey.
It wasn't until you locked eyes with Henry that you felt something different. He was studying you as you walked toward them, admiring you but not in any way that you recognized.
"My bike's in the shop, and I don't want to walk in this shitty weather" you lied, gesturing to the blazing sun that, when you were dressed in leather and lace, was the enemy. Belch nodded, careful not to keep his eyes on your body for too long.
He didn't want it to be super obvious that you were the most metal, beautiful girl that he'd ever seen. Not that it mattered...because you were looking at Henry for approval.
"You have a motorcycle?" Patrick blurted, slouching as he stood, his tongue running over his teeth. You had to admit that if he was a little more hardcore, you would have climbed that man like a tree, but he came with too much baggage.
All you did was nod in his direction before looking at Henry again, closing the distance between the two of you slowly. You didn't stop until you were close enough to lay a hand on his shoulder, your painted nails scrapping lightly at the fabric of his shirt.
"What do you say Bowers? Are you gonna make me walk in this heat?" you purred, biting lightly into your bottom lip.
Part of you expected him to melt in front of you, in the way that most guys did but Henry didn't budge. Instead, he backed up so that your hand fell to your side, and turned back to Belch and the running Trans Am.
"You can sit in the back, with Pat and Victor" he grumbled, sliding into the passenger side without so much as a look in your direction.
Maybe this wasn't going to be as easy as you thought.
However, you weren't worried. There was more than one way to skin a cat, so maybe you just had to find another way to get under his skin.
It shouldn't be too hard.
...And you knew just what to try next.

Harmless Fun
Tumblr media
Patrick Hockstetter x Plus size!reader Bowers Gang  x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1867 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Richie had a crush on Eddie’s older sister, who just so happens to be dating Pat Hockstetter. The older boy is very territorial and decides to teach the younger man who you belong too.
———————————————————————————————————
Richie'd had a huge crush on Eddie's older sister. He had for as long as he could remember but as of late, it was much worse.
You had fallen in with the wrong crowd and were making a series of mistakes that only served to fuel his obsession...no matter how hard he tried to fight it.
You would have been so much better off with him.
In truth, no one really knew what your deal was with the so called 'Bowers gang'.
You were one of the smartest kids in Derry, sure to graduation as the valedictorian, and one of the nicest too.
The only thing about you that didn't make any sense at all was why you spent all your time with Henry Bowers and his thugs.
Among the four of them, Patrick was your favorite. Everyone knew that if you were going to make one of them your boyfriend...it would be that long-ass psychopath that filled your tummy with butterflies.
And while that didn't serve to ease the strain Richie was under, there was something else that upset him more.
It was that laugh.
Your laugh was beautiful and would have easily been his favorite sound in the entire world but that wasn't the issue. It was the source of your laughter that bothered him, and it was almost constant.
If your laughter was heard across the courtyard, it was sure to be because Vic had made some clever jab at Pat or Belch was performing the ABC's again at full volume.
Richie knew one thing, and one thing only-whatever it was that had you so enamored with them, it made him crazy.
He became completely obsessed with what it was about them that drew you in, mostly because he didn't get it.
You weren't too much older than they were, three years tops, but you'd never given him a second look. It didn't make any sense.
He was a total Casanova and had been leaving you little clues all this time. You were just choosing to be blind to his crush because you were blinded by Patrick's long dark hair and Henry's biceps.
On cue, your fit of giggles erupted through the air, snapping Richie's attention toward you and only you. It was as if you were the only thing he was capable of seeing, like all other things and people surrounding you just ceased to exist.
"I hate it" he barked to his friends, his eyes locked on you from across the school yard. Patrick Hockstetter, a certified Neanderthal, has his arm thrown over your shoulder lazily...so comfortably.
Richie would have killed to be in that position with you. All he wanted was a chance but at this point, if he went anywhere near you it would be his head.
You were basically untouchable.
If Patrick, or God forbid, Henry found out about Richie's little crush, that would be the end of the line for him. They'd bury him in a shallow grave and you'd never even know he existed.
"Why? She's just a girl" Stan shrugged, clearly getting fed up with the lunch time conversation, no matter what, it always drifted back to you and he couldn't have been more over it.
All that got him was a gasp from the other boy, who clearly thought that his opinion on the matter was blasphemous. How could Stanley of all people not see the beauty that was you? It didn't make any sense. You were perfect and Richie was just trying to make sure his friends understood the gravity of the situation.
How did a goon like Patrick Hockstetter get with a total babe like you? He'd done the math and it just didn't make any sense.
"What do you mean just a girl? Y/N is so much more than that" he started, beginning his rant as he did every day. They all knew how he felt about you, but they weren't in the mood today.
Eddie more-so than anyone.
He'd heard it all before. He knew that his friends thought that you were pretty, but none of them were as brazen about it as Richie had always been. It was very clear that he'd had some less than PG thoughts regarding you and it was hard for him to be comfortable about it.
It was weird and made his skin itch.
However, nothing was going to happen between you two, Eddie was sure of that. You were much older than them, but even if you had been interested, Richie wasn't your type.
You had always liked greasy guys, as evidence by your last few boyfriends and at best, Richie was a geek. It wasn't going to happen, but that didn't stop the younger boy from dreaming.
He was in love with you, or at least...the idea of you and that was enough for him.
Until Pat noticed...
It wasn't too hard for him to connect the dots. He might not have been the smartest guy in the world but the one thing he knew for sure was how an interested man acted around a beautiful woman.
It was a craft that he'd perfected over years of watching Henry get rejected, and there was no mistaking it.
That was what made him so angry about the dreamy look on Richie's face whenever the two of you passed. He was in a difficult position because he was jealous, not because he thought that he had any competition, but because you belonged to him.
It was as simple as that.
You were Patrick's girlfriend, and no one was allowed to look at you like that, no matter who they were.
But that being said, someone was going to have to teach the kid a lesson.
"Hey pipsqueak" he growled, resting his long arm over the younger boys open locker. Richie instantly tensed, but was careful not to make it too obvious. Patrick thrived off of that kind of thing, and he wasn't going to give him that satisfaction.
The older man obviously wanted something, so he it was better to just get it out of the way so that he could go home. Patrick was never going to just go away on his own.
"What?" he groaned, expecting some stupid insult or a demand to take his belongings, either way, there was no point to all this talking.
The way Richie was acting was meant to speed up the whole process but all it served to do was make Patrick angry. He was already here to deal with something touchy about this kid, now he was going to have an attitude.
That wasn't going to go over well.
"I saw you making eyes at my girl, and if you wanna keep 'em four-eyes, I would suggest you stop" he spit, slamming the locker door closed, just narrowly missing the boy's fingers.
Fuck...he was dead.
"Listen Patrick, I didn't mean anything by it" he stammered, doing his best to just deny everything in hopes that he wouldn't kill him. He knew how territorial the older boy could be and he should have known that he would notice at some point.
The whole thing was a huge misunderstanding, or so he had decided to make Patrick believe.
He knew that he was most likely going to have to take a beating no matter what but maybe he could lie his way out of a black eye. "I j-just like her t-shirt, the Ramones are pretty good" he lied, holding his hands up in surrender.
That earned a laugh from the older boy, who found a lot of amusement out of the begging of nerds. It was hilarious, that all it took was a single words from him and Tozier was about to piss his pants.
How was he not supposed to laugh at that?
"Whatever loser" he grinned, pinning him to the locker harshly with his fist in the collar of his shirt. Richie knew that he looked pathetic at the moment, eyes wide but he didn't care.
Anyone that wasn't scared of Patrick Hockstetter was hardly human.
"PATRICK!"
Speaking of hardly human...it was you.
You had turned the corner into the hallway just in time to see your darling boyfriend terrorizing another freshman. Upon closer inspection, you realized that the freshman in question was your brother's friend Richie, and that just wasn't going to stand.
"What are you doing? Put him down" you ordered, stomping over to him, using your authoritative girlfriend voice. Usually, you would just let Patrick have his fun but he knew that your brother's friends were off limits.
That was all you asked of him, so he better have a damn good reason to be acting like an idiot instead of walking you to class.
"Come on baby, it was just harmless fun" he whined, winking at Richie before dropping him to the ground. He wanted the younger boy to know just how wrapped around his finger you were, whether you realized it or not.
He smiled when he turned back to you, wrapping an arm around your hip to pull you into his body.
Your curves fit perfectly against his own body and he made sure to make a bit of a production as he kissed you, dragging it out to torture the boy he'd left on the floor.
He was going to make sure that at the very least, he knew who you belonged to.
"Harmless fun?" you repeated, not believing him for a second. You knew he was trying to distract you with a kiss like that, but you weren't going to move on that quickly.
He was still in the dog house over that whole display.
"Keep it up and I'll make you apologize" you warned, only half joking as you turned away from him to help Richie from the floor.
As you bent over to give the boy a hand, Patrick took the opportunity to crack you across the ass with his hand but you ignored him. He was just playing a game with you, and you weren't going to let him get the best of you.
It was still lost on you completely that this whole display wasn't about you at all. Patrick was just marking his territory in front of the loser, making it clear that you were never going to be his.
"I'm sorry about him Richie, are you okay?" you asked, moving his hair from his face lightly as you scanned him for any sign of injury. As soon as you were satisfied with what you'd found, you let him be.
All he could do was nod, keeping his eyes on the ground.
He could feel Patrick's burning eyes on his body from behind you and the last thing he wanted to do was further anger the hulking troglodyte. He was just going to have to be more careful about admiring you from now on.
You weren't always going to be there to keep him from getting beat up, and maybe he wouldn't be so lucky next time.
At the very least, he knew that you care about him a little bit and for now, that was more than enough to keep his crush alive.

Not a Secret Anymore
Tumblr media
Henry Bowers x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1664 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Henry wants to keep his relationship a secret but his girlfriend has a different plan.
———————————————————————————————————
Henry liked to keep his two worlds separate, as a general rule. On one side, was the gang and the dorks at school and his rough gruff persona. He had no problem with that, the issues came on the other side.
You.
No one knew that Henry had a girl and there was a reason for that. You were a good, sweet girl with a bright future ahead of you and he was only going to ruin that. Not to mention that his friends would call him a pussy for keeping a girl like you on his arm.
But that didn’t change the fact that he was, no matter how much he hated it, that he loved you more than anything.
You had always been there for him, and if it hadn't been for your love and support, he wouldn't have had anyone. You were his reason for being, and the light of his life, but no one could know that.
That was the problem.
In trying to keep you out of the world he lived in, Henry had unintentionally hurt you and himself. You had never come out and told him pointblank that it bothered you when he pretended not to know you at school and only came to see you after the sun went down...but he knew.
It made him feel guilty that it had to be this way but what would people say if you two were together? What would his boys think if they knew that he'd tied himself down to one goody-two-shoes broad.
He'd never hear the end of it.
It just couldn't be like that, not if Henry was going to keep up his image, and you'd accepted that...because you loved him, so of course you'd do whatever he asked, even if it meant you weren't allowed to speak to him if anyone else was around.
Neither of you liked that rule, but sometimes it just had to be that way.
~
Your morning started like any other, getting out of bed and getting ready for the day. You peeled off the cutoff tee you'd been sleeping in, briefly considering if it was Henry's or not and replacing it with a skirt and blouse.
After some breakfast and making sure your hair was done just how you liked it, you were ready to go. The walk to school didn't take very long at all, but it wasn't as quiet this morning as you typically liked it.
The sound racketing through the neighborhood was one that every student in Derry could recognize, but to you, it meant something different.
Belch's Trans Am.
You fought back the brief desire to roll your eyes and gripped your handbag a little tighter to your body. If you were lucky, they would just move on without bothering you too much...if you were lucky, which you rarely were.
"Well damn, that's a lot of woman!"
It was Patrick, like it normally was. He'd been very vocal about his desire to 'wear your thighs like ear muffs' for quite some time but you knew better than to retaliate, it wouldn't do any good.
They knew you'd decided not to talk to them, because they tried every morning, unsuccessfully. Still, those boys were relentless most of the time.
"Oh, what's wrong baby? I promise I'll be nice" he purred, sticking his head out the window of the backseat. For whatever reason, Belch was driving slowly alongside you on the sidewalk, giving all the boys the perfect view of your legs as you tried your best to walk away from them.
You said nothing, until the next offer came along...and you got an idea.
"Will you at least let us give you a ride Sweets? Who knows who you could run into out here?" Patrick was ridiculous, and usually, you would have shrugged him off but this could be interesting.
Quite quickly, you turned toward them, a look of fire in your eyes. Henry was shocked, though he did a good job of hiding it. He had never seen your like that, and honestly, he had no idea what you were doing.
"You know what Pat, I think I'd feel much safer with you guys to protect me...you know, with all the kids going missing" You hummed, giving him a sweet smile that made Henry's blood boil. You were playing him on purpose, he could tell due to the way your eyes shifted over to him quickly.
All you did was smile, not wanting to give anything away. You'd had enough of all the secrecy and hiding and if baiting Henry was what it took, so be it. You weren't some weak little girl and you were going to prove that to him today.
The other members of the Bowers gang also looked confused by your choice, but said nothing when Patrick opened the door and let you in.
Belch and Vic weren't your concern though, you were watching Henry from your place in the backseat, perched on his best friend's lap. His knuckles were white, due to the tight grip he had on his own knee.
Henry was pissed, and you couldn't have been happier. He had always held the upper-hand and called all the shots, and you were over it. He wasn't allowed to hide you away like something he was ashamed of.
And you were leaning into your rebellion hard.
"This girl smells like strawberries you guys" Patrick grinned, his voice just over your shoulder, making it very clear that he was just chilling back there, sniffing your hair. He wasn't exactly wrong, you liked fruity shampoo because it was Henry's favorite.
You forced yourself to giggle, ignoring the strange way Patrick was making you feel. He had always made you uneasy, even before you got all wrapped up with Henry, but your spite was driving you right now, not your logic.
"It's nice right?" you smile, reaching up to grab the elastic that was holding your hair up, and letting it down. The movement of your freshly washed hair filled the small backseat of the trans am with the sweet scent of your hair.
It smelled really good, and only served to make Henry even more angry. He was supposed to be the only person who was allowed to experience you that way. You were his and it would seem that you needed a reminder.
Who did you think you were? Flirting with Patrick and putting yourself directly in with his gang, knowing they couldn't know about you. It was stupid and dangerous, but more than that, you were way off base.
The one thing that bothered him more than any other and you knew it...you flirting with Patrick, he just couldn't wrap his mind around it. Everything about it was wrong, and the more he thought about it, the more angry Henry became.
When the Trans Am finally pulled into the school parking lot, Henry burst out of the car, slamming the door behind him. Just as quickly, your door was open and you were yanked away from the taller man, Henry's hand clasped around your wrist tightly.
"What are you doing man?!" Patrick yelled, hardly getting the words out before the door slammed in his face. Henry didn't have any care in the world for what they were thinking or saying...he had something to deal with.
That was when his attention turned toward you, rattling ever cell in your being. Henry was angry, really angry and maybe you shouldn't have pushed him so hard.
You were in for it, but you also knew that the chances of doing something in public were unlikely, considering he still didn't want anyone to know about the two of you.
However, when Henry bent down to pick you up and threw you over his shoulder, you realized just how angry he was. He was willing to throw out months of secrecy over a single morning.
“What are you doing?” You whisper-yelled in his ear, shocked at what he was actually doing. There was no way to know how the guys would react but in truth, they weren’t seeing anything that would give you away too quickly.
All they knew right now was that Henry was stealing Patrick’s new squeeze, nothing more, nothing less and hopefully it would stay that way.
“Getting you away from Patrick, since you can’t stop acting like a whore” he spit, carrying you all the way around the back of the school, knowing that no one would stop him.
He wasn’t wrong. You’d definitely crossed a line with Pat this morning but you had just been so upset with him, that you hadn’t thought it through.
“I’m sorry but I didn’t think you’d really notice" you teased, finally feeling your feet touch the ground as Henry finally sets you down. Henry may have been angry but his rage had nothing on your own, no matter what he would have you believe.
Something was going to have to give if he wanted this war to be over, and lucky for you, he was over this war between you.
"Fuck, fine" he groaned, grabbing you once again by the wrist and dragging you around the school, finding the gang still sitting in the Trans Am. They had been too confused by all of Henry's antics to move on and frankly, Patrick was kind of peeved that the blonde had taken his girl.
It wasn't fair.
...But Henry couldn't have cared any less about Patrick's pussy whining.
"LISTEN UP SHITHEADS! Y/N Y/L/N IS MY GIRLFRIEND AND I'M IN LOVE WITH HER!" he yelled, his voicing seemingly carrying through all of Derry. You weren't ready for that much attention but at the same time, Henry had given you what you wanted and you couldn't complain now.
The entire courtyard was full of whispers and chatter but all you could focus on was Henry, who's eyes were also locked on your own.
"Happy now?" he asked, not that you were sure how to answer him.

Bowers Gang; Love HC
Henry:
He does not take it well at first. Henry Bowers has no interest in being in love, and he certainly doesn’t want anyone else to know about it. He has an image to uphold in Derry and can’t have anyone ruining that. Though, avoiding his feelings for you doesn’t last very long for him. Even with as stubborn and determined as he is, Henry isn’t ready to live without you. There are very few people Henry cares for at all, but at the top of that criminally short list, is you. He knows that and isn’t willing to lose you, especially not when it can be avoided.
~Isn’t super verbal about his feelings for you in the way of physically telling you that he loves you. Unless he’s being vulnerable, like when he’s having a rough night with Butch and needs you for comfort, then he might let it slip.
~Henry’s the kind of person who would do anything for the person he loves, even if he would never admit it.
~Does change a little when he realizes the depth of his feelings for you. Once he knows this isn’t just some passing fling or something to occupy his time, he’s different. He’s a little softer with you, and puts in some more effort to be a good partner.
~But not too much, Henry is still Henry at the end of the day. His feelings are the most important in his mind, and while he makes room to include you in that, and put you first, it isn’t always going to work that way.
~As always, anyone who talks about you at all is gonna have to deal with him, but there’s a bit of wiggle room now. Even though he would never admit it, being with you has softened his anger quite a bit and he’s more likely to just walk away before starting a fight.
~All in all, Henry having someone to love that genuinely loves him back and wants what’s best for him would be brand new for the male but certainly for the better.
~He would find some comfort in you, and your real love that he’d never had before, which is really why he loves you in the first place.
Patrick
Is pretty impressed with himself at first, to be completely honest. He doesn’t have many feelings at all to begin with, and doesn’t really know how to be romantic or sweet in the traditional sense. However, that doesn’t mean he ignores you completely or anything like that, it’s just different. Being in love with Patrick Hockstetter would be unlike any other relationship you’d ever had, but he wasn’t a bad partner, he just isn’t dotting like others may be. He’s had people in his life that care about him in the form of his parents and his brother as a kid, but that isn’t Patrick’s problem.
~He isn’t like Henry where he’s been neglected and abused, in fact, Patrick is the neglectful party in most cases. Feeling anything for anyone is new for him, but he doesn’t feel the need to question why he cares for you, he just does.
~Speaking of his love, it looks more like letting you wear his ring on a chain around your neck or shoving his hand into the back pocket of your jeans as you walked.
~It was less outward “I love yours” and more “if that guy looks at you again, I’ll remove his eyes and shove them down his throat”
~Being in love with Patrick would most certainly involve fighting, pretty frequently but not in an all out angry sort of way. He just likes to push your buttons to see how you’ll react and sometimes he goes too far.
~He loves getting a rise out of you.
~Unlike Henry, Pat would have no problem letting the entire world know that he was in love with you. In fact, he would actively encourage that everyone knows just how much you mean to him so that they keep their distance.
~If you thought you belongs to him before, after he realizes the depth of his feelings for you, there is no doubting that. He’s constantly all over you, and wants everyone to see it.
Belch
Literally doesn’t even realize that he’s in love with you, until he accidentally tells you mid conversation. Though as soon as he does, Belch is giddy like a schoolgirl. He feels really connected to you, and cares about you in a way that doesn’t exactly come naturally to him with other people. He is pretty closed off, in general, and doesn’t routinely let people in but it really is easy with you. With you, he can just exist, which is something new for Belch with all the expectations that are normally placed on him. In fact, part of the reason he loves you so much is how caring you are and how simple being with you is.
~Belch has never been in love before, and isn’t super sure how to go about it, which would make him a little weird and cagey at first. He isn’t sure if you love him back or if he made a huge mistake in saying it out loud
~Thankfully, before he can have a colossal freak out, you assure him that your feelings match his which changes his outlook completely.
~Almost immediately, the strange panic he’d gone through a moment prior was gone and he was grinning again, happier than he had been in a really long time.
~Belch is huge on PDA and would definitely hold your hand all day, constantly, just to feel closer to you. He doesn’t ever want to be without you and would definitely be the kind of boyfriend to pout like crazy every time you had to go home.
~The most wholesome relationship ever.
~Belch would gladly show you off to the entire world, mostly because he managed to get a girl like you who he loves more than anyone else. You are incredible and he’s proud of his feelings for you.
~The rest of the Bowers gang are sort of jealous, because its clear that what you two have is real, and you care about each other a lot.
Victor:
Honestly, Victor isn’t shocked. He isn’t super open about his feelings, or anything for that matter, but that’s different with you. If he was ever going to be in love with someone, it isn’t a huge surprise that it would be you. You have the biggest heart of anyone he’s ever known and deep down, he knows that he is always your first priority which is new for him. You put him first all the time and that makes it almost impossible to not be in love with you. Vic has a lot of feelings, and while he might not know how to express them, he definitely doesn't have a problem with understanding how he could have ever fallen for you.
~Vic is afraid to tell you how he feels at first, and knowing him, you would definitely beat him to it. I feel like he would just wait for you to bring it up to make sure you're on the same page.
~Though, once you've gotten it all together and come to terms with the fact that you're both in love with one another, it would be really good.
~The two of you know how to talk to each other and almost complete one another in a way that Victor definitely needs.
~Wouldn’t want anyone to know about his feelings for you not because he’s ashamed or anything like that, but because he just wants it to be the two of you. He doesn’t feel like it's anyone else's business.
~He's perfectly happy with it just being the two of you in your own little world for a while, and you aren't really going to argue with that.
~Vic is really private about his relationship with you around other people but when the two of you are alone, you're always attached at the hip. You're never too far away from one another, and he likes it that way.
~This boy loves you more than anything, basically.

Summary: Victor finally gets the date he was so desperate for
Part 1
—————————————————————————————————
He’d figured it out.
It took him all week, and he’d nearly burst a blood vessel while trying to figure out what it was he wanted to do, but Victor knew now.
You specified that you wanted him to take you to dinner. That was what you wanted if you were going to believe that he had feelings for you, and he definitely did.
So, all he had to do was figure out was where to take a girl like you, a girl he really liked, without his friends ever finding out that the dinner date happened.
It was a tall order, but after all this time, he had an idea.
All he had to do was make sure that the guys were busy, and he would be free to take you anywhere he wanted. Then, as far as wooing you went, he already had a whole dinner date set up in the form of a picnic in the quarry.
There weren’t a lot of first date level restaurants around here that were any good, and the ones that were around, he certainly couldn’t afford or wasn’t allowed back into.
Most of the business owners in Derry were wary of the Bower’s gang, and they had been banned from most of the fancier establishments.
Hell, even the milkshake bar on the other side of town had threatened to have them arrested if they ever went back. Though, he sort of understood where they were coming from, after Henry spray painted some really obscene things on the side of their building.
Victor just hoped the saying was right, and the thought behind his evening with you would be enough to show you just how much you meant to him because the picnic he’d planned was pretty extensive.
He had gone out and picked up everything you could have wanted, aside from the burgers he was going to pick up right before picking you up at your house, so they wouldn’t get cold.
He had a blanket that he could spread out over the edge of the rock quarry, looking down over the water, and he even got these tiny little cakes from the bakery down the street that he figured you’d like.
Girls liked those kinds of things, he’d asked Belch.
All in all, it was shaping up to be a pretty good date. The only thing Vic still had to do was figure out how to get the guys out of his hair for the night.
The worst thing he could possibly imagine happening would be Henry, Patrick, and to a lesser extent Belch, crashing your picnic and ruining his chances with you completely.
The blonde was already well aware that he was on thin ice with you, which was why this probationary date had to go well. He wanted to show you that he was capable of this.
That he was more than just some thug who made fun of pretty girls for their extra weight and relationship status, two things Henry went pretty hard at you for.
Henry and Patrick both liked to comment on how you would never have a boyfriend because of your size, and how you would probably die a virgin cause nobody would hit that.
In fact, there were very few things about you that the more alpha of his friends wouldn’t torment you for, something that, the more he thought about it, made Victor upset.
You had a point that day in the hall.
He had never really said anything nasty about you to your face, but he hadn’t stopped them from doing it either. He just stood back and let his friends treat you like the dirt beneath their boots.
It was hardly the foundation for a functional relationship, but he wanted to try. For now, all he could do was hope that he’d planned such an amazing date that it would make up for all those terrible things.
Thankfully, before Victor could further drive himself crazy, his three best, and only, friends came around the corner and made a B-line for him. This was it, if this went well, he would be home free for his date tonight.
...But if it didn’t, he had no idea how he was going to explain it to you.
There was no way you would give him a second chance if he cancelled your date to spend the night riding around in Belch’s Trans Am, listening to hair metal.
It had to happen tonight.
“Where have you been?” Belch asked, the only one of the three to even address him once they’d made it to his side.
Henry and Patrick continued to talk about whatever it was that had them so enthralled.
It wasn’t new, and didn’t even really bother Vic, but it was something he had never realized before. They didn’t even really seem to care if he was there or not, which he never would have noticed before talking to you.
Somehow you had managed to turn everything Victor knew upside down and he wasn't sure that he liked it. He wasn’t blind to the fact that his friends weren’t the best people before, but it had never hurt him to be around them.
They were the only friends he had, even if they weren’t the greatest guys of all time.
They were what he had.
“I had to run a few errands, no big deal” the blonde shrugged, hoping he’d done a good enough job at hiding his true intentions so that Belch wouldn’t ask any questions.
He wouldn’t have any answers for him if he did.
This whole thing was new to Vic, who had never really liked a girl this much in the first place, but he was doing what he thought would work. Lying, thankfully, wasn’t new to him.
At the very least, he could rely on his quick wit and the fact that two of the three of his friends couldn’t have been more oblivious to what he was doing and the third wasn’t the brightest to begin with.
It was starting to look like his little scheme would actually work.
Belch didn’t pry any further, something that Victor was glad for, and before it could get any more awkward or he gave himself a stroke, he asked what he’d been trying to ask for days, but didn’t have the nerve to.
“So, what’s the plan for tonight?”
He tried to make it as nonchalant and casual as he could, as if he was just inquiring about the plans he knew they had indefinitely.
Even if the four of them were just going to walk around Henry’s property, or terrorize kids in the park, they always did something together. It wasn’t the sort of question that should have roused any suspicion.
Still, Vic couldn’t help but feel like his entire plot was unraveling at the seams and it was only a matter of time before the gang found out what he was doing and slaughtered him.
It wouldn't go over well. “Nothing, I gotta take care of some things for my pop, so you three girls are on your own” Henry shrugged, not offering any more explanation than that. Whatever it was, if Butch was involved, they knew not to press it.
Though, Victor already felt a little better knowing that Henry wouldn’t be skulking around, potentially finding the two of you in the woods.
Henry already had it out for you more than anyone else because of that time he asked you to see a movie with him and you said no. That rejection had really stuck a bur in his side, and it surely had something to do with his cruelty toward you now.
He wasn’t used to hearing no, after all.
Patrick and Belch had other plans too, it seemed, not really interested in hanging out with any of the others of them without Henry. If it wasn’t the whole gang, it was weird for them.
So, it seemed like Victor was in the clear.
All he had to do now was show you the time of your life and hope that you actually gave him a chance. A girl like you should have never even agreed to go out with him in the first place, so he wasn’t going to ruin it.
You deserved the best, and he was doing all he could to provide it.
~
Vic was sure he’d never been this nervous in his entire life.
Before now, he’d been so preoccupied worrying about the threat of the gang finding out what he was doing, or you changing your mind and rejecting him that he hadn’t given any thought at all to how this would feel.
Waiting for you to get here was going to kill him.
All Victor could think about was whether or not you were coming, or if something had happened to you on the way here. Maybe you decided that this wasn’t a good idea and were staying home, or worse, maybe you had another date.
Whatever it was, it was taking you way too long to get here and every second that passed by, he was sure you weren’t going to show.
You had stopped him in the hallway after the last bell rang, signalling the end of the day, and told him that you would meet him in the Quarry, because he didn’t drive, which didn’t seem like that big of a deal at first.
No good first date had even begun by walking awkwardly in silence through the woods, and it was smart to meet up for the more romantic parts of the evening. However, now that it was here, Vic had to wonder if it was all some clever ploy to leave him in the quarry alone.
It seemed cruel, but after everything he and the guys had done to you, it would be a lie to say that he didn’t deserve it.
He couldn’t have blamed you if you hated him.
Thankfully though, as the sun began creeping down and the air cooled that much more under the waterfront’s influence, you came walking up the path.
You had to admit that when he first suggested coming to the Quarry this late in the evening, you weren’t sure. It still seemed like this whole thing could be some joke, or something put on by Henry to humiliate you.
After all, Victor was the most unassuming of the four of them and if you were going to agree to go out with any of the Bower’s gang, it would have been him.
You just weren’t sure how to feel.
...but you were relieved to see Victor, right where he said he’d been, sitting on a beach towel or something.
It didn’t seem like a set up for a prank, but you weren’t fully convinced until you reached his side and saw the huge set up he’d spread out for you, right on the edge of the cliff.
You were far enough back to avoid falling off or dropping anything into the water below but close enough to see how pretty it was up here. You had never been here before, which had only solidified Victor’s plans to bring you.
The quarry was one of the only things in Derry that was worth seeing, and the fact that you’d lived here this long and still hadn’t come up here was blasphemous to him.
“Hey, I was getting worried you wouldn’t come” Vic called, the first to speak between the two of you. He did his best to play it off like a joke but it seemed like you knew how nervous he was.
Of course you did.
You were nervous to do this too.
Putting yourself out there wasn’t really something you did often or were good at, and you felt like you had taken a huge risk in agreeing to do this with him. However, as far as dates went, this really was worth the risk.
No one had ever gone through so much trouble just to impress you.
“You get stood up often?” you teased, sitting down on the spot across from him which you assumed was meant for you. It would have been sort of strange if he was waiting on someone else too.
It was a joke of course, but what you didn’t know was that he had. In general, Vic didn’t date too often just because he didn’t have a great history with this sort of thing.
He wasn’t exactly a ladies man after all.
“Sometimes” he shrugged, hoping that wouldn’t scare you off. It was much more honest than he was used to being, with anyone, but for some reason, you brought it out of him.
The two of you seemed to bring something different out of each other and as strange as it was for both of you, it was nice.
Victor, for one, felt like he could be who he was around you. It didn’t matter how vulnerable or goofy he wanted to be, there wasn’t going to be any awful consequences like there would be with the gang.
You didn’t seem to care if he wanted to be a geek.
“That’s okay. Me too” you shrugged, grabbing one of the cans of soda he offered you.
Your admission made him laugh, of course, because he assumed that you were joking, but after a few seconds of silence, he realized just how wrong he’d been.
You were completely serious, but that didn’t make any sense to him. You were beautiful and the fact that you had been stood up on a date didn’t compute for him.
Who in their right mind would have skipped out on a date with you? Victor certainly wouldn’t have, even considering how difficult you had made getting here for him.
“Well, for what it’s worth, I’m glad they were so stupid because now you’re here with me” he sighed, doing his best to keep from looking you in the face after saying something like that but you were happy he had.
That was one of the sweetest things anyone had ever said to you and as shocked as you were that he was the one saying it, you weren’t going to argue.
“I’m glad too. You’re surprisingly sweet, Vic” you allowed, taking a sip of your drink without much more between the two of you. This was hardly where you saw the evening going, but it was for the better.
Maybe he wasn’t so bad after all.

Henry Bowers x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 2264 words
Warnings: Abuse, proceed with caution
Summary: Reader is Henry’s girlfriend and always takes care of him after his dad gets violent
—————————————————————————————————
You hated him.
Butch Bowers was a monster, who got more joy out of beating down his son than actually being any good to anyone as a cop.
Above all though, and perhaps the biggest strike against him for you was the fact that he was absolutely awful to your boyfriend Henry, his son. There was no real reason for it, as being cruel to the younger male did nothing for him, but that had never been enough to keep him from doing it.
It didn’t matter what kind of day he had or what Henry did, nothing could have stopped Butch or his rage, and that wasn’t even the worst part.
The fact of the matter was that no one around would have believed you if you told them about Butch’s violence, considering his high position in the Derry police force and manipulative personality.
To the rest of Derry, you and Henry were trouble, two people who couldn’t be trusted or believed. For all intents and purproses, Butch could do whatever he wanted and nothing was going to change that.
You understood their hesitance to be fair, but that didn’t make it right. Nothing was going to change your hatred for the man or how wrong his actions were.
It was hard not to be a bit biased seeing as you loved Henry more than anything, but even if you didn’t, anyone would be bothered by all the bruises you’d witnessed that he sustained at his father’s hand.
It wasn’t right.
However, your overarching hatred of the man wasn’t your biggest priority right now. You knew from what Henry told you at school that Butch was in a particularly bad mood this morning, and it wasn’t going to go well when he got home.
Henry didn’t come to you every time his dad hit him, of course, as it would be too often, but he did call you over to his home when he needed you. Sometimes, he got really shaken up and needed to be talked down from the ledge.
Something you were pretty good at at this point in your relationship.
It was awful, and something you would have preferred not to have to do in the first place, but if it was going to make him feel even a little bit better, you were glad to do it. You were just glad that he had someone he could rely on.
Henry was a bit notorious for being closed off and harsh, but that was more of a forced persona that he would have let on. You knew a different side of Henry Bowers that most people weren’t lucky enough to see.
With you, he was vulnerable and sad, angry and lost, so many things at once without any guidance that it would drive anyone mad.
By the time he made it to your house that night, in fact, Henry was shaking like a leaf. It was clear to you that he was angry, the muscles of his jaw tight, but also sad, as you caught sight of his tear stained cheeks.
It really was bad this time.
You had previously been working on your chemistry homework when he showed up, stones clanking against your window pane to let you know he’d arrived. However, as soon as he got there, you found yourself swiping your work to the side.
Nothing was more important to you than Henry, like any young woman in love, especially not school work.
At first, you didn’t realize just how bad it was.
You got up from your bed, bouncing slightly off the edge of your mattress as you headed over to the window. A small smile found its way onto your face as you made your way over to pull back your curtains.
...And your smile only grew when you saw Henry standing in the grass below you.
You had just seen him a few hours ago when he and the guys dropped you off at home after school but you wouldn’t have known that based on how you reacted. You loved him, a whole lot, and any amount of time seemed to be too much.
You couldn’t help that.
“Hi handsome” You called, sliding the window all the way up so that you could lean out to see him better. You always greeted him like that, of course, but when he said nothing back, that was when you knew something was wrong.
Henry always greeted you with just as much gusto as you did, but today, he didn’t even bother. Instead, he stood where he was and waited for you to come down, just like you always did.
“I’ll be right down” you decided, wasting no more time than you already had as you made your way down the stairs and out your front door. Your parents weren’t home, again, so there was no need for you to tip toe or sneak around.
There had been some occasions where you had to finagle your curvy frame out your window without falling to your death, an action you had gotten pretty good at over the course of your relationship.
At this point, it was basically second nature for you.
As soon as you were in front of Henry, he was holding you in his arms. It wasn’t a completely unheard of action but it would have been a lie to say that you weren’t a little shocked by it.
Never had Henry been so brazen about holding you before, but here he was, with his arms wrapped tightly around you and his head tucked into the crook of your neck.
There was silence between the two of you for a moment as you held the man you loved so much, silently racking your brain to figure out what you could do for him. You knew that, realistically, there was nothing you could do to improve his situation at home.
However, you did have something you could do for him tonight. While it wasn’t a long term solution, but your house was empty and could be a bit of a solace for him tonight.
“Do you want to come in, it’s just you and me tonight” you suggested, not even really asking, because before he could answer, you had already taken his hand in your own and were heading inside.
Henry wasn’t sure about your house the first few times he’d been there, but it was a nice place to relax, especially when your parents weren’t around. He could finally take a breath, while being about to drop the façade he so often wore.
It was a nice break, especially when he had nowhere else to go. The last thing he wanted right now was to go back to his house, where Butch was still there, fuming and half way through his third six-pack.
“Do you want to tell me what’s going on?” you asked, not bothering to speak until the two of you were safely behind his bedroom door. You knew that there was no real reason to lock the door, or even close it in the first place, but it made Henry feel better.
That way he knew that it was really just the two of you there.
Henry shook his head again, sitting down on your bed with his back to the locked entrance. You always hoped he would open up to you about it, but he never wanted to talk about it after. More than anything, he seemed to just want to exist.
He wanted to know he was safe, and you couldn’t blame him.
You didn’t bother trying to get him to talk, if he didn’t want to then who were you to push that on Him. Even if you had to sit here in silence all night, it would be worth it if he felt even a little better.
“It’s okay, you’re safe now” you hummed, laying back against your bed, a throw pillow between your knees and your stomach as you curled up to look at Henry, who had now taken to staring out the window.
You sat there for a while, just watching him with curious eyes before you finally spoke again.
“There isn’t anything out there that’s going to hurt you” you promise, flinging the above mentioned pillow at his head, although it fell short on the comforter of the bed, not even close to where he was perched.
“You don’t know that” he muttered, his tone lacking the general smartness that was always present there, tossing a look at you over his shoulder before returning his eyes to their original position.
The male was understandably paranoid, doing his best to make sense out of anything that had happened tonight while also worrying about something terrible coming through that window to snatch him up.
“Come on Henry, come lay down” you tried, tossing your arms open for him although he ignored you once again.
You knew better than to take it to heart, you didn’t do anything to hurt him personally. Henry could be a little touchy when he came over here after taking a beating, but you couldn’t blame him. All you could do was make him feel better, which you intended to do as soon as possible.
“Suit yourself, I guess I’ll just go to bed” you teased, flopping down on your side, hiding your face in your pillow in the most dramatic way you could. You figured that unless you got Henry’s mind off of it, he would be standing there all night.
“You don’t get it Y/N, I don’t understand what I did to him” he starts, startling you out of your act with the clear shaking of his words. He had never asked you that before, not in all the times he’d been here, but it was obviously hurting him.
Henry had always wondered that.
He had never had the guts to ask anyone that before, mostly because it was terrifying but also because he was afraid of the answer. Even saying it out loud had practically choked him up, but you were proud of him.
“You didn’t do anything to him baby, he’s violent and cruel, he’s always been that way” you assured, sitting up gingerly before shimmying down the bed to sit on the edge of it, pulling Henry to stand between your knees by his wrist. As soon as you said it, the tears started coming, and while you could tell Henry wasn’t thrilled about that, it was almost comforting to see him expressing himself this way.
“But why?” he hummed, his voice low as he took your hands in his own and leaned down, resting his forehead against your own to stare into your bright eyes, almost as if you would have all the answers.
If only you did.
“I don’t know” you level, lifting your right hand to brace his cheek “But I do know that I love you, and I will never hurt you” you smile, kissing his cheek in the gentlest way you could, licking away the salty taste that found its way onto your lips from his tears absently.
It was one of the most soft, honest moments you and henry had ever had in the history of your relationship and you could tell that you both needed it. Henry went through so much, and he deserved to know that you would always be there.
That he was safe with you.
“You promise?” he muttered, after a few more seconds of silence breathing in your scent. In all honesty, you didn’t know what to say, because you were telling him the truth but something about his words shocked you into silence.
He was so broken, letting you into the deepest darkest crevices of his feelings, and it was a lot of pressure. Thankfully, you were pretty good at talking to Henry and all you had to do was tell him the truth.
“Of course I promise, baby. Do you see anybody else in here?” you tease, trying your best to lighten the mood although you weren’t as successful as you wanted to be.
As much as he wanted to be as upbeat as you, there was still too much heavy on his mind.
“Come on, I wanna snuggle” you sighed, taking his hand in your own once again to urge him to climb into bed with you. If there was one way to make him feel better, it was to get him all snuggled up with you so that he could finally relax.
You were sure that if there was one thing that you knew that no one else in Derry would believe, it was that Henry was a huge cuddler.
Even when he was in a bad mood, or having a hard time, he was always ready for a good cuddle.
Your back hit the plush bed with a light thud before you pulled Henry into you, wrapping your arms around his broad shoulders. His chest heaved under your touch before he relaxed into your grasp, giving in to what you both knew.
He was safe here.
While you couldn’t do much about the rest of the world, you could always protect him in this place. Right here, curled up in your arms, he couldn’t have been more at home or more protected.
“I love you” he hummed, nothing more leaving his lips as he snuggled in for the night and let his heavy eyes drift closed. For now, all he needed to do was exist, everything else was a problem for another day.

Summary: Henry has a crush.
——————————————————————————————————
It should have come as no surprise to anyone that you were the way you were.
After all, living with Patrick your whole life meant that you figured it out or he would have probably smothered you with a pillow by now. It was no secret that Patrick was standoffish and violent, everyone in all of Derry knew that.
What they didn’t know was that he, in no way, rivalled your hatred of the entirety of the human race.
The two of you were clearly related through that alone, though that was about as far as the similarity went.
Where Patrick was a textbook psychopath, deriving joy from any form of suffering, you didn’t seem to find it in anything. You were just angry all the time.
As best he could tell, you always had a disgusted grimace on your beautiful face, keeping to yourself whenever possible, unless you had some venom to spit in Henry’s direction.
...And for whatever reason, you had him all twisted up inside.
It didn’t make any sense, seeing as Henry had never felt that way about anyone but whenever he was around you, he felt ill, in the best way.
It was like a spell had been cast on him, and it made him even more dumb than before. The worst part of all though, was that you somehow remained absolutely blind to it.
That, or you didn’t care.
For the longest time, he was sure that you hated him and maybe you still did. In any case, nothing could keep his stomach from doing cartwheels whenever you were together.
Together being a term used lightly.
Really, you only ever spent time with the ‘Bowers gang’ when you absolutely had to but that was more than enough for Henry to be sure.
There was just something about you.
...And he was determined to figure out what it was.
Today, Patrick offered to have the guys come over after school, suggesting they fuck around at the quarry for a while before hitting the town. Your parents weren’t going to be home, after all, so they agreed.
Which meant that as soon as Henry and the others entered your house, you knew about it. No one else had a key to the side door of the garage.
“What are you losers doing here?” you groaned, rolling your eyes from where you were sitting on the couch, watching bored as Belch chucked something at Vic, narrowly missing his head.
It brought a small smile to your face, which you were quick to force back down. Perhaps if it had actually met its target, you would have laughed.
Luckily, Belch’s aim was about as good as his grade in chemistry. “We thought we’d come spend time with you. s’that okay?” Henry started, noticing the way your eyes lingered on his for only a moment before you looked away.
You didn’t even bother to answer him, though you didn’t have much of a chance anyway before Patrick swung around the corner and lobed a coke can at your head.
“We’re going to the quarry, you wanna come or is that stick lodged too far up your ass?” he cackled, not even seeming to care one bit that the can could have burst all over the place.
Though, to be fair, you cared about as much when you tossed it right back at him, hitting the wall just behind him.
“You’re a fucker, Pat!” you growled, that mischievous glint in your eyes making it hard to tell if you were really upset with him or not.
It wasn’t until you stood from where you’d been sitting that it registered to Henry that you could potentially be coming with them. It wasn’t that big of a deal, but for some reason, it made his palms sweat.
You hadn’t come with them to the quarry for quite some time, and the five of you weren’t kids anymore.
“Let’s go. I’ll leave all your asses here” you barked, having apparently decided you’d be going before heading out the door, not bothering to wait for any of them.
Without missing a beat, all four boys followed, leaving Henry to bring up the back, his hands feverishly wiping at his jeans.
He tried to convince himself that this wasn’t going to be that big of a deal, and that there was no reason he should be nervous, but that wasn’t doing him much good.
Really, the more he tried to stop thinking about you, the more his mind snapped right back to you, sitting in the backseat.
Henry was trying his best to be casual in his admiration, watching in the right side mirror as you fiddled mindlessly with the fraying knees of Vic’s jean but if he wasn’t careful, he was going to get caught.
Honestly, Belch had already taken note of the way Henry studied you but chose to keep it to himself.
Pointing out something like that would not only subject him to Henry’s anger, but also yours and Patricks and that wasn’t something he was willing to deal with right now.
So, he turned up the music on the radio and kept driving down the road until he pulled up to the private confines of the woods around the quarry.
“Did you bring a bathing suit Squirt, or what?” Patrick asked, much too late to have actually been of help to anyone, going so far as to use that terrible nickname.
If looks could kill, he would have been dead already.
“No, I’m not stripping down in front of your pervy friends dipshit” you huffed, shooting Belch a wink from where he was looking at you from the rearview.
It was all in good fun of course, but mostly, it was just payback for Patrick being Patrick.
“Yeah right, like any of these guys would wanna touch you with a ten foot pole” your brother jabbed, your full on sibling bickering filling the backseat in a matter of minutes.
Really, it was just a number of thinly veiled threats and insulting one another's mother even though she was the same woman. Neither of you cared for technicalities.
Patrick was a bitch and you only wanted to make sure he knew that about himself.
~
That was all that happened from the time Belch parked the trans am to the time when Patrick and the others were all diving off that cliff into the water below.
You chose to remain perched on a rock, letting what little sun you could tolerate to bathe your skin. It wasn’t until you heard a twig snap behind you that you perked up, taking notice to the fact that someone was clearly out here. As best you knew, the guys were still in the lake.
Still, you wouldn’t have put it past your shithead brother to try and toss you over the side while you were too relaxed to notice.
Though, when you actually turned around, it wasn’t Patrick standing where the sound had come from. It was Henry.
“What are you doing? Sneaking around like a creeper” you asked, rolling your eyes before leaning back down against the rocks. You would never admit it, but you were most comfortable around Henry.
He was a no shit kind of guy, which you could respect, but he wasn’t downright vile like your hellspawn sibling was. He was a good middle ground and you could respect that.
Not that you wanted him watching you from the woods in any case.
“I wanted to ask you something,” Henry started, watching you crack one eye open slightly to look at him, silently prompting him to continue.
You had never had patience for idle small talk. If he had something to say, he could do so without wasting precious seconds of your life.
“Without the other guys” he clarified, briefly waiting for you to point out that it was a given before punching him so hard in the bicep with those rings you wore that he’d have to leave.
...But that never came.
You just sat there, bathing in the sun like a cold blooded predator, waiting for him to get on with it.
Henry had to swallow thickly before speaking, taking in how peaceful and gentle you looked when you were relaxed. He assumed it was a Hockstetter thing, because Pat damn near slept like a baby.
The whole lot of you were sneaky bastards though, so he didn’t trust it for a second.
“You wanna see a movie sometime? Or get a burger? Just us” he asked, earning a snort from you immediately though you stopped laughing as soon as you saw him.
The sight you opened your eyes to was almost alarming.
Henry, shit-talking, knife slinging Henry Bowers, looked like a scared little puppy. You had never seen him anxious or worried before but even you didn’t have it in your heart to tease him.
He was being serious.
“Like a date?” you clarified, genuinely confused for a second. Why would Henry want to go out with you? By all accounts, you were personality deficient, and that was a badge of honor you wore proudly.
...But no one in their right mind would sign up for that willingly.
Maybe that was the whole point though, maybe that was what it was about Henry that you found so strangely endearing. He was out of his damn mind.
When he nodded, you made up your mind.
He was absolutely deranged, fully crazy, but you were just about the same. “Sure, I’ll let you buy me a milkshake some time” you shrugged, closing your eyes again as your way of shooing him away.
You both knew that if he didn’t get back to his friends, they’d come looking for him and whatever he had going on, that wasn’t a good look.
Not that he cared right now.
Henry got the date, and you didn’t even spit on him when he asked. By all accounts, that was a success in his mind.

12 days of Christmas Special 2
Henry Bowers x Plus size!reader (Sister)
Word Count: 1281 words
Warnings: none
Summary: How the Bowers siblings spend Christmas
——————————————————————————————————
Christmas in the Bowers house had always been sort of strange.
Butch had never really cared much for the holidays, and often worked through Christmas eve because of that. He didn’t like Christmas, and since your mom had left, he hated it even more so.
Which left you and Henry alone for most holidays during your childhood, which necessarily wasn’t the worst thing for you.
It was no secret that your brother could be moody and mean on occasion but he wasn’t all bad. You never doubted that Henry loved you, and he proved that even more around the holidays.
Henry didn’t really care for Christmas.
All throughout his childhood, there was basically no Christmas but when you were born, that changed a little for him. He went back and forth on how he felt for you, but overall, he was pretty protective.
...And when it came to Christmas time, he wanted you to have more than he had as a kid.
He knew that Butch tended to ignore the holidays, even now, and wouldn’t do anything for you. Not only that, but if you were lucky, he would ignore the two of you when he’d had too much to drink or a hard day at work.
It had always been that way.
When the two of you were younger, Henry would go out of his way to try and play Santa. He would make you little crafts and toys and wrap them in newspaper so you’d have something under the tree.
However, he didn’t have to do that anymore. Now that the two of you were older, Christmas was easier on you both.
For starters, you didn’t believe in Santa Clause anymore, so he didn’t have to jump through hoops to keep that illusion alive for you. That was for the best, as Henry didn’t have energy to do that anymore.
...And it didn’t hurt that Henry had his own money now.
He didn’t have to make you flimsy Popsicle stick houses and paper dolls anymore. If he wanted too, Henry could go out and pick up whatever he wanted for you, and in that way, Christmas was better.
Though, your father still didn’t want to be a part of it. Butch refused to even get you a Christmas tree this year, because he didn’t want to look at it.
For him, it was nothing more than a nuisance.
Of course, Henry wasn’t going to make you go without a tree. It was a tradition that he knew you loved, something you’d been doing since you were children. You had always gone to the Derry tree lot and picked out a live tree.
It broke your heart to hear that you weren’t going to have one this year, so naturally, Henry took it upon himself to make it all better.
He started by having the boys come in so that they could get it all figured out. Patrick complained at first, but at the end of the day, he decided to just do as he was told without starting a fight with your brother.
While it was no secret that your father hated the holiday season, that didn’t stop the Bowers gang from putting together the perfect christmas for you.
It took a little bit of convincing i.e threatening on Henry’s part to get the boys to help him out but once he did, they all got to work trying to make it all work.
That meant buying ingredients for cookie dough and cutouts, shopping, anything to make your holiday the best that it could be.
...But first, there was one thing you needed.
“Oh hey, I didn’t know you guys would be here” you hummed, shocked that the guys were standing in your kitchen. It may not have been shocking normally, but this was a Saturday at ten in the morning.
You didn’t even know they got up this early.
“Go get dressed, we have plans today” Henry prompted, eyeing you incredulously from where he was standing. You were still wearing your pajamas and that wasn’t going to work for what he had planned today.
There was a strange tone in his voice, something you hadn’t been expecting, but you knew better than to ask questions. Whatever it was, you were sure it wouldn’t take too much time.
Henry would probably drop you off at the house a little later so he could hang out with the guys at the quarry. Even knowing that though, you went to get dressed just as he’d said and didn’t ask where you were going until the car stopped again.
The Trans Am jolted slightly as Belch pulled into a parking space, causing you to lean a little too much into Patrick’s side.
You were going to apologize to him, but before you could, you glanced out the window to see where you were. You didn’t want to get too excited but you couldn’t help yourself.
It was the Christmas tree lot.
You really didn’t think you’d be able to come here this year but there was no denying it. Every year, the Derry Christmas tree lot stayed the same, and it was perfect.
To you, Christmas wasn’t Christmas without it.
You couldn’t help the small gasp that left your lips when you realized where you were, your eyes snapping up to Henry’s face as if to clarify what you were assuming.
When he nodded, a small smile creeping onto his lips, it was over. You scrambled to get out of the car, urging Vic to get out as quickly as he could so that you could start looking through the aisles.
From where you were sitting, you couldn’t get there quick enough and didn’t even bother to wait for the boys to get out of the car before taking off.
On occasion, the boys would tease Henry for going so far for your benefit but you were his little sister and he had always done this for you.
It was second nature by now.
...And seeing how happy this made you, they understood why this had been so important to him.
“Christmas trees huh? Who knew” Patrick shrugged, watching the way you buzzed around happily, smelling the fresh fir and pine trees and feeling the needles beneath your fingers.
It was funny, of course, but more than anything, each of the four males were just enjoying the obvious happiness this was giving you.
When Henry told them that you liked going to pick out a Christmas tree every year, they never expected you to like it this much.
“We used to go with mom. I think that’s why she likes it so much” Henry shrugged, heading in your direction without much more than that, only to be followed by the rest of them.
You didn’t like talking about your mother, because she hadn’t come to see either of you in years, and there was no reason for you to care about her. However, there were certain things that just brought back those happy memories.
“You find one you like?” Henry asked, coming up behind you. You were looking at a pretty big fir tree, with big full leaves and a bright green color.
It was a nice one, one that you’d have to put in your bedroom to avoid the wrath of your father but a nice one nonetheless. Even if it was going to be a bitch to transport, if this was what you wanted, he’d figure it out.
“Yeah, isn’t this one pretty?” you hummed, gingerly feeling the needles. It was going to be difficult to get home, but at least you’d gotten one thing right.
It was pretty.

Facing Fears
Tumblr media
Henry Bowers x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1507 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Reader doesn’t like the water but Henry finds a way around it
——————————————————————————————————
You had always been terrified of the quarry. The murky water was deep and there was no good way to tell how deep it really was.
It didn’t help that you couldn’t trust your friends to not let you drown and die.
Hell, Patrick would probably just laugh at you from the shore. Though, even you had to admit that sitting on the sidelines whole the gang had fun was kind of lame.
You wanted more than anything to join in but you couldn’t make yourself do it. Water had been your worst fear since you were a kid and nothing had changed.
...You hated it.
Unfortunately for you though, there wasn’t much to do in the small town of Derry, Maine. In all honesty, other than terrorizing the neighborhood kids or jamming in the trans am, there wasn’t anything else to do.
Maybe that was why Vic suggested going to the quarry in the first place. Apparently some kids were talking about it at school and he wanted to check it out.
That was the beginning of the summer, any ever since then, you all had been there almost every day. It was more private than town and got you away from your problems so you didn’t mind.
However, it did introduce a new problem into your life.
“Come on babe,it’s fun out here” Patrick called, a wide smile on his face.
All you could do was groan, so sick of trying to convince them that you didn’t want to. Everyone was afraid of something but that didn’t make it any easier for them to understand.
...So you stayed, perched on top of a rock where you had been for at least an hour.
Anything was better than having to admit that your worst fear was the lake. “I’m good” you assured, giving the raven-haired boy thumbs up which seemed to be enough for him to move on.
In truth, it bothered all of the guys that you didn’t at least take a dip. Today was, by far, the hottest day of the summer so far and you had to be burning up.
Every time they asked, you assured yourself, and all of your friends, that you were fine. Though, Henry could tell that you were lying, and he didn’t like it one bit.
It was bad enough that you refused to wear sunscreen out here but he couldn’t exactly take you home with heat stroke.
Your folks would never let you out of the house again.
They already thought that the gang were nothing more than a bunch of thugs. Returning you in this condition would only solidify their opinions.
...And he couldn’t have that.
So, Henry did the only logical thing he could think of. Henry got out of the water, not stopping until he was standing in front of you.
“What are you-?” you started, only stopping when you saw the look on Henry’s face. You had never seen a look like that from him, he just looked so genuinely concerned.
“Off, now” he ordered, gesturing down to your clothes, only to roll his eyes when you didn’t move. You had no idea what he was getting at but you weren’t about to take your clothes off just because he told you to.
“Will you just do it, it’s too hot out here for all that” he grumbled, clearly unhappy with your hesitance.
As much as he would have loved to have you strip from him-this wasn’t about that. This was strictly about getting you out of this heat.
...He had to remember that.
You briefly considered telling him to fuck off before deciding not to push your luck. Henry had always had a soft spot for you but that didn’t make his temper any less short.
So, with a heavy sigh, you reached down to pull your t-shirt from your body. You would have liked more of an explanation but Henry wasn’t one to give that.
He was more of the barking orders kind.
Once you had stripped your clothes from your body, you paused-expecting Henry to tell you what the hell this was all about. Though, before he could explain, you realized that you’d acquired an audience at some point.
Over Henry’s shoulder stood; Belch, Vic, and Patrick-all grinning at you like idiots.
“What did you say to her, Bowers? I would have done it a long time ago” the tallest of them chided, that smug grin on his face. All you could do was roll your eyes at Patrick’s antics.
He could really be such an idiot sometimes. By this point in your friendship though, you paid him no mind.
Henry however, had some kind of problem with how you were being treated at the hands of his oldest, and dumbest, friend. “Knock it off, shithead” he spit, offering you a hand, which you took even though you still had no idea what the blonde was planning.
You could never tell with Henry.
“You’re gonna overheat, come on” he suggested, stopping only when your entire body tensed.
By this point, you were standing on the bank, the water only a few inches from your bare toes.
Normally, you would have just gone along with whatever the guys said out of blind trust but this was different. Nothing Henry said could get you in the water right now.
“What are you doing? Come on” he repeated, giving your arm another light tug-though you didn’t budge.
For a second, Henry stopped, just trying to figure out what was wrong with you. The two of you had been friends for a really long time and he’d never seen you like this.
Usually, you got this reaction out of other people.
“I can’t, Henry” you allowed, after a second, your brain getting kind of foggy at the very idea of going out there. The boy at your side was baffled, not only did you look genuinely terrified, but you just called him Henry.
It was always ‘Bowers’ or something along the lines of ‘dumb-ass’ or ‘dip-shit’ but never Henry.
...Something must have been really wrong.
“What’s wrong?” he asked finally, stopping his quest to get you into the water. Instead, he closed the gap between you, in hopes that would encourage you to open up a little bit.
The other guys had given up, returning to whatever dumb shit they were amusing themselves with.
It took a moment but you let out a heavy sigh before nodding. “I’m scared” it was slight and under your breath but he heard it. It didn’t make all that much sense to Henry but only because he’d never heard it before.
You half expected him to make fun of you but to your surprise, the ridicule never came.
Instead, Henry took your hand in his own, giving it a squeeze. The action surprised you, your eyes lifting from the dirt to his face. “Come on” he repeated himself, trying his best to lead you away from the safety of dry land.
You tensed again, before he huffed.
“Would you just trust me?” he grumbled, pretending to be offended. You were sure if you really wanted to but you knew that Henry wouldn’t let anything happen to you and he certainly wouldn’t let you die.
...So, as much as you hated it, you followed Henry further into the lake, only really tensing up when the water reached up to your waist. You felt like you were completely out of control and it was stressing you out.
You were sure that your heart was about to explode.
“Henry…” you hummed, stressing out more and more as you did your best to keep as close to him as humanly possible. All you could think about were all the bad things that could happen if an accident happened.
Maybe Henry wouldn’t be able to help you anyhow.
Luckily though, before you could literally lose your mind with all the fear that was crippling you, Henry picked you up with his arms under your thighs, which you wrapped around his waist instinctively.
It was possible that Henry would have never been able to do this without the help of the water, but you didn’t bother arguing. You were just glad to feel much more secure.
This was everything that you needed to feel better.
It may not have been the best option you had, but at least you weren’t going to literally die. Your fear wasn’t completely cured yet, but you knew that Henry had your back and that was the best thing that you could ask for.
“I told you to trust me” he grinned, clearly proud of himself at his clever plan. Sometimes you just needed to trust Henry, no matter how much you didn’t really want to. He was never going to let anything happen to you.
Now the only thing he had to figure out was how to get the guys shut up about his huge crush on you and how much more intense their ridicule would be now.
