Music ask, hell yeah: 1, 7, and kind of 15, but more like... three happy love songs (if that makes sense).
Makes sense to me! <3
1. three songs that come up when you put your phone on shuffle
Full disclosure, I don't have files on... my phone but also anywhere; I do my listening through Spotify, Bandcamp, and Youtube, so this is gonna be off the top playlists downloaded to phone for offline listening (which I only have because Plane. XD). 1. It's the End of the World as We Know It - REM (via the motivation playlist and I'm pretty sure from the Strexcorp fanmix that starts that playlist?) 2. Baptisms - Radical Face (via the noise-sensitive playlist) 3. Timebomb - Walk the Moon (via "Dance Like Your Best Friend's Watching", and also one of my favorite happy songs)
7. three songs you didn’t expect to like but eventually loved
1. At the End of August - 36 Crazyfists (Is this my genre of music? Not remotely. Did I listen to this song entirely because I stumbled onto the lyrics and went "is that... is that a Stand By Me reference?" ["I'll never replace the first ones I made/Jesus, does anyone?"] Yes. Yes I did. I still like it lyrically more and can only listen sometimes, but I have a soft spot for it.) 2. FourFiveSeconds - Rihanna, Kanye West, Paul McCartney (Look. The amount of recent music I listen to is extremely small. But I also used to listen to pop music reviews when I worked at Walmart just so I could hear someone complain about the songs that annoyed me, and I was interested in this from the very first clip I heard of it, and now it's a playlist staple.) 3. Señorita - Citizen Queen (I could not care less for the original based on the few times I heard it over the radio. But I do like Citizen Queen's other stuff and I got curious and it grew on me after a couple listens. Making it gay and giving it excellent harmonies changes how I feel a whole lot!)
15. three songs you want to dance with your love to(/happy love songs)
1. Just Some Guy - Anthony Rapp (We are wholesale going for the second and not the dancing definition here, cause this is not a dancey song, BUT it is one of my favorite love songs of all time and I will take any excuse to share the gorgeous sweetness. I could probably fill this whole thing with songs from this particular 'solo career of Broadway artists I am nostalgic for from teenage years' - consider Minuet by Idina Menzel a runner-up - but I will not. XD) 2. You Told the Drunks I Knew Karate - Zooey Van Gooey (it's just cute and happy and has that lovingly-kind-of-exasperated-but-emphasis-is-on-the-loving that I adore. I have several shippy or fanvid associations with it, too, which doesn't hurt.) 3. To My Valentine - SJ Tucker (I know the title doesn't make it sound that way, but poly love song! POLY LOVE SONG! Also it's just so sweet. Goddess is also great, but it's more of a crush song.)
