Yeah, a lot of people have heard of either 'Burn the House Down' or 'Bang', but not the rest of AJR's songs (I'm pretty sure they're the only band I've liked continuously for so long). All of OK orchestra is amazing, but a depressed kind of amazing. I think 'Sober Up' is a pretty good fit for both Himeko and maybe Siegfried?, and 'Way Less Sad' sometimes reminds me of Fuka's backstory, if not her general vibe. Aside from that, 'World's Smallest Volin & Bummerland are both slightly happier songs!

I literally checked "World's Smallest Violin" that popped up on youtube main page right before checking Tumblr lol (mainly because I was expecting some reference to that one spongebob meme)

pretty sure people ever heard of "burn the house down" because of one of those nightcore radios or channels like xKito Music. at least that's in my case

9. which character is most like their OG counterpart?

ahh maybe safiyya (sana)? they’re both very much leaders in their friend groups and in what they get involved in during their seasons (sana - russ, safiyya - journalism), they both won’t take shit but are also super sweet especially to their friends and family. safiyya might be a bit more ambitious than sana, or maybe not really “more ambitious” but she lets it drive her more

10. which character is least like their OG counterpart?

jude (wiliiam), theo r (p chris among others), and their friends eli and blaise are technically the penetrators, but like...they aren’t. i’ve referred to them in my notes as the himbo squad a few times. together they have one of my favorite dynamics to write - they’re extremely supportive of each other (toxic masculinity does not exist for them) and they’re huge dorks. i love them so much

12. what’s something that people on tumblr would scream about in each season?

season 1: the twist in the finale. to lay it out for you it ends basically the same as the og - holly (noora) borrows a phone from kai (isak), sees some gay google searches on it, etc. one difference is that she keeps it to herself, another difference is that she goes to give it back to kai...only to find out that it isn’t his phone, but jasper (jonas)’s.

season 2: just...the entire premise being holly coming to terms with her sexuality rather than falling in love with a boy. if you want specifics kai and jasper kissing during the truth or dare game, willa and holly kissing at the anti-prom, and the entire grow as we go clip.

season 3: i mean obviously the first kiss clip in the aquarium, also maybe the shotgunning clip at the end of the first episode. definitely the jordan twist and the hotel clip.

season 4: the end of episode 5 (karaoke apocalypse...), also the Reveal in episode 8 if you hadn’t figured it out yet bc i genuinely don’t know if i’m making it too obvious or not

season 5: being as vague as possible here but the end of episode 5 is possibly the darkest, saddest moment in all of skam dc. also the ihop clip but for very different reasons

season 6: the reveals at the end of the first episode (who the love interest is, what happened to ***** ***), the kiss, the reunion...

season 7: haven’t planned out most of this season but i know that the main does a bad thing and idk how people would react

season 8: the reveal of who the main is. the final words of the series.
