connor talked about the dream situation an hour and 9 minutes into his recent vod. cera transcripted a portion of his talk.

outdated but i absolutely love this video as it opens a window into connor's psyche. whilst a lot of creators are open about their mental health, connor's is one that is so fascinating to view because of the platform he frequents which naturally leads to me being parasocial and how open he his about his health (as much as he wants to be).

he briefly talks about his rising anxieties about his hobby turning into a career he can know rely on financially and how know he doesn't necessarily have an outlet now due to it turning into something to natural worry about. its interesting that he still has that anxiety now more than ever because of his move.

throughout the smplive/pandemic boom, he was able to save enough money to afford to move to LA after living in Austin into an apartment that even his landlord said it seemed beyond his budget. the biggest motivator for this move was to become closer to friends and to motivate himself to become to social within the creator scene. with this move, he immediately becomes worried about his financial situation on top of the overall decline in viewership everyone is experiencing on twitch because of the intense covid period dying down.

he talked a bit today about trying to find a hobby outside of streaming because he feels like he doesn't do anything outside of it.

i'm not sure where im going with this. i guess to show even with growth, the problems are still problems.

at first connor constantly calling out stans on twitter annoyed the hell out of me but looking back now it’s so justifiable because they don’t care! they don’t care what connor does on stream or what he says. they only care about being seen as morally superior to an average ass man. and it does nothing to improve the situation they’re supposed to be taking care of.

connor is someone who wants their content to be enjoyed by all! if he does or says shit that doesn’t sit right with his chat, they’ll call him out! he can change his position in situations! he’s even apologized to a connor frog twitter stan! idk man i just hate people villainizing him.

the thing is THEY DONT CARE THEY DONT CARE THEY DONT GAF ABOUT HIM!!!!!!! thats me being dramatic but they genuinely only care about him when they have the chance to justify harassment towards him. the current harrasment is the ghost of the 2021 mass cancellation that everyone got. if they cared about who hes with, they wouldve been on his ass for still being freinds with miz (which i and other connor frogs in chat have done. to publicly disown dream means that this situation has gotten to his head that it seems better to succumb to what the public wants. connor can take backlash to an extent but he is more prone to crack due to just not wanting to be a bad guy. he has terrible anxiety and other mental illnesses he dealt with for years. hes gotten panic attacks in the past for similar situations (the drake tweet to be specific). i think hes doing what he thinks needs to be done.

either way, he was never super close to dream. connor's opinion shouldn't matter when sapnap and george are still friends with them 😭😭

dreams idea of his new smp could've worked but it's going to be such a shitshow. having a google translate mod in the sever defeats the idea of unity within all 60 supposed members of this new server. it's going to be shit because not everything is going to be translated corrected, especially spanish and portuguese is which there are dialect differences and meaning of words vary as well. he doesnt even have all the members set. it's so obvious that dream is trying to ride off of the sucess of quackity's ability to flawlessly curate him content to a different language and qsmps success. if dream isnt actually putting effort into at least learning basic phrases of the featured languages of his new server then i dont know how its going to succeed.

Hi! Since you are the only Connor Frog in critblr/leaktwt I know of, I want to ask for your opinion on something. Some days ago some other critblr people were discussing the friendship between Connor and Schlatt, and basically concluding, that they drifted appart and their friendship is over. The issue i am having with this is, that the people analyzing it all don't like Connor at all, so their takes were heavily influenced by just wanting him gone out of Schlatt's live lmao. As a Connor and Schlatt frog, I didn't really see them drifting appart, but maybe I am just looking at it thru rose tinted goggles of wanting everything to be fine, because I like them both so much? If at all, i would have said they got closer with eachother since in Texas... the only thing I did notice, is that Schlatt reverted back to being a huge home boy, after having a burst of going out and partying a lot, while Connor went from being a home boy (especially when he just got Bumper and lived alone, and didn't had anyone to look after him all the time, but now has Schlatt for that), to now going more out, traveling more and partying more. So their partying and home boy phases weren't in synch with eachother. But it is hard to tell what is going on with their friendship, because they can just hang out with eachother at home all day every day and we are none the wiser. I also have to admit, I had missed out on Connor streams for months because he streams too late for my new working schedule, so I don't know if he maybe mentioned something that indicates they had a fallout with eachother. What are your thoughts on all this?

i don't personally think their friendship has ended or will end soon. now im not sure if schlatt talks about whenever he hangs out with his friends out of stream (i dont watch him so my knowledge is only limited to connor), but connor does mention names when he talks about times hes been out if they're involved in the story.

i also think people tend to forget that they've been friends for longer than what's been publicly documented. connor and schlatt are also young adults who decided to move in with each other for the first time, not to forget they both moved to a completely new state as well. i think as they've settled into adult life whilst balancing non-traditional careers, they've also balanced out their personal relationship with one another. they both make wildly different content, so there's no point of constantly being in each other's stuff.

their homeboy and partygoer phases defiantly didnt match up but i dont personally see that affecting their relationship.

im not sure if you know but connor has talked on stream about how hes trying to save move to more to LA. i think (again, connor frog) schlatt has also talked about how he doesnt really enjoy his time in austin now and wants to move out. this could either mean there is a natural drift (which imo shouldn't be a big deal)

tldr; if there is a drift between connor and schlatt, it shouldn't be a big deal. i think they're people that don't like being loud about their friendship due to previous experience and personal style of content.

idk why but i feel like this face reveal will spark a wave of pre face-reveal fans having hatred or feeling superior towards post face-reveal fans. it’s likely it’ll happen, but i think it’s be very vocal and aggressive. i thinks it’s because so many fans have stuck with him throughout the roughest patches of his career and now he’s only getting the support he deserves because he’s hot? it just won’t slide with them. bts army levels of protection could possibly happen if any wave of hatred against dream begins. even if it isn’t as vocal as i’d imagine, i think that separation will always exist.
