I guess what sucks abt art to me is that I have no real frame of reference in my head. I can’t picture things. I don’t plan drawings because I can’t See what other artists see.

irl everything is everything is kinda flat to me, I have to like remind myself self to see things as 3d if that makes a lick of sense. I struggle drawing boxes, circles, straight lines. if I don’t draw every like three days I forget how and regress like 3 years in art improvement- and that’s without added rustiness :/ it sucks but I don’t wanna do anything else but draw so 😫

#a lot of art is about discipline #something I struggle with #I draw nearly everyday if I can help it #but I do take more breaks now #my art has clearly improved #but I’m no where near where I want to be #I feel like. my art looks like a 17yos #but when I was 17 my art looked like a 12yos #and not those Uber talenteded draw with a mouse in ms paint 12 year olds #but a realistic one who is very excited to learn but not willing to #to now who is very willing to learn but only wants to draw the same things #I wish I was medicated for my adhd #I think the comic would be out if we were #and like not finished lol hell. we’d prolly be like 6 chapters in #but damn it’d be real. #we’ve been working on this for so long #and my art has improved and uh #gotten worse at the same time #but I also attribute that to the inibilty to see things in my head #for the most part. when Chevys tells me their ideas TGATS when I can see things like a fucking movie in my head #but reallly only when they talk #even when I imagine fake music videos in my head while listening to music #it’s more of a vibe and stage directions than actually imaging things #because I can’t imagine them
