8: favourite <> pairing? (I’m adding not canon as well) Not hard at all. Obviously Equius<>Nepeta. It’s literally the most smooth, well-working, and cutest moirallegance in the entire webcomic. They balance each other out so well it’s incredible. Their interactions in the pesterlogs are also hands down the best exchanges I’ve read. Nepeta is impulsive and bold (as a Heart player with an Active class should be), and Equius is STRONG, imposing, and intimidating. Nepeta needs someone to hold her down and make her think through her actions, and Equius needs someone to help him loosen up and stop being so controlling. It’s a match made in heaven. John<>Rose is also one of my favourite non-canon <> pairings (though I do not object to Jade<>Rose, I prefer them in the Red quadrant). Their earlier interactions give hints to some sort of pale feelings (the closest humans can feel, I guess). John is all pranks and lighthearted banter, but wispy and not solid in his self (Breath players, am I right?). Rose is very hard, very meticulous and analytical. Rose helps John become more secure and helps him see when things mean business. John helps Rose be less serious, to see that life isn’t all sharp corners and facts. (Anyone see a pattern in Moirallegance?)

10: Favourite o3< pairing? I love you. Okay so ny'all don’t have to follow my blog for that long to know that I absolutely LOVE ashen ships. Auspicism is barely even mentioned in Homestuck, and is also barely shown in action. It’s to be expected of course (as the other three quadrants are more relatable to our human feelings than the Ashen quadrant). Which honestly just makes me want HELLA MORE of it. Anyway, onto my favourite o3< pairing. (Canon) Terezi o3< Rose o3< Gamzee Now Terezi<3<Gamzee is an abusive ship. I personally do not like it one bit (Black GamEqu is my noncanon shit™ and Gamzee is gay) (Also that’s when Rose is going through some things as well so it’s Not That Good™). But I believe that: if Rose hadn’t been inebriated for most of that time (along with the whole Caliborn possession thing), it could have been a functioning Ashen pairing. Think about it! Terezi as the hot-headed kismesis; always up at Gamzee’s throat, always dealing out cutting remarks. Gamzee as the more brooding kismesis; seemingly unperturbed, getting under the others skin with no problem, being aggressive when tempers run high. Rose as the calm middle man, always there to calm the situation, clear up miscommunications, be the shoulder. It could have been a truly great thing, if Homestuck had gone a different way. (Fanon) Eridan o3< Feferi o3< Sollux Now, I know there’s a lot of old quadrant history between these three here. In fact, depending on the day it switches with Kanaya being the Auspice, but the dynamic is quite some good for thought. Now, as I am also fond of black/red flipping Erisol, I think that Feferi only has to step in half of the time. Eridan is the hot-headed kismesis, Sollux the brooding one. Feferi is the middle man, cooling tempers when things get too extreme. Eridan listens to Feferi because they were once good friends and he respects her as the Heiress; Sollux listens because he also knows Feferi and I like pale Solfef. In conclusion; I want more Auspicious content in my life. Also since there is not a lot of information a lot of my Ashen pairs might be missing the mark completely. Thank you for your time.

21: favourite: Equius, Horuss, or E%ecutioner Darkleer? You have to make me pick? Ugggghjh Okay so, since I don’t know much about Darkleer, I can’t really draw a conclusion on how much I like him so it’s really a draw between Equius and Horuss (though he’s p cool). So Horuss is like? Kind of cool? He’s a great engineer and even made an entire robotic body for Rufioh (keeping him alive even though he was a head???? Wild), and he also was just really sweet about connecting with Meulin and trying to change and be a better person. Equius I like a lot (sweaty horse boi), but Horuss is my favourite of the Zahhaks }:)
