Okay so Fitz is my favorite character, but I actually don't have strong opinions about The Devil Complex

#leo fitz #agents of shield #aos #maybe it's cuz i didn't watch it when the show was on...i only saw it for the first time like a month ago #but apparently this episode was a hugely divisive fandom-splitting event #which is hilarious to me because that would imply the fandom was somehow unified before #and the aos fandom hasn't been unified on anything since like season one lmao #anyway fitz is still my favorite character but i also feel bad for what daisy went through in 5x14 but i also can't fully blame fitz #because it's unclear exactly how much he was in control of his actions #it's nuanced is the point #and also the whole thing became moot after the end of season five #because sixth season fitz was from a split timeline where he never did any of that stuff #it would have been nice to see him and daisy talk about it at some point in season six though #i guess that's what fanfiction is for
