Eula and Jean are academic rivals competing to be the valedictorian

Diluc is Jean's boyfriend who is in some sports team probably football like Smith was idk yet

Thoma is Jean's neighbor and was Diluc's friend before they drifted apart

All three of them were kissed by Jean before they disappeared

They all team up to find her for different reasons: Thoma cause he can't say no, Diluc cause he's kinda obligated as Jean's boyfriend, and Eula who is determined to drag Jean back so she can win her title as the valedictorian fair and square instead of default

Eula is currently living with Amber and her grandfather after her parents kicked her out. Her best friend is Yanfei who's father runs a book shop

Venti is the music teacher who occasionally complains about the school budget being spent on the football team
