why must every trans character be afab

#had a cnvo w a friend where i told him i forget hes trans #and he was like well do u think im cis or something #and i was like no its just youre such a boy person that i literally cant imagine you ever being something else #like obvs i know he is trans bc. we're friends #idk #i think that women and afab people tend to dominate fandom spaces and theres a desire to read in representation to your fan stuff #and as we r all aware one way that manifests is by making everyone gay but also it seems to manifest in most of the trans characters #be afab #and like theres nothing wrong with that per se #but like in my corner of the internet there is just so little trans hc about amab people #like theres the occasional nod to trans women as goddesses and as overwhelmningly beautiful and shit #but its often done i feel in the same way that a lot of peoples attraction to women in general is done #like how peple will write literal essays about their male faves and then also turn around and be like ah yes. Woman <3 and thats the extent #of the love for the favorite girls #i feel like its related somehow yk #like a way to further project onto a male character is to give him top surgery scars bc its relatable #and you know since fandom is dominated by afab people thats gonna happen #but idk i wish there was more stuff about amab people #this post is also ful of my own baises and the psots that i have just seen so jot that down lol #anywya #ceros posting
