Arcana: Which of the major arcana cards do you identify with?

Death!

Mine: “I think it’s a really cool & misunderstood card! It’s not just abt the end, but new beginnings & possibilities. Death allows us to move forward into the future”

fun fact: Mine’s main magic (transforming & deconstructing spells/magical energies) is based off the ‘transformation’ theme of Death

Blossom: What’s your favorite flower?

Hibiscus! It makes a great tea & its pretty (it also reminds Mine of home but they don’t know that :) )

Palace: Are you a workaholic or is it difficult to even pull yourself out of bed?

Mine: “Umm, well, I wouldn’t say I’m that hardworking, but er, I guess I do get pretty restless if I’m not up & about doing something hehe”

Workaholic, mostly due to their restlessness & hyperfocus (thank you ADHD). Ofc there are days when they prefer to laze abt & stay in bed all day (Asra is behind most of these days)

Teacher: How’d you originally learn magic?

Mine: “……Asra?? Spellbooks too I guess, when he’s not here”

Preamnesia, Mine studied magic under the Death Arcana’s tutelage. Learning spells or magic using regular methods was difficult for them, so Death often showed them alternative ways, resulting in their unorthodox & unique approach to magic

Their aunt was their other main teacher, & when they were traveling, Mine tried to gain new information from books or other magicians. Asra was the one who inspired Mine to venture into areas of magic outside of spellwork, which had been their sole focus before

OFC?? THEYRE MALAYSIAN??? HOW CAN YOU NOT BE SUPERSTITIOUS LIVING IN THIS COUNTRY????

In all seriousness, even w/o their Balayu upbringing (which is a doozy considering their aunt is a witch-doctor), hanging around Asra & their intense magical studies make them VERY superstitious. Justified as superstitions & the supernatural are v much intertwined w their life
