maybe it was the thought of mason moving to the other side of the country, but a sadness sat with the triplet. in amongst all of the panicking she'd been doing as to why they'd been summoned together in the way that they had, the thought of one of the family moving somewhere far away hadn't actually crossed her mind. she liked that they were all close together. but it did seem like a more likely option than one of their parents being incredibly sick out of the blue.

"wait, what?" caroline's appearance at least meant that the sisters were safe and sound, another worry crossed off the list of potentials. now there was a whole new problem to deal with. "where did you hear that? did dad tell you? and why did he tell you first?" in a family as big as theirs, there was always going to be someone who knew the details first –– rachel just didn't like when it wasn't her.

"tell us what you know, right now." they still had time, before their parents turned up she was sure. "you have to spill. triplet privilege and all that."

rachel leaned back in her chair, fingers playing with the ends of her hair. it was true, this was the worst. she hated waiting around, she hated not knowing, she hated being unsure. and being summoned to the king-freedman dining room to wait for their parents without any information as to why. “okay but really, what’s going to happen?” she asked, looking over towards her sister. “mom’s gonna be pissed for a while, dad will calm her down and tell her it’s not a big deal. it’s what always happens.” but they’d never been summoned and sat around the dining room table for so long without knowing at least a little. “unless you think something’s happened? what if they’re sick? or caroline? where even is she?”

smol bio - caroline king-freedman - the middle of charlotte and cooper’s triplets, most would say that she was a spitfire from the time the moment she was born. ambition might as well have been her middle name and it was clear early on that she was the child most similar to her mother. surrounded by doctors, medical school was a no brainer. hearing her mother speak fondly of pete wilder and being fascinated with infectious disease since health class in middle school, her path was soon carved out for her. she worked hard and got into harvard medical school, beaming with excitement of a fresh start across the country rather than shying away from it. she completed her residency through harvard and moved on to john hopkins for a pediatric infectious disease fellowship. she was well sought after upon graduation but took a position with ucla as she had started to miss the west coast and her family. she hopes to climb the rungs of the ladder quickly to follow in her mom’s footsteps to become chief of staff.

being in seattle was something new to justin. he had never been here before but once he was all settled in his one bedroom, ( comfortable ) apartment, he had texted georgia ( thank goodness she still had the same number ). he could have texted caroline, but he wanted it to be a surprise of him coming here. once he got the address of the king-freedman house, he set off on his adventure to find where this house was. justin called for an uber, since he doesn’t have his own car here yet, but he needed some way to get there. plugging in the address, he waited anxiously to see his girls again. minutes later, the uber pulls up in front of the nice house that looks recently moved into. a sigh leaves his lips before getting out & walks up the front steps before knocking on the door. of course who is to answer, none other than the youngest cooplet, georgia. “one moment.” georgia smiled before walking more into her house, “caroline, your baby daddy’s here.” she called out as justin stepped into the house, “thanks georgia.” he chuckled earning a smile from the youngest cooplet, “anytime.” she dismissed herself & went back to what she was doing while he waited for caroline to be seen.
