Let's talk about this man

It's all just a theory (but I really want it to be true) and at this moment, my apologies, I can barely speak english

Okay so my theory is that, that he is Rinaldo. Most of you probably first time hear about him, so let me explain

This is Rinaldo, he was in the manga but only in physical version so I don't have good english translation

We don't see his face here but we can know that he is one of the paladins. Each paladin has a special piece of armor on their hands, common Chasseurs have a normal one

I'm sure Rinaldo is not good Chasseur, I'm quite sure he works with Gano. Because of the fact, that he manipulated Roland's feelings into not looking for Misha but also because of looking at Chanson de Geste, where Rinaldo was Gano cousin and opponent of Charlemagne... There is also my another theory, because in Girart de Vienne we learn that Olivier is also their cousin and his uncle Girart fought against Charlemagne. I know its crazy to think that Olivier is by Gano side... But sometimes I look at his eyes when Roland act like he knows something...

Astolfo need so many hugs and to be told he's precious either way, and not have that Charles telling him he's dirty but should fight bc suicide is a sin against God. It's totally accurate to the church but wow way of making the problem worse longterm.

Also we have our Carlomagno or Charlemagne seems like. And Gano deserves to be decked on the face for triggering Astolfo, that odious fucker. Olivier and Roland are really the best of that lot we've seen, uh. Vanitas and Noé were lucky when in the Catacombs arc, bc ouch.

Well at least it seems like Astolfo is gonna be under the tutoring of Roland who is gonna wnat the best for him, and it means Olivier will likely also be around, so that's two allies. (I hope)

So far the other Paladins (namely Roland, Olivier and Astoldo) we've been introduced to are based on characters from the matter of France. In the legend, there are twelve Paladins who serve King Charlemagne or Charles the Great.

So I suppose he might be Charlemagne himself? Him being the first paladin seems be quite a prestigious position too, which would make sense.

BIOGRAPHY:

Thierry was born to French royalty, so there’s really not much he didn’t have in his life growing up. Whatever he wanted, the Marquis de Charlemagne got. Born in Lyon, but mostly raised in Paris, Thierry also found earlier in life what his duty would be once he was the one in charge of his family’s name and crest, and so the moment he became a young adult all of his movements were followed and scrutinized.

He got a degree in Business from the Université de Panthéon-Assas in Paris, then moved to New York and got yet another degree in Social Studies from the University of Columbia. All in all, he always managed to maintain a somewhat normal balance between his duties, and what he truly wanted out of life, which was simply to have fun, and squeeze the most he could from it. As fun as it was to lay on thick about his title to get what he wanted from men, it was also fun to get away with people not actually knowing who he was, but simply a man, looking for a good fuck for the night.

Then his life would turn upside down when he met Olivier Reus, Congressman for the Conservative Political Party of Paris, at a Christmas party. Not only a supposedly straight man, but also a married, much older family man. They met. They hit it off. They spent the whole night doing unspeakable, unlawful things to one another, and that was the start of a torrid affair, one they had to work hard to keep under wraps so they wouldn’t get caught.

But all good things must come to an end, and theirs came one night Olivier tried to abuse Thierry’s trust by wanting to force him to do something he didn’t feel like doing. When the younger man said no, it got him a bad beating from the older man and his associates, who went on to tell him that if he said anything to anyone they would kill him.

Thierry didn’t want to place this burden on his family, and so he started to look for ways to get away, and far away as possible, while he made heads and tails of what he should do next. This was when he got an invitation from a place called the Haus of Perses-

An island in an unknown location.

Talk about a place to start over.
