Snoop Dogg and Shante been together nearly 40 yrs and married 27 yrs which is very rare as celebrities! Snoop whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., met Shante in the 1980s in high school and attended prom together in 1989. They got married in 1997.
Still going strong, they have three kids: Corde, 29, Cordell, 26, and Cori 24. When ask what makes his marriage work Snoop said, “We were both willing to sacrifice for each other. She knew what my dreams and goals was, and at the same time, I knew what hers were." "To have a family and to be who we are, it was hard, definitely, because so many different things pulling you away from marriage, and people divorcing every other day. But when you truly love somebody, there ain't nothing you can do to break that up and I feel like that was true love at first sight.''
In 2021, Snoop officially made Shante his manager. He spoke about how she has stuck with him through thick and thin with his career.
"Shante has been guiding my career behind the scenes from day one. She has always been my final gut check with all my decisions, and I wouldn't be where I am today without her. I am grateful to have her as my official manager, helping to build the Snoop Dogg empire together," he said.
Shante herself commented: "I have been by Snoop's side for over two decades so together with the rest of the team, our goal is to strengthen Snoop's legacy as a brand with the loyalty and trust of our guidance that has made Snoop who he is today."

Revealed on December 19, this partnership empowers artists to mint their musical creations seamlessly within the Base ecosystem.
In a noteworthy update shared on X (formerly Twitter), Sound.xyz highlighted the advantages of the Base ecosystem as an Ethereum layer 2, emphasizing lower gas fees for minting nonfungible token (NFT) tracks and swift transaction processing. Notably, artists can now upload and withdraw their creations without the need to delve into cryptocurrency purchases or fund bridging.
The inaugural track, aptly titled “Based,” explores blockchain themes and was minted on Base by the talented artists Reo Cragun and Heno. The lyrics resonate with the spirit of the blockchain community, proclaiming, “We’re bringing a billion on-chain. Some people leave whenever there are tough times, but shout out to the real ones that stuck by.”

Over the past year, the music industry’s embrace of the Web3 space has gained momentum, with renowned names exploring blockchain-based releases. Mega-popular thrash metal band Megadeth launched an NFT collection, offering their global community innovative ways to connect in both physical and digital realms. Snoop Dogg to Open Bored Ape NFT-Themed Dessert Restaurant
A fast food joint called Bored & Hungry — the first eatery inspired by a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT — opened in Los Angeles this spring. Now the team behind that eatery is bringing in rapper and NFT enthusiast Snoop Dogg to open up its next NFT-themed restaurant.
Snoop Dogg and Food Fighters Universe—a startup co-founded by Andy Nguyen, Kevin Seo and Phillip Huynh—have announced plans to open Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration, an “immersive retail dessert experience” that will similarly take root in Los Angeles.
Dr. Bombay is the name that Snoop (born Calvin Broadus Jr.) has given his Bored Ape Yacht Club avatar. The Bored Ape Yacht Club is one of the most popular Ethereum NFT collections, spanning 10,000 unique avatars depicting disinterested cartoon apes. The NFTs have collectively generated more than $2.1 billion in secondary market trading volume to date.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club, created by startup Yuga Labs, grants its NFT holders the right to commercialize their owned images. As such, Bored Apes have been used for products ranging from apparel to beer and marijuana packaging, as well as virtual band projects and upcoming film and TV productions.
In other words, Snoop’s dessert restaurant isn’t an “official” Bored Ape restaurant created by Yuga Labs, but the rapper is well within his rights to use his owned NFT image for it. An NFT serves as a proof of ownership for an item—in this case, a digital image of an ape that also provides access to a community of owners, plus commercial rights and other perks.
Bored & Hungry takes the same approach as the upcoming dessert shop. It features branding and decor inspired by Bored Ape and Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFTs owned by the restaurant’s creators, as Decrypt discovered when visiting the eatery in April. Food Fighters Universe plans to launch its own NFTs that provide various benefits around its restaurants.
Snoop Dogg is already deeply entrenched in the NFT space. He owns Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs and has collaborated with projects such as The Sandbox on Ethereum and Clay Nation on Cardano. He also released NFTs based on the classic Nyan Cat meme.
The rapper also claims to be the person behind Cozomo de’ Medici, a pseudonymous Crypto Twitter personality and NFT collector with a valuable multi-million-dollar collection including CryptoPunks, Art Blocks, and XCOPY pieces. Snoop’s son, Cordell Broadus, goes by the name Champ Medici on Twitter and is also involved in the restaurant initiative.
“Food Fighters Universe is bridging food and Web3 and blazing a trail with real-life utility for NFTs,” said Cordell, in a release. “It’s the future of the restaurant industry, and my dad and I are thrilled to join the team and utilize their expertise to bring Dr. Bombay to life.”

In other words, Snoop's dessert restaurant isn't a "official" Yuga Labs-created Bored Ape restaurant, but the rapper is completely within his rights to utilize his own NFT image for it. An NFT is a digital picture of an ape that serves as proof of ownership, as well as access to a community of owners, commercial rights, and other privileges.
Bored & Hungry follows in the footsteps of the impending dessert shop. As Decrypt observed when visiting the café in April, it has branding and design inspired by the restaurant's owners' Bored Ape and Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFTs. Food Fighters Universe intends to establish its own NFTs, which will offer a variety of benefits in the vicinity of its restaurants.
Snoop Dogg is already well-known in the NFT world. He is the owner of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs and has worked on projects like as Ethereum's The Sandbox and Cardano's Clay Nation. He also created NFTs inspired by the Nyan Cat meme.
Cozomo de' Medici, a pseudonymous Crypto Twitter figure and NFT collector with a rich multi-million-dollar collection of CryptoPunks, Art Blocks, and XCOPY pieces, claims to be the rapper.
