Tamagotchi Harajuku Takeshita-dori Yurinan Collaboration Round 2!

She’s back by popular demand. Bandai Japan is partnering again with Harajuku Takeshita-dori Yurinan located on the famous Takeshita Street. The first collaboration must have been so popular that they’re back for more. From Tuesday, August 8th 2023, they’re introducing a new sweet! The Tamagotchi Kohaku Puzzle, which is an agar-agar sugar sweet which is very popular in ASMR. They’re basically a sweet that features an outside crispy shell but the inside is juicy, and it is a snack that is famous for the unique luxurious combination of texture that it has.

The treat will come in cubes, and there will be enough cubes to place together to form Mametchi, and Marutchi! There are two flavors of these cubes which include soda (blue cubes), and pineapple (yellow cubes). Every cube shape will be different since these are all hand made and naturally dried. These will only be available for a limited time at the Harajuku Takeshita-dori Yurinan location for ¥1,480 including tax. There will be a QR code featured on the leaflet you’ll receive with the purchase that will give you a blueprint of how to assemble the puzzle. These will be available not only at the Harjuku Takeshita-dora Yurinan located, but also at Ishikawaya Honpo in Kanazawa City.

There is one more thing. Not only are we getting the new Tamagotchi Kohaku Puzzle, to help celebrate, Harajuku Takeshita-dori Yurinan is also brining back the ever so popular Tamagotchi dorayaki sandwiches which feature Mametchi, Mimitchi, and Kuchipatchi on the top of them, along with custard and whipped fillings. These will be available for ¥600 for takeout, or ¥610 dine-in each.

Takeshita-dori Yurinan is also bringing back the popular can badges, which you’ll receive with a purchase of a Tamagotchi dorayaki sandwich! There are six total to collect, and we would assume they’re the same from last time, but with the launch of the Tamagotchi Uni since the last promotion, they could feature the newest characters!
